Pleasant winter stay
Overall a good experience. Stayed for 5 days to work remotely while our kids competed in ski/snowboard events at Northstar. Property was nice and quiet while we were there (we were there during the week though). Condo is dated, but owners have put in a nice effort to make it comfortable. First issue though, internet is spotty. We were working from there and it was off and on, which was frustrating. Bed downstairs definitely needs an upgrade. A memory foam topper has been put on the mattress, but the bed seems small (other reviews noted this). Burners on range in kitchen weren't working, but once I removed them and put them back, it worked. Range definitely needs an upgrade (didn't use the oven). Lots of pots/pans/utensils and dishes, but only two "normal" coffee cups. Spiral staircase to loft is a little sketchy. If you have small kids, I would be a little worried as the railing spacing is pretty far apart. My son (teen) slept upstairs and said bed was comfortable. Didn't sleep on the fold-out. Nice light up there. Living room is comfortable and nicely decorated, but I would have liked a more comfortable couch to chill on, but it was fine. Loved having a washer/dryer, but wish they had provided at least one load of detergent. Overall though, comfortable place. Lots of nice big windows and light in the space. Would probably stay there again as the price is fair and easy access to Northstar. Biggest issue I would say (for us) was the unreliable internet, but we made it work.

Tiny Condo in Kings Beach
Great location for skiing Northstar. Close to grocery, lake and local restaurants. Tidy and well decorated condo that works well for a small family of 4.

Water issues
I had to call maintenance twice for water problems on two separate occasions, the first resulted in them having to shut off water to the entire house! About 5 hours later a plumber was able to get it taken care of but I really wasn’t able to stay for that time with no water. The second problem the regular maintenance guy was able to fix. But I spent a lot of time on the phone with various customer service people and did not have a great experience at this property. I was told by the local Vacasa manager that I would get a credit of some kind. Not sure if I will get something from Vrbo.
This was my first experience with Vrbo and I am not happy with it.

Quite disappointed with lack of cleanliness.
The kitchen, while small, was nicely appointed with colorful tiles,. etc.

Lake Tahoe vacation
We had a great time. Thank you for sharing your home. We were four adults and it was perfect for us. It was great that it had the balconies to sit outside although several days the smoke didn’t allow us. We felt very secure in the location that most of the time we left the balcony doors open and just locked the screen door to let in the cool air and with the fans that were provided the temperature was comfortable. It met all of our needs. It’s only a mile to the public beach so we were able to just go and sit at the beach in the afternoons and enjoy the breeze. We hope to be back.

Clean and comfortable
The pictures are accurate. The kitchen is well equipped, and the beds are comfortable. There is no AC but we were comfortable with the several fans provided. The circular staircase is fun even for adults; just remember to duck at the top. The 3-story layout and the two deck/balconies provide private spaces when it's time to chill.

Nice condo perfect for our family!

This condo is located in a densely populated condo complex. The complex and the condo itself are a little dated ... but not horrible. The primary complaint for this unit ... especially in the Summer ... is the fact that there is no A/C (which to their credit, is advertised on the listing .... but easy to miss). We arrived in late July and the unit was 85 degrees inside. We opened doors and windows and ran fans ... but unfortunately, the air quality was horrible from local fires so we got to cook and choke at the same time.
The other drawback on this condo is the fact that while it sleeps 5 comfortably (6 if you put someone on the couch), there is only 1 bathroom and it's on the lowest level. If you have kids in the loft (3rd level), they have to climb down 2 sets of stairs to get to the bottom level to use the bathroom ... and with no insulation between 1st and 2nd floors, any walking on the second level reverberates into the master on the bottom level.
All that said, the unit was adequately stocked with necessities and is located about a mile from Kings Beach. Basically, if you plan on staying indoors on your summer vacation and have high expectations of you accommodations, you might want to find a more comfortable property ... but if like most people, you plan to spend time outdoors and only use the condo to crash at night (once it's cooled off), the condo is totally fine.

