It was a very nice place. The owners are very nice. Breakfast was really great. The owner offered us a ride to the port because we had to be there very early.

The owners/staff in Casa Paliton were brilliant- very friendly and professional. The food was also very good
The room we stayed in was very run down and appeared to have mould on the ceiling. The shower didn’t work properly for us either, we had to dangle the shower head to get any water out of it and if frequently changed from extremely hot to cold water

The staff here really made our stay, they were so friendly and helpful! Good location, beautiful setting, nice for a few days of relaxation. Recommend going to Tubod Beach and Cambugahay Falls (you can hire a motorbike from the hotel). Had a nice supper and good breakfast at the hotel and a great pizza down the road. Also nice bar on Paliton beach where you can get a drink and watch the sunset.
Only minor downside is that the shower is only a trickle, but that's to be expected on an island... Didn't bother us, but worth noting.

Very helpful and nice staff. I got sick with high fever and the owner (?) was very helpful, gave me some medicine, cooked me a rice soup (for which she wouldn't accept payment) and gave me some numbers I could call if I felt worse at night. I was offered a ride to a doctor. This was very reassuring, because I traveled alone and wasn't sure if I needed help late at night due to surprisingly high fever.
I had the budget room and it's bathroom is very small and uncomfortable:
-The sink is too close directly in front of the toilet which makes it difficult to sit straight on the pot.
-The toilet lid didn't stay up.
-After a shower everything is wet.

Affordable rates. Clean room.
No TV. Also we have a creepy experience. After we packed our bags, my partner went to their resto to order breakfast for us. So I am left alone in the room. As was brushing my teeth, I saw in the mirror that someone walk past behind the cr door, I thought it was my partner. But when I checked he is not there and there were mud on the floor. I find it odd but I just brushed it of and left the room since I was in a hurry for our tour. Then when my partner returned to the room to get the bags he also saw mud beside the bed. We are not sure how did it happened coz our room was locked all the time. 😕

Lovely big room, clean and comfortable. Hot shower and decent water pressure. Good wifi.
Pool was pretty dirty and filter not running. Included breakfast but everything was cold, like it had been prepared the night before and no choices given.

The rooms were exactly as advertised. However, we thought the toilet could be improved. It was very small and doesn't flush. It felt like it was going to get broken the moment you sit down. Haha! But overall, the location was awesome, it was breezy, and surrounded by gardens. Plus, the staff were very kind and friendly. Would definitely consider staying again in the future!
The toilet bowl was really small and didn't have a flush function.

Friendly staff. Breakfast is good.
The room is nowhere the promised 16m2, rather 8m2. Far too tiny
The sound of the airconditioner of the neightbour kept me awake all night.
Sometimes there is no running water. And the toilet is so small, it's impossible to use it.

Big room with good aircon & WiFi worked well the whole time, friendly staff , small shop next door and across the road for some drinks or snacks etc.
Location was ok , 15 mins walk to paliton & little Boracay beach ... A couple of restaurants close by but really would be better to have a scooter. (I don't ride them so was a little far to walk to busier part of the town with the cheaper local eateries I liked )
Would have been nice if someone had sweeped inside and outside the room as it got pretty dirty with sand and some mud after heavy rain & changed the bin in bathroom..
Shower pressure was really bad too, but was hot water which was nice
