We came out to Washington for our son to race at the Ridge. Wanted to spend a couple days relaxing and sight seeing before the race weekend so we booked this property. The location is great! Right on the hood canal. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. Host has been great and quick to respond to any questions/needs.

Was a great location and easy for us all to get to. The house was very welcoming and was perfect for the size of our group and our needs. Annie, the host, was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We had actually booked a different house but they had had unexpected repairs to do on that house and the host accommodated us by preparing this property. Would absolutely rent this house again or any other property with this host.

It was our first time to visit the area. We were there for a family reunion/anniversary celebration. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was neat and tidy, as well as spacious. Our FAVORITE part though was the location; on the water. We had coffee on the porch each morning and watched the wildlife. It was so peaceful.

This property was awesome! Plenty of space. Our host was incredible and awesome with communication. Great place to relax , accommodated the baby and the kids for all of our needs. I just can’t say enough about this property and how easy going and great the host was. Looking forward to going back in a couple months.

This is a very scenic home located on Hood Canal looking out toward the Alderbrook Resort. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and the resort has a great fireworks show we were able to enjoy from our own private back patio instead of over paying for a small room at the resort.

It would be hard to narrow down the best thing about this property. The location; the view, the comfy bed, the cleanliness and well appointed amenities or the communication with the owner. All were stellar and make me want to count down the days to my next visit!

What a wonderful getaway for a girls weekend! Everything about the home is ready for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The fire pit on the deck was the perfect place to wind down our days and the home itself is clean and thoughtfully appointed. The beds were cozy and the linens wonderfully soft.
Whether you are a family or a few friends looking to get away this home will exceed your expectations.

My partner, friends and I expected it to be relaxing, but we didn’t expect it to be perfect. It’s right on the water, very quiet, close to all the amenities you would expect in the area. Clean, modern, but cozy. Wonderful place.

The house is in an amazing location, on the water. It’s walking distance to the Alderbrook resort. We would sit on the back porch and watch the seals and birds. The gas fire pit is also great.

The house was clean, tidy and well stocked. Lots of parking! Open floor plan is perfect for a larger group to visit. AMAZING deck, fenced in yard and floating dock. A perfect place to start your day with a cup of coffee. I'll definitely be back!

This is a great location and a beautiful home. We loved being able to fish and swim from the dock. Very relaxing deck in back with incredible views of the Olympics. Kayaked over to Alderbrook Resort to cocktails and appetizers. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a beautiful setting! House was perfect to accommodate a family of 5. The kids loved everything about it!

We were not at the property itself all that much during our stay, but it was very relaxing with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for everyone. We spent our days hiking, visiting family and took a trip to the ocean. Kitchen was nice and well stocked to prepare meals for our group.

The house was exactly as advertised, with every amenity you might need onsite. We were there during an intense heat wave and found that there was not great circulation in the house with all the windows open, but that wouldn't be a problem in normal weather conditions. Overall we had a great time at Annie's house and would love to stay there again.

Beautiful waterfront home on the canal! All the comforts of home -- well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, clean linens. Kids and adults enjoyed the extras - air hockey, fire pit, bbq, covered deck brought great shade during the sunny days, the floating dock great launch for the ocean kayaks and swims! Friendly neighborhood! Fireworks show(s) terrific! Look forward to our next visit!

We had a fantastic time here. Awesome location — just a short walk from the Alderbrook and a short drive from Union City Market. Perfect spot on the canal. House was great. Well-stocked kitchen. Fire pit and bbq made outdoor time great. Large back lawn was a treat. And kayaks for guests to use. Very communicative and response host.

We had an awesome time at this house. Plenty of space for us to spread out. Awesome fenced backyard with grassy area for the kids to play in. House was clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen was well-stocked with dishes/cookware (including the little things some houses lack such as cooking oil/saran wrap/foil/parchment paper). Plenty of bath/beach towels, hand/dish soaps, shampoo/conditioner/body wash. We appreciated the house had things most others don’t (charging station for phones/ipads). We enjoyed getting on the water with the paddle board we brought and the kayaks provided. The listing doesn’t include a fire pit but there was one, so bring your smores stuff!Annie was friendly and quick to respond to my texts. Other than a few things that could use repair/improvement (smaller bathroom is kind of tight and could really use some hooks for clothes & towel when you shower, door connecting this bathroom to the room locked but would still open if the door was pushed due to the latch mechanism not fitting securely; sliding door from master room to master bath got stuck once and wouldn’t close; and back yard sliding door does not slide easily) we had a great time and would stay again!

Very clean and updated kitchen and bathroom , super comfortable rooms and living room spaces. The overview from the living room and the Outdoor deck looking out to the water is most amazing sight you’ll experience. Me and My family really enjoyed the stay. We would love to recommend anyone including friends and family for this property. MO
