Gutes Hotel für ein paar Tage Bangkok

Lage ist Top, Personal hat sich um alle Belange gekümmert, Frühstück war alles da was man braucht

Fehlende Leiter am Pool, der Ein und Ausstieg für ältere Semester erweist sich da eher als schwierig

We enjoyed our stay could have been a great stay with some improvements.

We had a great view of the river , breakfast menu was good and the location was great with good access to transport such as river ferry’s and or bus and taxis. The on site tour desk was great with a English speaking agent which we found helpful. The menu in the restaurant was good with great meals.

Our bed was rock hard and found it difficult to get a good night sleep, the shower head was not adjustable at all and the amount of water was not sufficient to wash out shampoo from your hair.Breakfast was sometimes not hot enough.

schöner Pool, nettes Personal, saubere Unterkunft, gute Lage - viele Restaurants in der Nähe, Königspalast in 20 Minuten und Khao San Road in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet.

Always pleased to visit, always look forward to the next visit.

The staff are helpful and mainly can speak English, the breakfast is very good value. The position is very good, right on the river, interesting to see the varied river traffic. Very close to a river boat station. The road itself is very close to a street market with reasonably priced restaurants. Taxis are always available outside. We have stayed here every time we visit Bangkok. The rooms are fairly basic, but clean and comfortable, all have air-con, in the foyer there is a very helpful, and knowledgable agent named Joe who will arrange visits etc to the many attractions in bangkok.

Nothing to dislike for me.

Prima, basic maar gezellig hotel dichtbij veel gezelligheid

Het hotel ligt dichtbij Khao San Road en andere gezelligheden. Ook dichtbij de pier om met de veerboot je te laten vervoeren. Ligt wel aan een drukke straat maar hebben wij geen last van gehad, terwijl we een kamer aan de straat hadden. Kamers zijn basic maar prima. Ligt aan de rivier en het ontbijt kun je lekker buiten doen met uitzicht op de rivier. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker. Onze kids vonden het ontbijt hier het lekkerst. Personeel is er vriendelijk. Zwembad heerlijk om even in af te koelen. Prima qua formaat met een klein barretje met drinken en eten.

Het is wat ouder allemaal en in de gang bij onze jagers rook het niet echt fris. Maar echt prima basic hotel om te verblijven

Erstes Zimmer hatte Schimmelbefall wir haben dann nach Beschwerde ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, Sauberkeit könnte besser sein

Hotel normalito, de una calidad media. Un poco anticuado. Habitaciones con moqueta ( y olía un poquito). Desayuno bien a secas. Lo mejor del desayuno es que es en la terraza que da al río. Piscina está bien para el calor insoportable de Bangkok

El olor de la moquete del dormitorio. Había colchones en los pasillos del hotel.

Most comfortable bed ever

The location was great, with a lovely pool area next to the river. I booked a river view apartment, which I'd recommend. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly, especially Napasakorn on Reception.

The hotel room is a little dated and maybe could do with a program of updating. That said, everything was clean and worked well, and the bed was the most comfortable on which I have ever slept.

Sicuramente i punti di forza sono la piscina, la vista, la posizione e la colazione.

La camera che ci hanno dato non era quella scelta e pagata poiché doveva essere vista piscina e invece dava sul cavedio. Il wifi si disconnetteva ogni 2 minuti e bisognava costantemente rifare l'accesso, l'aria condizionata non era regolabile, la carta 8n bagno veniva sostituita SOLO se richiesto, niente fornitura d'acqua se non il primo giorno e nel corridoio fuori dalla porta di una stanza il piatto con la cena consumata è rimasto 2 giorni senza che venisse rimosso. Tutte cose assolutamente risolvibili e non tragiche ma per il prezzo pagato c'è decisamente di meglio

The location

Room is very dated, shower sprays water onto the sink due to a wrong shower head fitting, something which could so easily have been fixed. Breakfast is basic WiFi is not easy to access, they have a very dated system

On peut trouver mieux à part si c est le quartier routard qui est recherché

Proche du quartier routard, facile pour trouver de quoi se restaurer. A coté de la rivière et proche des bateaux navette.

