Very nice host. Total silence - we had a very good rest. Great stop while exploring the Douro Valley.
Well kept room, bathroom. All high quality. The host was very careful not to be cold at night.
We were given valuable folders and notes on what to see in the valley and where to eat.

The owner is a lovely gentleman who greeted us and was very helpful with recommendations. I would highly recommend!

The owner of the house has been super kind.
The room and bathroom are clean.
Beds and pillows are very comfortable.
The location is great, very convenient for exploring Douro valley and vineyard.
The room and bathroom are extremely old and required maintenance.
We preferred to do not take the shower as it was extremely rusty (on the the frame of the shower there are cracked rust everywhere).

This place was absolutely wonderful. Clean, comfortable and lovely. The room was nice, the view was nice, the house and the garden look so great. But nothing impressed me more than the owners. I've been traveling for 2 months now, each night in a different place, and I can say without a doubt that they were the nicest hosts I've encountered so far. Thoughtful, very understanding with some problems I had, so nice and welcoming. They even thought about my breakfast, and because they did not offer breakfast at their place, they recommended me somewhere close where I can go (without me asking). I was very impressed by their niceness.
Also, free and safe parking in the private yard.
I liked everything.

The host was very kind. The rooms were spacious. The place was very clean and it had a home vibe away from home.

Very beautiful house and rooms, good views, calm and quiet atmosphere. There was a big bath, very comfortable beds, free parking.
It was a little cold in a room in the October and it would be nice to have a little closet to hang clothes in.

Very nice, clean, good beds. Big bathroom with hot water, fridge in the room, balcony. There was also a kettle to use in common area. Angaged owner with basic english. Free parking in the property. Recommend to see Magjellans exhibition in Sabrosa!
We booked thru the wbsite, but in the house we learned, that we have to pay additional €9... Bad suprise :(
A little distant from the town (car needed).

Spacious, friendly owner.
Could use some extra blankets or a thicker duvet for the bed.

The location and the view is great. Deus is a wonderful host. Beautiful landscape and easy access, everything is there.
You need a car to get there...but thats not on the lovely host.

Spacious house with a great garden around it, located in 5 minute drive from smaller family wineries. The Owner is very friendly and welcoming, his advice for a nearby restaurant was spot on. Very happy to have found this property and thankful to the host for the accommodation!

Fairly spacious room, with a small balcony to sit on in the evening. Fridge, but no desk. We were met on arrival and told the room we'd booked wasn't ready yet, but we could have a different one upstairs, with the bathroom across the landing. We opted for that, and the bathroom had a bath, which was appreciated. Good value.
Loud honking geese every time we came or went. Bath had no plug. Fair way out of town.
