great location, would happily recommend!

location! close to all places of interest, right in the heart of Cadiz. beds were very comfortable. host very easy to contact and responds fast.

place gets no sun. vacuum cleaner would be helpful, as a mop picks up only so much… and finally, place looks bigger on the photos than it is. also some neighbouring unit is having renovations… noise during day time to be aware of.

OK for a short stay in the old town.

Good position in old town; flat was clean.

Checking-in was difficult - trapped in small, dingy hallway where we had to take selfies of the three of us and sign on-line.We arrived on a Sunday afternoon when shops had closed - it would have been good to have a few tea bags and a small amount of coffee and milk. There was very little info on the city in the flat. It was quite old-fashioned and needed modernising.

Good location, spacious, apartment overall looks good and has got all you need.

We had an issue with heating of the water, it got resolved later however me and my sister had to take shower in cold water and you can imagine how uncomfortable that is. The building is renovated but old so the air doesn't change enough and can feel stuffy. We tried to air it but some windows can't be open for some reason. I would give the apartment better review if the problem with the heating didn't happen.

Weekend stay in Cádiz

The location was perfect in the old part, a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the cathedral and centre. The bed was extremely comfortable and clean. We parked in the train station car park which was very convenient and close by.

The bathroom doesn't have either an extractor fan or opening window. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay very much and Cádiz is a fabulous city.

Nice apartment in central Cadiz

Gades Suite is a very centrally located comfortable apartment in Cadiz. It has a very convenient locking system which you operate with an app on your smartphone. Once you get the app working, you do not need other keys at all. The apartment has two bedrooms of a decent size and a combined space as living room, dining room and the kitchen. The owner seemed like a very helpful person and came to the apartment when we experienced some difficulties checking in with the app. Good value for money.

The owner does not speak a word of English. Instructions for check-in were done entirely by Google Translator and as a result they were quite difficult to follow. If you stay here: first download the app by clicking the link you receive, but do not try to enter any codes into the app directly. Instead click on the link they sent you once more and then the app should work properly. The beds were a bit squeaky and not the most comfortable ones either.

The Internet service, staff and location.

The bad smell when entering through the entrance door to the apartment block. There is an extractor fan in the stairwell which is noisy particularly at night. There is also a mobility scooter and a large smelly bin waiting for you when you step into the apartment hallway, which also makes movmemt difficult when you have luggage. The owner needs to buy new pillows as they are thin and uncomfortable. There is also loose floor tiles that need securing. The sofa needs to be replaced as uncomfortable to sit on.

Dissatisfied, safety and health not to standard.

When we collected the key, the lady confirmed she was having problem with the key. It was an electric lock, controlled by an app on her mobile. Next day we left the apartment for a few hours only to come and have lunch at the apartment. The key did not function and we could not get into the apartment. It was horrible. Image no money, car keys, medication. Everything was inside except our mobiles. We had to ask and make alternative arranges to have lunch with a three year old, go to chemist etc. The apartment was not clean. Very disappointed.

Very good

Location was fantastic. A lovely place to stay.

The shower was difficult to get the water to stay at one temperature. I think the boiler needed attention.
