The brother and sister that own the hotel made us feel so welcome. They own the garden across the street and made sure we got a tour of the garden and potato museum. There is so much rich history and love in this hotel. Breakfast was delicious and at their cafe overlooking the garden. The showers were hot with good pressure and the wifi was excellent. The hotel itself is in the right in the middle of Pisac - very walkable to everything. Can't wait to come back!

This was my favourite place we stayed while in Peru, and we stayed in many lovely small hotels, so that's saying a lot. The building is beautiful and the rooms modern and comfortable, and it's very close to the central square and good restaurants -- and the hosts keep a small botanic garden across the lane. We were given a tour of the garden which included a look in the attached museum of potato and corn varieties. Note that the hosts don't speak much English, but between their English and our Spanish and Google translate, we managed and enjoyed ourselves!
We should have stayed longer, lol!

This hotel was very pretty right in the center of Pisac. Everything was only a 5 min walk away. The brother/sister that ran it were so kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
As in most Peruvian cities, it can get a bit noisy in the morning. The hot water was also on limited supply.

(Note: This is written by Daryl, who was Don's travel companion. Don wasn't ultimately able to make the trip but the booking was made under him).
I came to Peru to hike the Inca trail to Machu Picchu - which was a fabulous experience in its own right. But little did I expect that the hidden gem of the whole trip would be my stay at the Florencio Casa Hacienda, which had been selected at random to simply spend two days to start acclimatizing to altitude.
The courtyard, with its large palm frond, flower beds, and interesting antiques is a serene oasis and I enjoyed relaxing with a book in the sitting area. My room was similarly clean, quaint and cozy.
But the best part was the personal hospitality of the hotel proprietor, Jose. He went out of his way to make me feel at home and we had a lot of fun trying to cut through the language barrier with Google Translate. Jose proudly told me the story of the Hacienda and gave me a personal tour of the property and the adjacent botanical garden - which was absolutely amazing!
On the second morning, having learned that I was an avid birder, Jose cemented our personal bond by excitedly insisting on taking me into the botanical garden again to search for hummingbirds. I was touched and we had fun stalking the elusive visitors together.
I came to the Hacienda thinking it would just be a way stop to my main adventure, but came away having made a genuine human connection and some memories that will not soon be forgotten.
Breakfast options were more limited than what was on the menu. But I attributed that to a consequence of the reduced tourism that was being experienced due to the recent social unrest and it wasn't at all a big deal. The beauty of travel like this is that you just gotta go with the flow!

The Hacienda is amazing. It was built by the owner's Grandfather. 8y is stylish and traditional with excellent decorations. The rooms are very good and comfortable.

Marvelous old hacienda with modernized rooms. near the central plaza with a beautiful botanical garden across the street, most helpful hotelier.

Good breakfast provided at a cafe around the corner that looks into the family botanical garden. The hosts were perhaps the best part, including their dog, who went out of their way to show us around town and their family botanical garden. Wish we had stayed another night. Highly recommend!

Old Hacienda part of the hotel is beautiful and historic - a priviledge to stay at. The rooms in this part of the hotel (suites) are large and comfortable, oozing history and charm, spotlessly clean. The owner, Jose, is engaging and helpful. The botanic gardens are absolutely beautiful and peaceful, with hummingbirds and a long-haired white cat for company. A great base to explore the Valle Sagrado. Breakfasts in the adjoining cafe are good.
Bathrooms need work. Newer part of hotel in a different building that is not old (stick to the suites!).

Everything was extraordinary! The lady owning the place is also a professor of biology and her dad was a botanist so they have an amazing garden with cacti (one 90 years old) and all the beautiful flowers you could imagine and also a little museum. She will give you a personal tour and that was actually the best part of our trip to Pisac. The rooms have a view over this garden and in the background you can see the mountains - it was an amazing view to wake up to!
Showers were hot and the cleaning perfect, and most important, the architecture, an extraordinary work. And ofcourse the service was just something you usually don't get in Peru. I was travelling for two months and when i got to this place I felt like I found home (in a palace) ;)
Thank you so much Rosamaria for making Pisac a memory for life!
Nothing was bad. It was as i said just amazing. They should only get better photos so you can see better from the pictures how nice it is!

Perfect location in centre of town. Pisac is a quiet town and the Casa was a relaxing place to stay, especially in the modern rooms overlooking the botanical garden. The older restored areas help you understand how a colonial family would have lived. Extremely good value for money and Snr Jose and his team looked after us very well. Will revisit for sure.