Nice place, but a few issues with property upon arrival.
Home was very clean and cute. I arrived an hour later than check in and a gentleman was there attempting to put on a closet door. Unfortunately he was unable to do so...Also, when I went to make dinner, I found the stovetop was not working. I called Vacasa for a remedy, and they put in a ticket. The gentleman who attempted to fix the closet came back to fix the stove the next day (leaving me with only one evening to make food on the stove prior to checkout) ...the stove should have been checked to be working prior to arrival. I paid to have a condo vs a hotel because I wanted to cook. Extremely disappointed in how this was handled, requested a partial refund due to not being able to use (the main reason) we rented the home. I was told I would get a follow up from Vacasa. I have yet to get one/follow up/response after check out last week. Not what I would expect from a vacation rental company.

Perfect spot for us!
My 17 year old and I came up to Tahoe for a couple days of skiing and some guy time. This condo was the perfect place for us. It was very clean and well furnished. The treacherous spiral staircase was well marked so as not to cause any damage to our heads and there was a perfect level of entertainment. The beds were a little firm for our style of sleeping, but otherwise this was an ideal stay..

Disappointing
My husband and I booked this place for 4 nights to use as a home base for our honeymoon. When we arrived, the place was not clean. There were dried food bits and strands of hair by the master bed and plastic bags and spray cleaner left on the couch. With COVID-19, it’s never been more important to make traveling guests feel comfortable and safe by providing a thoroughly cleaned place, and this didn’t even come close to that standard. Overall, the unit is also in need of upgrades. Warped outdoor table, stained carpet, hard, worn, and creaky mattress. We ended up leaving the property after one night. Very unsatisfied with the property management company as well. They offered to refund the cleaning fee of and we never heard from them again despite our feelings that their refund offer was inadequate. Sorry to say I not recommend and even discourage staying at this rental.

Wonderful stay in north lake tahoe
The rental unit was clean and everything in order. Perfect launching place for all of the activities in the tahoe area. We were able to enjoy the hike of emerald bay and eagle lake, I was able to ride around the lake and the family also enjoyed the lake at sands beach. Spectacular time!

A first for me -- I will not return to this property
Where do I start? I will avoid managed rentals by non owners now. After booking the rental company sent me an email about the extra steps they are taking in disinfecting and cleaning their units. When we arrived, the place did not look like it was vacuumed. There was debris on the steps, and in the entry way. I had to wipe clean the kitchen table, there were several very visible sticky spots on top of the table. The dishwasher was full of dishes. The refrigerator had left over used hummus and creamer. There were crumbs on the shelves that I had to clean out. The washer and dryer had full loads in them. The advertisement for the master bedroom was a queen bed. It is actually a double bed and one of poor quality, the whole bed shakes if someone moves a tiny bit. The master is certainly big enough to hold a king bed. I did email the management several times and let them know that I was not happy with the condition at check in, I never heard back. They asked for a review and a gave them one and still haven't heard a word from anyone. They could have turned this around if they were at least communicative. Checkin was super easy. Other than that - never again.

Cute and Quiet
My friends and I booked this place for our Lake Tahoe trip and it was perfect for us! We just needed a place to stay in the local area and did not spend a lot of time in the Airbnb but for a nice, cozy, clean, and cute place, this is it! Easy to check in and check out!

Great location for skiing, hiking & sight seeing
The location was perfect! 25 min drive to Squaw, hiking close by, walking distance to the beach (for an adult; kids probably wouldn’t enjoy the walk), Truckee is close by also. Everything we needed was in the condo. My only “complaint” was the hair dryer. The only setting that works is cool and the one time I dried my hair it took a LONG time. The owners should consider replacing it

Perfect fit
Clean, bright, comfortable and woodsy. Nice bedroom downstairs, a roomy loft that the kids really loved, and a warm communal space in the middle. Great fit for our short family vacation. I hadn't spent much time in the Kings Beach area on previous Tahoe visits, but really enjoyed this side of the lake.

We loved that the loft had two beds.
There is a central heat and air .. this felt like a cabin but still modern. We felt cozy and would love to come back soon. Everything you need is near by .. my wife baked and felt like home.
