The lodge was very comfortable and spacious . Me , my husband and two friends were attending a wedding nearby and the 3 bedrooms , 2 bathroom set up was ideal . We had loads of space to get ready and chill before and after the wedding far better than going to a hotel. The kitchen also very big and well equipped
Shower head in ensuite doesn't seem to fit properly had to hold to rinse hair.

I loved this lodge it was absolutely stunning and so comfortable, The girls had there own room and the room sizes was beneficial for all there must haves!! my favourite find was the cupboard in the main room which we called Narnia as it went from a walk in wardrobe to a shower room!! Tracey was lovely we exchanged a few messages over the course of our stay just to thank her for such a beautiful opportunity in such a lovely place couldn't recommend it enough!!! 10/10.
The only thing i don't like is i cant rebook as its fully booked for a while!! :(

lodge itself was big, close to park facilities,
upon arrival we had to purchase passes to use the facilities at a cost of £27.95 for adult and £22.95 for children over 3yrs this cost us £107.95, this should be added to the advert. The lodge is lovely but very cluttered and needed a good clean, everywhere was covered in a layer of dust and the owners stuff was everywhere including tooth brushes in bathrooms, we had to wash everything up before using and clean bath rooms. The worst thing for us was that the property stunk of cigarette smoke, even in the bedrooms, there was evidence of smoking in every room, the twin room was the worst and this is where my grandchildren where supposed to sleep, there was cigarette burns on the carpet and even with the windows open and spraying freshener we couldn’t get rid of the smell. This to me is not acceptable for a rental property. The remote controls for the TV, one was missing the other needed batteries, fortunately my tech savvy daughter was able to use her phone as a remote for the main TV. I could
go on with the issues we had but feel I have just highlighted the worst. This wasn’t a cheap weekend away and not what I would expect for £450 for 3 nights.

The caravan was great, def the biggest we have stayed in and had all the amenities we could ask for. Netflix in the front room wasn't working but that was only a very minor gripe. Beds were comfy, showers great, no issues. Also, the evening entertainment was very good
Having to pay nearly £150 for the entertainment passes (2 adults, 3 kids) to allow us to be able to book swimming or enter the complex in the evening on top of the cost of the caravan was a surprise. I may have missed it but if its not noted, it should def be added as part of the description. Fish and chip shop didn't have fish or take card on the one night we tried to eat there. Getting a drink in the evening from the bar was either 2 mins or 22 mins wait and while there is an app to order to table, there was no guarantee you can get one as the complex is no where big enough for the amount of people it catered for. Also the caravan smelt a little of smoke when we arrived but was gone by the time we had left.

There was no hot water or heating. It kept going on and off. The lady inchange Linda was disgusting Tracy or Linda
Wasn't helpful at at all her customer service was atrocious . Instead of getting a qualified plummer or electrician she sent a resident to do fix it.
Customer service, the fact we had hot water and heating going off on and off. I have two small children one is vulnerable. We had to sleep in the living room and put on the electric heater to keep warm. The staff is disgusting this woman was vile and rude, not very accommodating even we asked to change lodges

Lodge was perfect! Had all the amenities you need, very spacious & very clean. Nice touch having a Christmas tree 🎄😀
The owner herself was very understanding as unfortunately workmen on site had cut into a gas pipe & then the electricity! No hot water or heating! Staff at highfields park were not helpful.

Location of van and plenty of room.
Master bedroom bed dipped in middle, kitchen could have been cleaner and better utensils.

We were in Clacton for a family wedding and hired this lodge. On arrival it was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend. We were surprised how spacious and well looked after it was. There was ample space for 5 adults and 2 children to get ready for the wedding and with 2 bathrooms (1 x on-suite with big shower from the master bedroom and the other seperate family bathroom with big shower) this was a huge bonus. The owner could not have been more helpful, even sending us a message wishing us well for the wedding day, she was so thoughtful. We were all very comfortable for our weekend stay with 3 bedrooms (2 x double and 1 x with 2 full size single beds) there is also a sofa bed in the huge open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. This lodge is also positioned near all amenities, you couldnt ask for more. Parking is also right outside the lodge.
HIGHLY recommended, we will be booking again!

So comfortable and roomy. Everything you need for a break. wish we had stayed longer but we were only staying over 2 nights for my son's wedding. The facilities are great and had a lovely meal in the club house. The whole place kept immaculate, not one but of paper anywhere.
Would be nice to be able to get breakfast there at 8 instead of the 9 am opening but you are on holiday so ...

Good location to Clacton.
Not a lot to do onsite for children. Had to have passes for swimming pool, entertainment. I feel if they want you to stay onsite they need to give you access to everything without these

Such a lovely lodge, everything you need and very spacious and comfortable. The location was very good. So nice to find nice dog friendly accommodation that doesn't smell like dog. Would love to have booked for the summer holidays. The bathroom had a smell and there was no chairs at the dining table but this wasn't a massive issue due to only staying a couple of nights.
Thank you 🙂

Nice friendly staff, amazing location
Didn't expect a billof £140 for entertainment passes, this price is very high and it doesn't change if your there a week or 2 days

- The place was so homely
- Communication from the owner were quick and the gentleman who came at check out was really friendly
- It was spacious everywhere and catered well for our family
- The highchair and cot extras were lovely (wish I'd known as I wouldn't have taken my own)
- Location of the Lodge with parking right outside was perfect, close to the entertainment centre and not as noisy as I thought.
- Extras like a good hair dryer, iron/board, hoover etc were really handy.
- Great value for money for our stay.
Thank you so much for a lovely stay 😁
- It wasn't spotlessly clean
- It was tired in places - freezer drawers broken; broken bathroom bin; broken light fittings; etc
- It smelt of dog 🐶 (mostly in the evenings)
- Being told to check out by 10am, when it stated 10.30 on the app and on our booking confirmation.

The caravan was clean and spacious, the host was very informative and communication and directions were spot on.
Couldn't figure out how to turn on the heating as it was a cold weekend, the showers were very hot and regardless of which way the temperature was turned it was still very hot.
