Wildlife and the beach
Bush track had no trail markings and a lot of debris. Access to the track is overgrown and not visible from the beach.

The location was perfect. The room, the staff were great, the beach was so close and so extremely beautiful.. i loved that the bags are delivered to your room and taken from the room to the ferry as well..great service and beautiful paradise
The prices for the breakfast buffet. Especially kids..kids under 10 should be way cheaper seeminf they mostlu only eat a small plate of food..

After working 20 years in hospitality. And I’ve been to Bali Gigi island very small . Tangalooma needs more independence competition price rather just all in 1 roof . And more optional . Staff is great . Helpful. Not idea to buy food there . Pizza dough is not fresh . Need more availability to walk around the island .
The photo shows only one property but there is actually more than 1

Staff were very friendly and hard working. The room was clean and well equipped. Facilities adequate. Our luggage was delivered quickly and picked up on time.
The only negative I have is that the Beach BBQ is not upto scratch with meals in general. The meals served are below par. Wedding function meal was well prepared and good quality, but the Beach BBQ let’s the resort down.

You really feel like you’re on a tropical island, but only an hour from Brisbane. Amazing view from our room.
Not a lot of entertainment during off peak period. No night activities and no live music on the Friday.
Heated pool would be great, and a better/bigger playground.

Great activities such as dolphin feeding, ATV and snorkelling were the highlights. Beach itself was very clean and crystal clear waters. Staff were friendly too
Need more restaurants and variety. Price of food was really expensive and quality was below average. Need more pools at the resort and an adult only pool.

Room - bed was very comfortable, coffee satchels were not nice. There was a good range of food at the breakfast buffet, but closed a bit early. I think 10:30am would be a better time as when you are on holidays you don’t want to have to rush. Food was pretty good at both the restaurant and the cafes.
The breakfast buffet finished a little early. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best, but that wasn’t the resorts fault.

Very enjoyable stay.
Staff could have assisted more upon arrival with regards to advising location of decent trolley to move items from vehicle to room which is a reasonable distance.

Our room was comfy and clean but was tucked away at the back of the building. Would of preferred front sea facing room
Location of our room

Loved that the beds were all made up ready, such a blessing! Loved the easy access of ground level and general condition of the apartment was great, check in process was easy and luggage was at the door within 10 minutes of arrival, fantastic service!
The kettle leaks all over bench if water is left in it when on and off
The dining table glass is not attached and moves at the slightest touch
Both safety items needing attention for future guests

Lovely family destination. Island was gorgeous. Lots to see and do.
Staff not as friendly as other tourist destinations.
More food options (not deep fried) would be great.

멋진 자연 환경과 동물들. 깔끔한 숙소와 편의 시설. 친절한 리조트 직원들.

Renovated room was lovely with a fantastic view
The restaurant options were limited and a little dated.
The restaurant grounds are amazing but some parts of the buildings need major works.

Organisation of Tangalooma exceptional.
Staff all very friendly. Deluxe accommodation was very pleasant with balcony and view of the beach.
Comfortable bed with lovely bathroom.
Stayed in Deluxe accommodation and wished that there had have been some cutlery, plates etc. There was tea making facilities only, which were appreciated.
We could have had one or two breakfasts on the balcony, but not to be.

This was great destination the room was amazing with great ocean views. Staff very friendly. The ladies in the coffee shop made great coffees and bar staff extremely friendly.
The Asian restaurant we got take away food didn’t have much flavour over priced. The manager was rude and watching him didn’t treat staff well. Telling us food would be ready in 20mins for takeaway and waited over a hour.

Nice and relaxing

Location and staff were brilliant. Loads of activities which are all amazing.
1. 2 adults 2 nights, 2 towels for entire stay for shower and have to pay for additional towels. 4 would be reasonable when paying 600 plus I would have thought.
2. Room was riddled in ants - staff responded but seemed like it was reoccurring, there was no shock when told.
3. Beware! you only get 200mb per day if you use the WiFi make sure you have an unlimited data plan on your phone.

Beautiful island, Beautiful rooms nice and clean, friendly staff.
Would have liked room to have microwave and toaster.

