Clean and enjoyable stay!

I only stayed one night here but I wish I stayed longer! It was a very comfortable guesthouse with a very traditional feel. Plenty of facilities, very nice staff and everything felt clean!

Good location, lovely people but a bit expensive

The location is excellent as it allows to reach the right locations quickly in the morning. The staff is very helpful.

It is a bit pricy for the service provided. The futon mattresses could be a bit more confortarle.

Great price, accommodating staff, quiet place.

Bathroom was common to all guests, as there aren't any in the rooms. Rooms are very simply furnished.

very well located, amazing staff so helpful and nice, accommodation is confortable and clean, nice rooftop and common spaces!

Friendly staff, amazing views from the common areas.

The room was very spacious for four guests and the separating wall was very convenient between 2 sides. Heating and cooling worked very well.

The stairs to negotiate between shared bathroom facilities and the room was a bit inconvenient.

cannot describe how amazing the hostel owner is. we were stranded 15 min away without a running bus and he came and picked us up in his car. truly an amazing person who cares about the hostel guests and it shows through in the quality of the hostel

Very nice facilities, including the room, the common room and the shared shower room and toilet, for which we never had to wait. Great location close to Gora station. But the best part was the staff who helped us book dinners and gave great recommendations, besides being extremely friendly.

Very clean and comfortable guest house, lovely owner who helped us with anything we needed. Convenient location a few minutes from the train station. Modern facilities, even a pool table and vending machine for drinks

Traditional Japanese beds on the floor, which can be a bit hard if you aren't used to them. But definitely worth the experience

The futons were so comfortable! The shower room was so clean, too! The host speaks perfect English and was so helpful. We also really enjoyed playing table tennis!

Gora station, where the guesthouse is located is accessible to tourists places in hakone

The guesthouse is located not far away from the station (GORA station), 2-3 minutes on foot. The manager is very accommodating and friendly.

There aren't too many restaurants.

My staying in this guest house was wonderful, its location is perfect just near Gora station. the staff was so friendly and speaks perfect English. he also gave us good recommendations where to spend our time. The toilet and bath are clean and they provide all the necessary amenities. if I go to hakone again I will definitely consider staying there again. so highly recommended.

Very cosy and comfortable, spotlessly clean, with really nice communal areas. I did not catch the staff member's name but he was really friendly and helpful with recommendations of things to do and places to eat. The location is very close to Gora station, so it is great for exploring the Hakone area.

A happy trip at Hakone

The staff were very friendly and took the initiative to help us with our luggage and share the surrounding information with us. The rooms and toilets are clean and the view from the window is beautiful.

The reception desk is on the third floor, and heavy luggage will be a small hassle
