Location was brilliant for us. Nice rooms, value for money
Not very sound proff (forgot the rooms were above a pub). Even once pub was closed could hear other peopl up and down stairs from the rooms to smoke. No fault of the owners just not very noise proof

Staff lovely, and everything was very clean in the room.
Kitchen wasn't open, so basic breakfast in a bag.
Wifi didn't reach room.

room was clean, well kept and updated. location was ideal as we had business at a school nearby
the room was a little cold as the windows are older/single glazed. once the heater kicked in it warmed up. it was snowing that night so of course it was colder than usual!
4.0
Clean & comfortable, pleasant atmosphere.
Staff helpful and welcoming.. close to town.
No dedicated parking. But you can park on the road.
No breakfast included in pry.
Could easily be resolved by providing a goody breakfast basket.

Extremely cold room with no central heating just a plug in electric heater. No spare blankets. Thin walls with noisy late in to the night next door.

comfortable bed and bedding and a clean room
abysmal shower

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and the room nicely decorated
The shower room looked nice but the shower was very poor barely reaching tepid. There was a heated towel rail which did not work so the shower room was very cold. I’m the bedroom although the room overall was nice the window frames were rotten. We had hoped to have breakfast there but it seemed that was not possible.

Warm welcome at check in. Friendly and helpful staff.

The room was a decent size.
Friendly staff
£80 for the room, plus an extra £20 for breakfast.
Wardrobe in the room is oversizes as partner has huge bruise on size of leg where high bed leg is a squeeze to get through.
Yes, there is a kettle and tea/coffee facilities, but closes plug means you have to plug it in on the floor.
Chose to pay extra for breakfast, mistake. At £10 each it was terrible. All floating in oil, mushroom could have been squeezed and oil ran out. Toast, not sure it touched the toaster. Bacon hardly cooked, and smoked (which you don’t serve of breakfast)….. do yourself a favour and get some sandwiches and fruit from the local Sainsbury’s just up the road, for £20 you’ll be better off and eat healthier.
4.5
Pleasant and friendly staff. Comfortable and clean room over a pub. A bit of noise from pub later on, but to be expected and I actually quite like that.
