Saimme mitä odotimme - kotoisan kaksion

Saimme sen mitä tilasimme. Keittiö toimiva, tosin astioita olisimme tarvinneet enemmän. Pikkuparveke keittiön yhteydessä. Yhteinen kattoterassi, josta hieno näköala, myös siellä vietimme aikaa. Itsepalvelupesulassa pesimme vaatteita ja kuivatimme kattoterassilla. Vuoteet mukavat. Pesuhuone toimiva, hyllytilaa riittävästi. Kaappitilaa makuuhuoneissa riittävästi. Televisiota emme käyttäneet. Sijainti erinomainen, kaupungin äänet kuuluivat toisinaan öisin, sehän luonnollista. Isäntään otimme tarvittaessa yhteyttä, asiat tuli hoidettua erittäin hyvin. Toinen kerros, ei hissiä ( emme sitä kaivanneet ).

Relaxing stay at the heart of Valetta

The location is terrific, you can see the Upper Barraka Gardens from the little terrace. Close to everything (bus terminal, downtown, main sights, restaurants etc.) Great wifi in a spacious, well-appointed property: all necessary facilities and amenities. At the heart of everything, yet surprisingly quiet at night. Air-con works and makes heatwaves easy to bear; fans are more pleasant to use, though, and they are readily available. The kitchen makes for a great socializing area, the interior decoration is nice and cozy. The main - corner - bedroom looks very stylish. Easy to communicate with the owner, smooth check-in and check-out procedures. Would definitely stay again.

Nice and refreshing 😉

Very nice, cozy and clean apartment. The host was very friendly and helpful. Apartment is in the center and it is easy accessible to the main attractions. It has a air condition and a ceiling fan which is a good combination (didn’t used it because it wasn’t hot inside). Overall everything was great and good value for the money.

Loud music in the night from the bar near by till the midnight. It was nice to sit on balcony and listening the music but it wasn’t fun when you needed to sleep because you have to wake up early to go to excursion 😔

Great spot, fantastic host

It is in a great location. spacious apartment with just about everything we might need. Leo, our host, was fantastic.

A bar a few doors down played music very loud on Saturday night until about 11:40. For us it was a problem because of our early schedule the next day.

The property was not what we expected and compared to other properties we have rented for similar or lower prices it was

Location was excellent except for Friday night music from the nearby restaurant and party noise after that.

There were no instructions on how to use some facilities, eg garbage disposal, stove and kitchen under cupboard lighting. However Leonard did respond promptly to our queries. The pillows on the beds were in unacceptable condition and there were no spare cases for the extra pillows. The lower bunk was not properly made up. The website was misleading in that it states the property has a flat screen television with cable channels but this was not the case. We were told we needed to use our own Netflix login. After discussion Leonard set it up with his login. The website also mentioned a washing machine , with no mention of costs, however we were informed that we were supposed to pay. Again after discussion Leonard agreed to waive the fee. Having rented many apartments in all parts of Europe we have never encountered TV and washing arrangements like this before. Perhaps the website should be changed to make these arrangements perfectly clear.

Perfect Location for Valletta!

Excellent location in a charming apartment building in Valletta. Apartment was the perfect thing for our family, and was cozy and convenient. We would stay there again!

Superb

Leonard was communicating very well with us before we even arrived. He went beyond what we expected to make our stay comfortable and feel welcome in his apartment. The apartment itself is located on the edge of Valetta. So if you are looking for a place that is close to the city and the bus terminal, this is the perfect apartment.

The area that the apartment is located in, is not the most quiet place in Valetta. Or maybe it is just the neighbors. In any case I had to use ear plugs. But then I am easily woken up by noise.

Exceptional

This is a quite large, well-equipped apartment in a 100-year old house. Despite being in the heart of Valetta (10 minutes walk to everywhere) it's also very quiet in the night. As we were here in December, we were a little concerned about the heating (which is sufficient when using the air conditioner).

Excellent comfortable apartment in fabulous location

Melita was a roomy apartment, with a huge and comfortable bed, and plenty of storage space. The many restaurants and bars of Valletta's historic centre are close by, yet there is very little noise at night - this is an unusual combination. Having said that, there is always some early morning noise (builders nearby, car horns etc) so ear plugs are still a good idea. The owner was great, and happy to help with any information that we needed. Very close to the bus station, from which you can easily and cheaply reach the entire island - no need to hire a car!

Central location, easy access to bus station, market street shopping, cafes, etc. Great host too!

Our host was able to arrange transportation from the airport for us, as we had a late arrival. Our driver had the keys to the apartment and was able to check us in. Wonderful!

First night was a little difficult to sleep, as windows had been shut and no fans had been running. The apartment does not have air conditioning, so it was quite hot and stuffy.
