Great Hotel value for money ideal for our overnight stay!

Rooms were ideal for two people and self catering if needed for breakfast, location was ideal as we had the dog with us as well. Garden area to sit in and enjoy a beer whilst the dog could relax safely as it was enclosed, large grass area 5 minutes walk from the hotel by the museum. Sort walk to get into town if you wanted to venture further afield for food or to see the city.

Car park under ground really tight for parking plus you have to pay 10 Euro, we managed to park at the rear of the hotel through the secure gates as going under ground with a roof box and bike rack, was not a good idea. Overall happy to pay the fee to ensure my Vechicle was secure and safe during the night.

Ganz ausgezeichnet. Erwartungen übertroffen.

Wir haben uns ausreichend vordem informiert und fanden bestätigt, was in der "Werbung" vermittelt wurde. Das Hotel liegt zentrumsnah, knapp 15 Minuten vom Bahnhof (zu Fuß) entfernt und Gleiches auch zur Spielstätte des Musicals.

Alles gut.

Ideal für Städtetrip !

Zentrale Lage. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen, Innenstadt, Bergbaumuseum, Starlight Express Theater... Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes und kompetentes Personal.

One night stay

Location was good for what we needed (starlight express)

Duvet and pillowcases were rough and not at all comfortable for sleep. Garage needed a ticket to get out of which was not explained at reception on arrival.

Good location, ease of travelling to places.

We have stayed in this hotel fairly often. Love the location, lovely staff, comfortable beds and clean rooms.

In the past we always had a slightly bigger room, with a kettle, microwave, etc. This time the room was much smaller, no kettle, etc. slightly disappointed remembering rooms we had before.

Handy for what we needed but lacking in comfort and facilities

Property was situated in a nice part of Bochum, hand for access to the city and not too far from the Starlight Theatre

Rooms were “tired” and although they said there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room there was only a kettle, not actual tea or coffee sachets or milk were provided

excelent hotel with exceptional staff

this is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and each time the staff have been top class, courteous and professional . the rooms we have had were spacious and well equipped . public areas are pleasant and clean .we enjoyed the time we were in the hotel . looking forward to our next visit.the hotel is situated near the town centre and public transport links are close at hand

A home from home in a very quiet hotel with a very comfortable bed.

The room at Acora Bochum was very big and the facilities in the room were more than expected. For a longer stay anyone could really make themselves at home but, also for short stays, it has more than you need.

Overseas television channels would be an added bonus but no reason to complain.

Nice stay overall, not that expensive, clean rooms, good service, good location.

The room was clean and the service from staff was good. The location was also good, just 5-10 minutes walking distance from the city center.

The double-bed was actually two single beds put together, and there was space between the mattresses, unlike what it looked like on the pictures on booking. I also didn't appreciate that I had to pay for using the hotel parking.

It is clean , the room was spacious.The staff were fairly nice.

They put us in the attic and we had to use the stairs inside the apartment which is little bit strange . It is not that close to the downtown of Bochum. Pricey considering what is offered.

Centrally located, place for business travellers, overpriced compared to Europe average

Quite centrally located, clean hotel with friendly staff. Easy to get last minute booking; the WiFi was fair (not too good). Suitable place for overnight stay if you are willing to spend 75-140 EUR for moderate class hotel in small town Germany (sorry, Bochumers, but your prices are higher than in most of the world capitals for similar hotel/room). Friendly staff.

Two separate reservations, but both times given an attic room, which has inside narrow staircase to reach the room (probably the top floor was added to hotel later). Internet could have been faster. Non-understandable pricing policiy: on average week the room (SGL or DBL) was EUR 75+ on Tue/Wed, but EUR 141+ for Wed/Thu. No big events in town.

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Close to city center and football stadium. Perfect for an overnight to see a Bochum game. Easy parking.

the location and friendliest staff

location of my room next to the street which is noisy. Had to keep the windows opened because the room was so hot without ventilation. Also the corridor had an AC and was way cooler than the room. At least a fan should be arranged in these hot days.
