Clean, comfortable, very functional - everything to make it your home during your stay. Stunning lake and rivers nearby. Fishing on site and across the road. Very responsive host. Very much enjoyed the hike on the property and fitness classes at nearby studio.

Lovely spacious for 3 and clean with beautiful grounds
Given its remoteness (which we loved) we needed a bigger freezer and fridge, but that was it

the view and the walk from our front door straight on to a river with birds and trout in the river .we walked for an hour and didn't see any one else .
It was great
The smell of the gas boilers ,when sitting outside

The property is in a lovely peaceful location but only a 10 minute drive from a big supermarket. The cottage itself is fantastic. Very clean, providing everything you need for a self catering experience. It always had the added touch of complimentary milk, orange juice in the fridge along with a xmas card and xmas present. Excellent stay, would stay again.
Only minor thing is the boiler is linked to hot water and heating so boiler needs to be on in unison. However wasnt a big deal.

I'm a bit late with my review, but we booked this as a last minute getaway with our dog and we were so glad we did. The cottage was warm and comfortable and very well equipped and Beryl the owner checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We were told to feel free to walk anywhere around the private land which included a long stretch of river bank which led to the old Bone Mill, which was perfect for our dog who is a little deaf and was able to walk freely without us worrying. It was the perfect getaway we needed and we are definitely hoping to get back again soon.

Cottage was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. Had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Lovely walk by the river right outside the front door and really peaceful and quiet. Plenty to see and do within easy driving distance. Would definitely recommend.

Self catering. Host supplied toilet roll and tea and coffee and milk and biscuits for our arrival. Also towels and bed linen included.
Good spot for visiting west Norfolk.
Peaceful and quiet and close to nature, but also places where youngsters could go in evenings and play pool
People friendly.
I shared a double bed with my daughter and she kicked a lot!

Lovely clean and very homely. Very well thought out and has everything you need. We was most impressed when we was told the grass you see in front of the cottage leads to a bridge that then leads to miles of private land that you have full use of. Absolutely perfect for the dogs, with a shallow river for our springer to explore and safe for our older partially sighted dog to safely run off lead with no worries. The cottage was absolutely perfect. My teenagers were also so impressed with the WiFi, they said it was better than at home. I would 100% recommend this cottage to anyone.
Everything was perfect, nothing at all I would change.

Nothing, it was all lovely from the surroundings outside to the cottage inside, everything was perfect for us.

Beautiful cottage in a quiet pocket of what can only be described as stunning surroundings. Our family stayed for the week and wanted for nothing. Beryl is the perfect host with miles of land to wander around and fish on. The cottage itself is comfortable and clean and spacious with everything you need to make the stay as comfortable and entertaining as possible. We are booking again for next year.

Peaceful location. Nice host, WiFi, super clean and very practical.
It was a heat wave which was beyond anyone’s control. Many fans were provided which sorted the problem as best anyone could given the unusual weather. The outside was excellent for cooling off.

Clean, comfortable and in the countryside.
Nothing.
