We had such a great stay here! The hosts are really friendly and warm people. We had a lovely sundowner with Hentie. We loved the personal stories he told us. Dinner was delicious and great value for money. The surroundings are so wonderful and calm. We also really enjoyed the hikes we did on the farm.

Dusche hatte kaum Wasserdruck!

Kalahari Guest Farm surpassed my expectations. I picked it mainly for the convenient price and its location within the beautiful red sand dunes. Great and very personal service, the really wonderful and friendly owners and staff, good food and wine, and the setting in this beautiful landscape was exceptional. The rooms are each set in individual houses, clean, spacious, equipped with everything necessary. Including kitchen or braaï… And while you sit on your own small terrace, or at the pool or restaurant area, wild animals like giraffes or zebras are peacefully strolling around - just a few meters away…

Struttura bellissima a contatto con la natura. Staff molto gentile, cibo molto buono.

-Sehr leckeres Abendessen (bestes Essen unserer Reise!)

The room we had was very clean and convenient (there is a little kitchen and fridge so you can cook lunch on your own). Bed was comfortable. You can spot game (kudu, eland, giraffe, zebra) from your own terrace. Booking the sunset drive is a must! You go around the farm with Hentie on the back of his 4x4 and he explains you everything you need to know about his farm animals and game that you will see on his land. Watching the sunset on top of one of the Kalahari dunes was breathtaking. Dinner was one of the best we had in Namibia ! Hentie and Louise as well as the staff are really friendly and you should definitely book a stay there when visiting Kalahari. It is also the best value for money we had when travelling in the country.
Thank you !

Location, very friendly staff, organized sun downer tour (300$ per Person with snacks and a drink included), great dinner and breakfast, animals (like giraffe and zebra) walking around
nothing, only for information: there is no lunch and no shops around, so bring your food if you want to eat something around lunch time

This place is awesome! Booked randomly on same day as I had time to drive 3-4 hours North before darkness, and we were very surprised when we arrived. When you book a night inside a farm you think about goats and sheep, but here we had zerbas, giraffes and antilopes walking around our house :)
Hots are very kind and helpful. We regret we could not stay here longer :)

Louise and Hentie are fantastic hosts who could not do enough for us during our stay. If you have the chance join a sundowner drive for a great way to see the farm

A very nice and relaxing guest farm in the Kalahari Desert. The owners are both very helpful and happy to answer any questions you may have about life on the farm. Recommended: the Sundowner Tour with the off-road vehicle over the farm area.

Jansen Kalahari Guest Farm is a privately run farm that is simple and great value for money. The bungalows are extremely well equipped and very comfortable. The game enclosure is small, but still very nice, and you can watch the wildlife from the veranda. The hosts, Hentie and Louise, are very friendly and so is Bianca, the kitchen fairy. Especially recommended is the sundowner, stopping on the dune where appetisers are served with drinks on tablecloths. And the windows are so clean that I walked right into them. :-)

Friendly owners
Semi-tame but shy elands, zebras, giraffes, springbokkies, and a kudu are roaming the enclosure in which the chalets are located and which can be watched from your terrace. Baboon-free area.
Fully equipped self-catering chalet with all comforts needed (comfy bed, a/c, braai area, warm water in the shower, cosy towels). Tasty breakfast and dinner at the retaurant area. Neat, clean and well-kept trees, flowers and small green grass area around the pool.
We took a farm drive for sundown which was a great experience thanks to the interesting explanations of the owner, the great landscape and wildlife and the delicious snacks from the kitchen.

Great location and facility and peaceful with understanding of African environment survival and maintenance of the rural farming ....great and a must for all visitors to Africa to experience.
Water pressure to low shower this not ideal and water was lukewarm to cold. Great shower will raise this facility to excellent.

Beautiful area where you can walk around. Very good dinner and breakfast. Very friendly hosts. Also the chalets are big, comfortable and well equipped.
WiFi can be a bit difficult at times (Probably depending on the location of the chalet).

Great Place to stay in the Kalahari. The owners are really friendly and at the Sundowner Drive they showed us their farm. It was really interesting. The view from the Dune for Sunset was just amazing. The room was perfect. It was a little House with a kitchen. Everything was really clean and well equipped. The Diner they served us was so delicious! We can really recommend to stay there.
Everything was great.
