Nothing, poor location and they provide no help in getting around
It wasn't clean and you sleep on hard floors

Clean and quiet dorms was about all that was good about this property. The shuttle to imori and goyru was helpful. Complementary breakfast was actually decent compared to others I had seen in Japan
Communal showers- like 6 shower heads in a room no privacy what so ever. So far away from everything, at least a 20 minute walk to a combini, A taxi if you can find one is a minimum 2000 yen. The restaurant has a very small menu with no vegetarian options also very overpriced. The bar closes early and has only highball or beer. The common room closes at 8pm so there’s no where to sit with other people. The wifi is shocking in the dorms and you don’t have any phone reception. There is no where to keep your bags in the dorm your suitcase has to sit in the foyer of the accommodation where everyone has access to it including people who can just walk in off the street because there’s no security or even key pass to get into the dorms.

We stayed for 10 nights and liked just about everything:
1)The hotel is close to the slope but of course you can hop on the free shuttle service morning and afternoon;
2) The hotel has a special deal with the local ski rental shop so make sure you grab a discount leaflet from reception. At the end of your rental, you can leave your equipment and the reception will get the rental shop to collect (#convenient);
3) The breakfasts and dinner were really good. The chef made sure to switch up breakfast offerings so there was always something new. He also opened the kitchen earlier than the advertised time of 7.30am which was perfect for everyone wanting to hit the powder slopes as early as possible;
4) The dinner menu should describe every meal as a set rather than a single item as the meals came with a soup, a salad, bowl of rice and lavash;
5) The wood fireplace was lit up every evening in the lounge area for that extra cosy feel after a day of skiing;
6) Free laundry facilities (provided you bring your laundry detergent or buy some from reception)
There could be more dryers in the laundry room as the 2 installed could not keep up with demand.

Note: My stay was in the capsule dormitory room
The common room is very atmospheric and wlecoming. The breakfast was suprisingly thorough with far more options than I expected. The baths are clean and a good way to end the day. Additionally, the hotel provides free shuttles to and from the base of Goryu, which is very convinient.
The luggage space for the capsule room is in the main lobby of the hotel, creating both an eyesore and an inconvenience for those staying in the capsules. The nearest bathrooms to the capsule room are also through the main lobby of the hotel and said bathrooms tend to get very dirty. The hotel provides no refridgerator or food-storage space for the capsule pods, making it difficult to enjoy longer stays. Also, the wifi does not reach the back half of the capsule room, precluding guests from using it when they are in their beds.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff especially Ali and Ganesh.
Great breakfast and dinner! Comfortable clean,and wide capsules, great onsen shower for the aching body after a day of skiing.

Location was good, view at lounge was nice, good onsen
Didn't think the staff were appropriately trained, car park (and side parking) wasn't cleared properly of snow (saw taxis skid), the lounge area was underutilized /not ventilated) due to the excessive smoke from fire place (staff really needs to be trained how to start & maintain the fire). Ended up having breakfast near lobby as smoke was bad. Dry room is large but insufficient hanging rails for jackets, hangers limited. Breakfast place didn't have a rubbish bin - so coffee sachets were left on the serving table with other food. Perhaps put more serving water for guest (saw a lot of heated water flask, but only 2 flask of room temperature water). Ventilation in the room's toilet was poor (hence drying in there was impossible)
The management really needs to invest more back into the property. It's a nice property but when not run well, it's a waste. Hire some locals with the correct approach to ski properties, the poor hospitality knowledge of staff really shows.

Staff was very accommodating. Free shuttle to Goryu ski resort was really convenient. Breakfast was included with the room. Restaurant in the hotel had a small menu but was delicious. The area was quiet and peaceful.
Location doesn’t have many things close by. Convenience store is about 20 minute walk.

The staff were outstanding. They were attentive to our needs and prompt to respond. The night manager helped arrange transportation after check out, going above and beyond by calling multiple taxi companies for our large group.
I missed the part about an extra charge for room cleaning, so be prepared. It wasn’t a big deal for us anyway because we spent most of our time at the ski resort.

The staff were exceptional making sure every part of our stay was exceptional! The shuttle was an awesome part of our stay and the food was delicious
Nothing!

Price
Place feels kinda meh, but then again, it was cheap, so I'd say it's worth it if you don't need anything fancy.

Clean, cheap. I think, it was the most quiet capsule which I ever have stayed. For these price you can also use their hot bath. After skiing it’s especially good. Goryu resort is pretty close from the facility.
Lounge “working hours”. I think, it could be better to keep it open for more wide range of time.

The staff were extremely friendly, and the lounge area is very nice.

- The hotel staff is very helpful and kind. They picked me up even late in the evening. A very helpful service
- The hotel staff also is very kind to drop me and other travelers to the ski resort
- The in hotel public bath is specious and great to relax
- I am staying at the bunk bed and I even get an extra space for storage. Very thoughtful of the hotel
Nothing bad in my experience. All is good.
But if I can suggest a recommendation, perhaps a changing room will be great to help people that stay in the bunk bed.
I ended up using the public bath changing room to change to my ski gear.
Although it works, if there are other people using the public bath, it might disturb them.

Staff were helpful. Very close to the ski resort.
Futon beds were uncomfortable. No variety in the breakfast.
3.9
Friendly staff and accommodating to transport us to the slopes in the mornings
Selection on Breakfast was not varied with limited choice. limited on offering alternatives for allergies

Very pretty and chill.
Drying room is a bit unorganized and not as dry and hot.
Would be better to provide shared fridge for capsule room's customers
3.9
Highly competent and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Shower was hot with strong flow.
Shower curtain is oddly short, meaning taking a shower results in a wet floor.

Very helpful and kind staff

very helpful staff
I think the hotel is heavily understaffed.

The ambiance was nice, everyday for breakfast they would start a fire and play Christmas music during breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.
The hotel description includes hot springs, but there weren’t any at the hotel. There was an onsen nearby, but during our stay it hadn’t opened for the season yet.

Hospitality. Vegetarian breakfast available.

We as family of four stayed for 4 nights at this cozy feel-at-home place in the middle of summer. Warmly welcomed by Australian/ Japanese staff, we felt instantly relaxed like in our own home.
We tried BBQ one night and was very tasty and good with vegetables grown in their garden. We’d like to come back if we go skiing in winter.
If you are very particular about how things should be run in the hotel, then this is not your venue. Please book somewhere else. The staff may communicate to guests in English and not necessarily in Japanese so please be mindful of the circumstances and enjoy the conversations when you get there!

The staff at this lodge were fantastic. The rooms, although outdated, were perfect for our family of 4 and we found them really comfortable. They were a bit hot in the evening as there was no Aircon which would be due to the fact that this is more of a winter accommodation. The breakfast was good and we had a choice of 3 different breakfast options which kept everyone in the family happy. We enjoyed our 5 night stay and thought it was good value compared to other places in the area during the summer season.
The bathrooms at this lodge are probably what let it down. When you take a shower, the water wouldn’t drain properly and would run into the toilet area. This is partly due to the shower curtain being far too short and the fact that there is no separation between the shower and toilet area.
