Comfortable, well designed rooms, welcoming and helpful staff, nice eating area with a selection of seating arrangements.
More cushions on the day bed would make it more functional for sitting. We had to ask for more bed pillows to make it usable.

Property was very clean, room was clean. Staff were very friendly.
The parking is a bit ridiculous, but it’s what you get with how it’s built.

This hotel was the prime location for our stay. Close to the Plaza and KU. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. If you want to venture out and don't want to walk defiantly take an Uber so you don't have to find a parking spot on the Plaza.
The selection at the breakfast bar was lacking. The food itself was just ok for a hotel breakfast. I've had better and I've had worse.

Perfect set up and area was nice and homely. Staff was hospitable.Food was fresh.
There was no water and ice that I knew of
4.5
The staff was fantastic. They were welcoming and efficient. The breakfast was very good (typical buffet style but with some "elevated" choices. The location is excellent. A short drive from most of the Kansas City sights and about 4-5 blocks walk to the "Plaza." We spent 2 weeks here while visiting our children. I believe this was our longest stay in a hotel so we were a little apprehensive but this worked out very well. We will definitely stay here again.
I really can't identify any shortfalls for this hotel.

Above and beyond friendly and helpful staff!

I’ve stayed here a few times, it’s always presentable and clean. Staff has been efficient and pleasant. Thank you.
Parking is always a jam and we know not everyone knows how to park so then that further frustrates the parking lot.

Our reservation were at the wrong place. They said they would cancel reservation at no charge but you charged me anyway. NEVER use your site or stay in a Marriott again!!!

Illetta at the breakfast station was phenomenal. She was very attentive and made sure that if any of the items ran out they were replenished.

Rooms were nice, comfortable, and large. Bed was comfy. Super friendly staff, clean hotel throughout, and convenient location to all that Westport has to offer. All staff that we dealt with were friendly, especially the front desk staff.
Other reviews mention parking being an issue. I went in understanding that there was limited selection (a small lot in front of the building and a small garage below), and also that it was going to cost me $15 to park my car. Knowing that, I had absolutely no issues arriving earlier in the evening and securing my spot for the night.

I stayed in a King Suite, and it was incredibly ample and comfortable for one person - there was a couch and living area, a large desk, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The parking garage is not free - it’s $15.00 / night / vehicle, and it’s fairly small. Since I was road tripping cross country, my car was pretty full. I managed to find a spot in the very small basement garage, but would have been very upset otherwise - the listing makes it appear they have ample private parking at no extra charge. I found the last spot.

Paying the 15 dollars to park was a rip-off

Unlike most other hotels the bed was super comfortable and the pillows were amazing I will definitely stay again.
Nothing.

Very comfortable. Nice staff, clean. Nice rooms
Parking area a bit small. Parking a bit pricey for the size.

It is near the Plaza but far enough away to be very quiet. It was extremely clean and the staff was the best I have ever encountered. We also love the layout of the rooms-plenty of space.

Room was clean and big, breakfast was great. Seen a pool, elevator was quick
When we arrived during the day we felt skeptical about parking but front desk assured us that we would have a place we were going to a show that night. When we returned about 1230am the parking gate was dowm with a number to call. I called it and the front desk guy came out said "lot is full" well...great so where do we park? He looked around rather lost said "uhh....go up the hill across the street there is a parking lot park there" i asked if it was over flow parking he said yeah its good. I asked if we would need to pay he said no its free. I jokeingly said "hope we dont get towed" we get to the lot. No signs for the hotel. No signs at all. Felt safe to park. Walked down to the hotel went in for the night. Woke up at 730am for breakfast. Start making my coffee and front desk says. "If anyone is parked in the lot across.the street need to move youe vehical or they will tow it. EXCUSE ME? I Run up get keys and have to run and move my car. I ask front desk why i was told to park there they are not sure. The guy must be "new" i ask if there is parking now she said there "should be if not we will figure it out" why have a space that dosnt accomadate your guests? I get to my car there is a sign that says " PRIVATE LOT NEXT TIME WILL.BE TOWED" its on almost EVERYones car. I get there first move ky car to the hotel. There was one parking spot of me. The remainder would of had the use the "other" option i was put out but had i had to use the "other" option id been very upset. And if my car had been towed. What then?>im from out of town i cant afford somthing like that to happen for a mistske of the over night guy? Big funk up on the hotels part. Next the light that came in under the curtain reflected off the ac unit right at eye level so as soon as the sun came up blinded a wake. That sucked

This is the best hotel stay I’ve experienced. The cleanliness and rooms were on par with a 5 star hotel. Upon arrival, Anthony greeted us with a warm welcome and cold bottles of water. His personality and helpfulness shined as bright as the amenities. I’ll definitely return.

Breakfast was satisfying with many choices - nothing fancy but good. The location was just right for me. Clean and pleasant all around, with a comfortable bed. Very nice front desk staff. The workout room looked great, but I didn't use it because I was dealing with a head cold. Since I ended up staying in and resting two days of my trip, I appreciated the headache remedies and food available for sale in the lobby (canned soup, Lean Cuisine, chips, candy, etc.)
Parking is a little tricky in the lot due to space and angle of spots, and it's hard turning to go down to the lower lot when the lot is full (and no room to back up). I came very close to scraping the side of my rental car and needed two people to help me maneuver out of a tight spot.

The staff and cleanliness of the hotel. Plus the breakfast!!
The temp of the pool. pretty chilly. The water was cloudy.

Location was close to hospital, good eats, Walmart and other great shopping areas.
The incredibly tight parking spaces located up front and in general the small awkward parking garage below. I am pretty small and petite in general but had difficulty getting out the car carefully and uncomfortably not to ding the car next to me.

Comfy bed and bedding. Everything was nice and clean. Breakfast buffet was good too.
Had to pay for parking and they stated the lot closed at midnight…which might be an issue for some.