Beautiful Island. Great experience snorkelling the wrecks but current was a little scary. However the lovely guy at the scuba shop, advised the safest times and we hired a tinny which made the experience so much better.
More choices to eat would have been better but fine for the period we spent on the Island.

Given wrong time to be at bus for departure for island adventure. Felt very stressed and last person to be on bus is not a good state.

Loved the cocktails with dinner.
Would have liked Fresh bath towels each day.

it has everything
food options were limited. dining area was too basic for the price we pay.
the round island bus tour didn’t run on weekends, which is a real bummer!!!

Location was absolutely beautiful
The resort was very dated and tired. The food was very substanded. The outdoor bbq food option outside the Cafe was nice.

Location and place are magical.Very nice and helpful staff. Cathy from reception is amazing. And other staffembers working at reception are very helpful.
Snorkling in the wreks and dolphin feeding are the best.
Food....simply just terrible.
Breakfast so bad . Not a single fresh veggis is avaliable, no greens..plus staff members working in the restourant just trying to hide from customers. Fish and chips place are poorly managed as well, and it's hard to eat junk food only. Chinese restourant just very baaad, no dalads avaliable food+servise is bad.
No comunication between diferent parts of hotel, receptionist trying to be helpful but obviously they did't have comunication with other teams.

Friendly staff and great food with enough variety on offer. Great kitchen facilities including a big fridge in the family room.
Stayed in the family room near the pool side, they are a little outdated with the furnishings and bedding. We had a bush outside our room for a bit of privacy, but a lot of other garden view rooms don't have this amd are quite open to the public for viewing, so dont forget to close the blinds when getting dressed!

it has a good location
not very clean, don't see much value for the money
2.0
the location and view is amazing as well as the many activities.
ok there is a very very long list of the issues;
started with Car Parking at the wharf to get onto the ferry is horrendous
room was extremely rundown, tired and dirty.
Fridge was fully iced up
Split A/C filter absolutely disgusting - thick with dirt - my husband who is a qualified a/c tech had to clean them.
moved my side table closer to the bed and there was a hole in the wall and rubbish under the drawers.
the springs in the bed pinged whenever you moved
No housekeeping at all - we had to use the same bathroom towels for 4 days - when l raised the issue with reception l was told that housekeeping isn’t included in our room - however l have read all my booking docs and not once is this stated anywhere - no housekeeping in a resort setting is unheard of. actually l have never stayed anywhere (unless Airbnb or stayz) that has not had housekeeping.
No microwave, no dishwashing detergent to wash coffee cups or basic items such as plates and cutlery. There was a kettle 🙏
2 cruise ships came in on 2 separate days inundating the island to a point that it is impossible to enjoy. absolutely no priority given to staying guests in regards to lines for drinks and food. taking 45 mins sometimes to get a drink. It should be advised at the time of booking that cruise ships will be attending the island so you can have a choice to book another time.
Food choice and quality just awful.
there should be a boat exclusion zone between the beach and the ship wrecks to allow for safe access for snorkelers we tried to swim out there and it was just to many boats pulling in and extremely dangerous.

Everything was beyond our expectations! I would definitely recommend the place to everyone that wants to get a way and have fun, but be romantic at the same time! You are never stuck for something to do!
I think the place could have more restaurants, bars etc. It was a little frustrating lining up to get a drink or to get food.

Quad bikes
Fishing tour. Not long enough. Crowded around the wrecks and the swell made it impossible to feel a bite.

clean and tidy. seemed well maintained.
not enough places to eat

The snorkel tour around the wrecks was amazing, although it would have been nice to have a bit more time in the water.
It's a very beautiful place with lots to do. We were only there for two nights, so we will be back for longer next time to do the bus tour, snorkel again and parasailing. Amazing views from the unit.
Probably best to book your activities and dinner reservations before you go. The restaurant was booked out on the night we went and it was my birthday, so that was a bit disappointing but we had a lovely meal at the Beach BBQ.
We would have preferred a balcony unit. I didn't realise our accommodation didn't have a balcony when I booked it.
Next time.
