Had a great stay at the coach house, sleeps many people (we had 5 guys and felt like we had room for more), was quite clean and comfortable. Tucked away in a secluded spot, didn’t have any issues with noise other than the occasional squeal from the parking garage next door. Chris (owner) and Chris (manager) were really prompt with communication and made sure everything was set up nicely for us. Highly recommend.

This property worked great for us. We had 2 teenage boys and they were excited to have the up-stairs to themselves they could watch TV and not have to watch what the adults were watching. they could go to bed when they wanted and not worry about keeping the adults up.

Owner/property management was excellent. Nice to be next to a Target. Just down the street from a Whole Foods and an excellent ev charger. The property was a great place to stay.

Property was just as described, clean and plenty of space! Location was perfect if you’re thinking of going to a Cubs game! Target literally next door and plenty of restaurants in walking distance! Host was great and even checked in with us during our stay. Would return!

Everything was wonderful except the parking. I’d sent the owner an email 3-4 days before our arrival double checking the parking. He told me there were a couple spaces for the rental, and there was free parking in the garage around the corner. Well the couple of spaces needed a hang tag in which we had to wait in our cars for a couple of hours so they wouldn’t get towed before the owner brought them. And the garage isn’t around the corner and it’s for the residents in the area. DOUBLE CHECK THE PARKING!!! Other than that, I would def rent again

Great to be so close to Wrigley Field. My girls loved it and want to come back. Parking is tricky but not a deal breaker.

The house was clean and perfect for what we needed it for. Nice restaurants and bars within walking distance.

This VRBO was in the perfect location. Parking across the street was very convenient and never a problem. Walking the neighborhood to a local Mexican restaurant was a great way to start our week off and shopping right next door at Target or walking down to Whole Foods couldn't have been better! And our daughter took a daily walk across the street to Petco for her daily dose of playing with the kittens and dreaming of adopting one someday and then back inside Target to get her favorite drink from Starbucks.
The Coach's house was just perfect. With two bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs, as well as a roomy living room with TV, cozy dining table and a kitchen with everything we needed and another huge bedroom with two queen beds upstairs, a pull out sectional sofa and huge living room with TV and another full bathroom upstairs,
It was actually more than just the 3 of us needed. Everything was clean and comfortable.
Local parking tickets were a plus and no problem finding a space right across the street every night.
We signed up for the attractions we wanted to see using City Pass. It was so much cheaper than trying to purchase at the door to some places. Making reservations in advance was the way to go. We picked 5 places and went to 360 Chicago Tilt Deck, Willis Tower Observation Deck (both at night), the Shedd Aquarium, Planetarium and the Field Museum. We also went to see Blue Man Group. We also used Hero Spot to reserve parking. Our stay was fabulous! We will be back!

Had a great experience staying here with friends. Loved that it’s a stand-alone property. Really good location, walkable to lots of restaurants and having Target right next door was convenient. It was nice to have two separate living areas (upstairs and downstairs). Host was very communicative and made check-in/check-out super easy.

Property was in a great neighborhood , it was close to restaurants, shopping, wriggly field and Montose Beach and wildlife area. The owner and property manager checked in to see if we had everything we needed. There was also easily accessible public transportation.

We were in town for just 2 nights. It was a couple parents and their daughters. We were in town for a soccer game. The rental was exactly as described. Chris was in touch from the start and really made sure we had everything we needed. We’d definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The townhome was perfect for 4 adults and 15 -20 walk to Wrigley Field and numerous pubs and restaurants along the way.

Cool little private coach house on the city. Not flashy, but fully functional.

Great location. We were able to walk to a lot and the train was located just a block away. We felt very safe. Loved the area and the unit was great!

The first day we arrived upstairs was hot. went in June so it was hot out side by the next day it was fine no other issues everting was good. Great communication with Chris.

There was confusion upon arrival as to where to park, location of actual rental unit & Use of parking stickers. The unit was behind the address given in a separate building. Had to go through a metal gate on left side of main address then figure out which keypad. And door belonged to unit. In order to unload and load cars had to park in Target lot which is right next door to unit. The furniture had seen better days and cleanliness upon entering didn’t seem to be a priority. We rent from many different sources, including our timeshare, and sadly this time the lack of cleanliness was a turn off.

We had such a terrific time in our house!
So much nicer than a hotel- we could all be together, talking, laughing and having fun without everyone sitting on beds.
This is a great house. We’ll be back, to be sure.
Thanks, Chris, for lending us your place!!

The four of us stayed here very comfortably! Having two levels made it easy for us to spread out when we needed to. Proximity to Target and Whole Foods was very convenient/ideal. Not sure I’d want to squish 10-12 in there, but for 6-8 it would be perfect.

Good location, good walk to Wrigley, but doable. Right next to Target if you need supplies. Nice neighborhood. Nice layout for our group. Property manager helpful and accommodating. My only issue is, you need to fire your cleaning company. For the cleaning fees we paid, the floor and furniture needed to be vacuumed, especially under the beds and under cushions. There was not enough towels for our group. I would also update some of the furniture in the downstairs family room. The "critters" outside weren't really shy. Overall we had a good weekend.

This property worked great for us! It is a little small for 10 people, but we didn't plan to spend much time at the house anyway. The house is cute and clean and had everything we needed. I loved that there was a Target right next door and a Whole Foods just a block away. The property owner was great to work with prior to our trip and was very responsive to my questions. The property manager was wonderful. He replied to my messages very quickly, was there to meet us when we arrived and show us around and explain parking. He made sure we had everything we needed and even brought us more towels and parking passes. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely stay there again if we go back to Chicago.

Target and wholefood are nearby, a few blocks to Brown line station. The only complaint is a little bit noisy due to being close to the metro line.
