Struttura ok, servizi no

La struttura e la posizione buona

Non ci è stato comunicato che la struttura si trova in zona traffico limitato e la sera è impossibile arrivare a meno di un chilometro con l’auto. Inoltre abbiamo pagato un supplemento per il check in fuori orario per scoprire che non c’era nessuno ad aspettarci bensì avevano inserito le chiavi in una box col codice.

Amazing location, lovely resort, very kind staff, perfectly clean and modern apartment in historic building and environment. Highly recommended!

Modern, well appointed, clean, quiet room. Friendly owner and staff. Good location. Included breakfast was greatly appreciated.

Very disappointing experience

Location was excellent

We booked a queen room described in Booking.com as 30sq metres with balcony, view and dressing room. This particular room had a price lower than some of the others that were smaller. Interesting, we were told on arrival that the only room available for us over the two day stay was a back room no balcony no view and very small, so small we could not easily move around the bed or room, I complained and was told quite forcefully “take it or leave it” interesting since cancellation would have meant total payment. We did arrive at about 1 pm to just drop our luggage to find parking. A busy, sunny Sunday, no chance every parking station was full. Why could a space not be pre booked as an option by the provider? Other accomodation providers pre book parking. We finally got back after parking at about 5 pm 4 hours later. Beware the large room you book may be substituted for a smaller room that is advertised as more expensive that has no view a small widow. I want what I book and size is important to me.

Great location in the old town, Ortigia, and such a walkable city.

Location great, though it is a walk from parking (or a 7.5 euro/person taxi ride) to the rooms. Breakfast was fine. Price was great.

It's a part of Italy, I think, that the showers are pretty tiny. This one was bigger than some. Minor issue though.

Italiana Resort Maniace is a friendly, relaxing, and central stay in Ortigia

Location was great! Our breakfasts were very good, traditional, and more than enough. Very personal and private accommodation.

I didn’t like that the glass recycling was dumped outside our window at 5 am. Hard to sleep in on a vacation😊 Otherwise, everything was great!

In our opinion its ideal for summer but not as much for winter. You pay for the prime location

Accomodation is in prime site and very well furnished but no more as its an old converted building with limited faciities as the building remains what it is. Host is very kind, helpful and accomodating

Room is cold and humid and small a/c is unfit to cater for such a large room with such high humidity TV service is weird and keeps playing jokes without even being controlled, goes on and off automatically and many times doesnt take remote orders, reported this to host. Parking is a nightmare. B'fast is a coffee and a croissant and sub contracted to a shop close by

Amazing customer service provided, excellent location and cleanliness. Fabrizio and Katia are amazing and welcoming hosts, they really made us feel at home. Great breakfast selection.

Wifi connection was not very strong throughout the room, probably because the walls are very thick, but was not a massive problem.

Lovely and clean. Great room right in the centre.

As in the centre was noisy till early hours. Breakfast was served at another location which was not the best but got vouchers the next day for a bar close by. Shame room did not have any drink making facilities.

Spacious and clean room in the heart of Ortigia

Due to CoVid restriction, the breakfast was provided by the next door bar, which was flexible to accommodate gluten free dietary requirement. Ilaria was an enthusiast host and met us upon arrival providing also tips for local bars and restaurants that proved to be excellent. Staff is not permanently based at the property but ready available on the phone or text in case of need. The room was very spacious and clean.

Lack of any nearby parking facility - although it's a condition applicable to the whole Ortigia, not directly related to the hotel

Comfort and value in centre of ortigia

Great location within easy walking distance of everything in ortigia. Beautifully comfortable bed, sheets powerful shower great air con, reliable free WiFi and spacious room with small fridge ( but no kettle!)

300 TV channels! And not one in English....not good for a tourist location We were very disappointed that the courtyard in the hotel was not like the photos! It now contains a coveted structure to serve breakfast. Our room had good balcony but no chairs. Could do with 2 small fold up chairs.

Fabulous

Very clean, elegant place to stay, with a very close distance both to the sea and the bay. Nice friendly staff. The owner was at the place 10 minutes after I arrived even if I haven't informed when I'd be. The fridge in the room is a good idea.

Some details could be improved, e.g. the utensils like electric kettle, some glasses, the spoon, fork, knive and the set for cleaning. As there is no kitchen in the building, some of the utensils should be in rooms.
