Stayed in early May. Great spot to be able to step outside, hear the waves and enjoy the calmness of grazing cows. Overall very functional space to spend a 2-3 days in the area. Super close to Moher cliffs (tip : navigate to the southern parking lot which is only a few minutes away and much cheaper than the main visitor lot).
Only one toilet on ground level whereas both bedrooms are upstairs.
On the same lot of land is a sister cottage, so just be ready to have neighbours very close by.
Closest restaurants or commerce of any sort a few minutes away by car; last kilometer in of access to/from house on unfinished, narrow roads (not an issue for us but maybe for some.).

Amazing views, excellent location, wonderful home, and Brid stayed in regular communication to see how we were getting along. We did the cliff walk from the property all the way to Doolin, stopping at the Cliffs of Moher visitor center for lunch. Some sketchy parts between the Cliffs and Doolin. Would probably turn around at the Cliffs next time. We walked into Liscannor in the evening for dinner and music, about a half hour walk each way. Bacon and Cabbage at Joseph McHugh was amazing! Drove down to Cliffs of Kilkee and Loophead Lighthouse another day, certainly worth the trip. We’ld done the Burren and north Clare on other trips, so mainly went south. This property is an excellent base location for trips up and down County Clare and out to the Aran Islands.
That we couldn’t stay longer.

Beautiful location, away from the crowds and within driving distance to shops. The property was well equipped and had a good layout.
we liked everything, however as big coffee drinkers we missed a coffee machine. additionally a small BBQ would be a nice touch, especially on those warmer, sunny days.

Loved it all. West of Ireland stay at its best.
Bathroom is downstairs but wasn't a problem for our group.

Lovely, well equipped holiday home. Kitchen very well equipped, house cleaned to a very high standard, good quality furnishings. Have stayed in a lot of holiday homes over the years with my husband and kids and I would rank Clahane Shore as one of the top ones I have ever stayed in. Very good wifi signal, throughout the house, complimentary netflix on the tv, lovely hotel quality bedding and towels.
Maybe a security light outside, just it gets very dark at night, and as we arrived in the dark, it took us a few mins to find the key lockbox with just the light from our phones, obviously not a problem if you arrive during the day!

Amazing little modern cottage on the western coast. There is everything you need. Comfortable bed, great couch, etc. You can even walk to the cliffs of Moher (approx. 1h 15min) through the countryside.
Kitchen drawers are a little messy and not really clean.
