The Hostel is close to the Andador Guadalupe with many restaurants. The facilities were kept quite clean. The bed was comfortable.
I always make sure I book a room with a window to let some fresh air in, and the pictures looked like all the rooms had windows. As you cannot select your actual room when booking on this platform, we got the worst room in the whole place that felt like a damp cave. It had no window and was small and smelly. There are air fresheners plugged into outlets in the common areas to artificially cover the damp smell of the place. When we had breakfast in the patio, the cleaning lady without warning emptied a bucket of stinking sewage water over the whole patio that ran under our table so we had to get up. There are only 2 shared bathrooms, one of which (the outdoors one) has shrieking rats running above you in its ceiling day and night. I'm not easily spooked, but this was a bit much. When I told the host he indicated that this was normal as they put their garbage between the kitchen and bathroom. We couldn't even leave the door to our room cracked for some airflow as I was concerned that rats could enter. Yes, this place is cheap, but there are way nicer places in the same price range in San Cris.

The room was big, pretty and clean, nice terrace and well equipped kitchen. The position was okay, not so far from the center
The room and the common areas were really really cold! Same temperature as outside..even less sometimes. Only one shared bathroom for many rooms (there's another bathroom outside but not equipped and with no shower).
Our experience with the reception was disappointing; they didn't welcome us at check-in, leaving us waiting outside in the dark and cold for an extended period. The receptionist is consistently absent, and there is no assistance available. Messages sent via WhatsApp receive delayed or no responses. Additionally, we faced a lack of water in the bathroom, with no resolution from the reception until the evening. I travel a lot, but I've never experienced such disorganized and inattentive reception before.

Es la segunda vez que llego ahí, me encanta la decoración todo el lugar es muy bonito con sus detalles en cada espacio,
y la habitación es muy bonita, para mi siguiente vez que visite San Cristobal , solo pienso en este lugar para alojarme.

The location is really close to the Center. Dario is super nice and helpful.
The shared bathroom smells quite mouldy.

We LOVED Corazon!
We felt welcome from the first second. It feels like you are coming home. The host is very helpful and kind. The place allows you to find peace and calm and settle in quickly. Everything worked perfectly (WiFi, hot water in shower, coffee whenever you like, drinking water, garden free to use,…) 🪷
We will 100% be back and would recommend everyone to stay here who is looking for a calm, clean and private accommodation in the Heart of San Cristobal.
THANK YOU!
I can only think of one recommendation: to leave instructions of how to use the shower. People were confused how to get the hot water working and sometimes there was some water on the floor because people didn’t understand how to drain the shower. Besides that everything was perfect 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

El trato cercano del chico y su flexibilidad
Algo que no tiene que ver con el hotel es que íbamos con un niño y cuando lloraba creo que los demás huéspedes pueden escuchar y molestar. Pero era algo nuestro

The owner was very welcoming and incredibly forthcoming!
It’s not very private if multiple rooms are occupied and you can hear everything that is being said in the hallway which can be a little unpleasant especially if you’re trying to sleep early. But otherwise no complaints:)

Clean place. Cozy and beautiful .

The place was very cleran and the location was very close to the main downtown area.
There is no heat in this building. Had to wear sweat pants and swaet shirt with a couple of blankets on and it still was cold. The fitted sheet would pull off the corners when you would turn from one side to sleep on to another.

The woman running the place is very friendly and informative. The place is beautiful and the location is quite good, not in the centre but close by and more quiet. The kitchen was very big with plenty of cooking supplies.
There was only one shower so sometimes you have to wait a while. Hard to meet other people there. Rooms are not sound proof so if you’re a couple looking for some more privacy this might not be the place to go.

Rooms were really gorgeous, kitchen was super clean and big - nice for cooking.
Only one shower for the entire hostel, bed sheets kept coming off the bed (too small), very strong perfumed smell everywhere, check-in unclear/slow/waited outside the hostel for 10 min.
A PERFECT place to stay for couples! If you’re a solo traveler/traveling with a friend, be aware that it’s not social at all.
WiFi barely worked.

- Really nice couple that run the place, and the staff are friendly too. Very helpful with advice and tips.
- Great communal kitchen.
- Cool and quirky decor throughout.
- Ideal location a couple of streets away from the main street so it is convenient but also quiet.
- Decent WiFi for streaming/downloading.
- Clean and comfortable.
- Hot shower with good pressure.
Nada.

The room was very clean and cosy, with a huge bed! The location is perfect just one street over from the main street (Real de Guadalupe) with lots of nice bars and restaurants. Host was really helpful with any issues and very friendly.
The WiFi could be quite slow at times.

Great deco and location
Only 1 bathroom and half bath for the whole hostel

the value for where and what it is, is very good. the bed is correct and the rooms are correct as well.
When we arrived there was a strong smell of the sewers in the rooms nearest the street. We mentioned this to the woman working and she gave us a different room that didn’t smell like sewers. For the rest of the time there the smell only was noted in the bathroom.
The wifi was pretty bad, it was slow and wouldn’t work really in the rooms.

the receptionist is amazing!! rooms are clear, comfortable and well designed.
the bathroom is terrible, smells horrible and the water just got hot for one day. internet is bad as well.
3.5
nice little garden in the back of the hostel and nice communal area
the rooms are thin and you can hear anyone entering of leaving the hostel since is one big long ‘hallway’ with rooms on each side.