Eloigné des centres commerciaux , manque de.place pour installer des transats autour de la piscine.. Accueil réception froid , pas tres souriants et peux.motiver a vous aider si besoin. Petit déjeuner pas tres variés

The rooms smelt old, the bathroom needed maintenance, the rooms were clean but you have to let them know daily to clean which I found inconvenience. Def book a room with a balcony

Gute Ausgangsbasis für Tagesausflüge in und um Bangkok

Die Lage am Flussufer ist großartig. Der nächste Anleger für die Hop-on/Hop-off Boote ist nur 3 Gehminuten entfernt. Zur Kao San Road braucht man zu Fuß etwa 10 Minuten. Das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet im Freien mit Blick auf den Fluss macht Lust auf den Tag. Der Aufpreis für die Zimmer mit Flussblick hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Ich würde das wieder so buchen.

Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bietet nur wenige Einstellmöglichkeiten. Die Bedienung von Klimaanlage und Lampen über die zentrale Bedieneinheit auf dem Nachttisch ist gewöhnungsbedürftig und nicht ganz nach meinem Geschmack.

Great spot good price

Breakfast had good selection, location great. Pool was nice. Rooms comfortable. Bit dated but did us fine for four nights.

Alojamiento antiguo, con falta de mantenimiento. Mal olor en todos lados, el desayuno es muy malo y se acaba mucho antes del horario límite (no reponen lo que se acaba). Toallas viejas. No lo recomiendo

Overall a very good stay and I would return

Excellent location on riverside. Close to hop on off river boat and Khoisan road. Good breakfast in nice surrounding. We also had a lovely evening meal here.

Pool area small and a little crowded at times. Insufficient sun beds.

Gutes Hotel zum Übernachten, wenn man tagsüber unterwegs ist.

- tolle Lage in der Altstadt, man kommt in ca. 20 Min zu Fuß zum Grand Palace und Wat Pho - ist in der Nähe der Khao San Road, hört aber nichts davon - gut erreichbar, man hat immer schnell ein Grab bekommen und der Fähranleger war auch einen Block weiter - Frühstück war solide, aber nichts besonderes

- Man kann kein Toilettenpapier das Klo runterspülen, das sorgt für Verstopfung. - die Zimmer werden nur auf Anfrage gereinigt, das ist gerade was den Mülleimer mit dem benutzten Toilettenpapier angeht, kritisch. - wir mussten 1 Stunde warten, bis wir in unser Zimmer kommen konnten. Das Personal an der Rezeption war insgesamt nicht sehr aufmerksam.

L'hôtel paraissait mieux en photo. Cela fait drôle en arrivant. Mais rapport qualité prix c'est vraiment correct.

New Siam Riverside is a great thai owned hotel & the best place to stay to explore the Bangkok River

We love The New Siam Riverside & have been staying there for the last 10years. Rooms are clean, staff are lovely. Restaurant is cheap & the breakfast is great. Beautiful view of the River & convenient for the river taxi which is cheap 16b & The best way to see Bangkok. We actually stayed here on 3 separate occasions this year!

Close to river, breakfast was good and courtyard and pool area was nice

Decor was a bit tired, the shower although big only had a curtain and the floor sometimes got wet. My wife complained of a damp smell in our room.

A base for a short budget stay in central Bangkok

The hotel is by the riverside with the back patio (for breakfast/cafe) and pool overlooking the river. The breakfast included cereals, salad, fruits, tea/coffee/juices and was plentiful, if guests wanted. The location is near Kauosan Road, which I wanted.

The rooms are old and the aircon is poor. I was unable to control the aircon from my room. The beds are however comfy and everything was clean.

Excellent location, great breakfast, nice rooms and pool!

Location was wonderful! Close to the river and walking distance to so many attractions.

You had to ask for daily room cleaning. Bed was made and towels replaced but not much extra was done.

Rip off downtrodden old mess of a hotel

Breakfast ok

Double bed but they have 5o use 2 bottom sheets to cover the bed - err buy the correct size sheet!! Consequently the sheets ruck up and are very uncomfortable. Bedside control until looks like an extra bought from a junkyard, broken, damaged and useless. Shower trickles out and a shower curtain that raps around you when trying to shower. No way on earth is this down trodden place worth the money. Used to be ok pre covid now it needs to be shut like New Siam 1, which was their first hotel.

Parfait, pour notre prochain séjour nous y allons directement... Hôtel bien situé, chambre spacieuse, propre. Petit déjeuner copieux, super bon ! Personnel très accueillant et serviable. Nous avons vraiment aimé cet endroit.
