The location was great
Although it was relatively clean the furniture wasn’t and needed a spring clean
4.5
Great location! Right on the beach. Close to the carpark so easy with suitcases and stuff.
Pillows need replacing. Rock hard...
4.5
Location was excellent. All be it a bit of a walk from the resort.
Well appointed comfortable lodging.
Don't stay here if stairs are a problem. The unit is virtually vertical.
We weren't told of a cruise ship and it dropped 3000 people on the confined space that is the resort. Deliberately tried to avoid school holidays but there were kids everywhere.
Ferry is a bit expensive.
4.5
Great apartment and the view is exceptional.
Everything made easy for us by the hosts and truly felt comfortable at all times!
We will be back
Wi-Fi strength and TV needs further consideration although we didn’t have to use it much.

This was a privately owned apartment not ran by Tangalooma island resort
Beach veiws, private garage, full size kitchen, plenty of room for the whole family, exploring the whole island with 4wd
Few lights need changing blown globes, everything else was perfect 👌

Everything! The location the view, especially watching the dolphin feeding from our balcony! The layout of the unit and the kids loved the spa bath. Great hosts, thanks again Colleen, we will definitely recommend staying here.

Location was great

Amazing views and super easy to get around
I wouldn’t say I didn’t like but for families going to the island be prepared to hot spot for internet or buy the largest hotel wifi package, that’s not the room or hotel it’s just how it is on the island no matter where you stay

property was wonderful, and perfectly located
two single beds were really hard

The view from our villa was stunning and the beach amazing. We loved Moreton island.
The pictures were great in the apartment and we loved having 2 great balconies! The beds were comfy too.
It was great being able to leave our cases at reception early before the ferry left.
The key was difficult to use as it was slightly bent and took a while to lock and unlock.
It would have been helpful if we were told our cases could take an hour to be delivered as took a while to find them in a locker quite away from our villa.

Location
Bit old and tired look

The rooms were spacious and well set out. The beds were comfortable with nice linen. The kitchen had everything we needed.
Books and boardgames provided were a added bonus.
The fly screen on the front sliding door was ripped and we couldn't leave the glass door open as no way to keep bugs out.
3.5
Location is great. Spacious villa. Views from the villa are spectacular. Air-conditioning was working well and it was clean. Provided enough furniture, dishes and cutlery. Fridge good size. Beds are spacious and comfortable.
Needs to be cleaner. Bed sheets are clean but duna cover that is put over clean sheets is dirty. A lot of dust in many places. Lounge is dirty, we used clean sheets to cover it so we can sit. Wicker furniture is old and dirty. General cleaning of windows, doors, screens etc needs to be done more often. Seems like poor maintenance. Front sliding screen door is not working properly. Need to provide more rubbish bags, paper towels, wet wipes etc.

The amount of fridge space was excellent
View was amazing
Beach access was perfect
Direct access to villa when carrying loads using trolleys had to walk extra distance - very minor really

Awesome views from the balcony

Location was perfect. The villa had everything we needed for our family holiday & plenty of space for us all. Would definitely stay again.

Great family destination. Wonderful activities.
No dishwasher, 80's furniture. Rear of property near dryer needed tidying badly. An update from the 80's would be good. But we still had a great time.
1.5
Location was nice.
It shouldn't be called a villa. It's an outdated, small town home with cheesy cheap 80s furniture.
The pillows and doonas were so old they actually smelled bad. Really sad they can run this for this cost.

Great view, beach feel inside the apartment
hot water took ages to heat up. ( but who cares it’s amazing)

villa 49 was amazing we will definitely be staying at this one again and recommending to family and friends this is a privately owned property and it definitely showed how much more care goes in to make your stay stress free this place literally had everything you needed all you have to is turn up and just bring your food. and it has a great sized bbq on the patio and great views while you are cooking. it’s and easy location to beach and pools and activities on the island. Tony/Anne your place is amazing we will definitely be coming back and you guys keep your place nice and clean
nothing negative from us we loved it

amazing little stay away from home, and I also loved the fact that u guys had little convenient things there that we may have forgotten, like salt an pepper, clothes washing powder etc loved that u guys had that it helped so much an we appreciate it
I wouldn’t say didn’t like.. but if any feedback that could help if you like, the pans definately need an upgrade as they aren’t non stick anymore, the shower door is very loud opening an closing..
bedding wise a king would’ve been lovely but that’s being picky haha was still comfy!
personally, i’d probably request a double an 2 singles next time for the kids as the bunks I feel are abit to squishy for the older teenagers…. that’s all I got haha
