Nice place. Room was stuffy, not much you can do about that. Guy at front desk was friendly.

Lovely staff and hotel. We had a great experience. The breakfast was very good too. And the hotel has a restaurant serving delicious diner.
I liked everything. The rooms are not that big, but good value for money!

Lovely location, very handy for us to visit friends. Excellent breakfast. VERY helpful staff upon arrival (and throughout our stay). No problem with changing our room to suit our needs. Terrace area is really nice with good views. All staff were a credit to the Hotel.
There was nothing "not to like"!!

historic, lovely cozy rooms . staff at reception were very personable and welcoming. I really enjoyed the man who prepared the breakfast! we talked a little at check out. I took his photo and his son works at reception. if he wants to stay in touch he can email me at [email protected]
No pressure.
Cheers,

The kitchen close at 8pm! we could not eat - however the only person who was really nice, was the lady who welcomed us in the evening and organised for us 2 soups and 2 ham and cheese plates (53Euros!) to have something to eat. she was very nice and friendly.
Unacceptable was that the owner raised the price of the suite with garten from 156 to 180 and added the cost of 35euro per each kid, even if we got the same suite with garden view - the owner said that we should complain with booking.com - he does not care!!!

The breakfast was good
The evening meal was exceptional
However what was the most pleasing feature of the hotel was the service. From the receptionist who made me feel welcome and even made the Covid protocol and checks an easy process, to the restaurant staff who took care of my every need. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and I must not forget that there was no language barrier, so my recommendation goes out especially to non German clients also.
Thank you so much for a short but memorable experience

Checking out
Synthetic bedsheets.
Broken shower doors, this was more noticeable because the shower is so small.
Hotel is not part of the castle.
Not being showed to a table when we arrived at breakfast.
Cold eggs, told no when asked for fresh eggs.
Told no when we asked if we could reserve a table for breakfast.
We had to always look for someone when we required assistance, more coffee, hot water for tea etc.
Restaurant was closed, no lunch or evening dinner available.
Value for money, €120 for one night. We have had much better service for half the price in this area.

Large room with a view. Breakfast was ok.
It was somewhat impersonal
