The breakfast was great The location was ideal Having a restaurant downstairs was very convenient and the food was good Staff was nice

Since it was close to the street , there was the sound of the traffic, especially at night

Convenient family-owned and operated pensíon-style inn

Location is great for accessing the water, small grocer, pizza, laundromat, and cafè. The main bus line from Como S.G. train station stops right in front of the building, which is super convenient. The views were beautiful, bathrooms sparkling clean, and the balcony was a sweet bonus. Jessica was an exceptional host!

Room was a bit dated, but still adequate.

Enjoyed our stay

Big room, very clean. Good restaurant at the bottom-floor. Helpful staff, free parking in front of the building. Good price for both restaurant and accomodation. Not sure if it’s a positive or negative aspect, but this location is far from the crowded Bellagio so you won’t get that experience.

No elevator and room was at 2nd floor. Staircase was super-narrow and hard to navigate. The major downside is that the room faces a public square where teenagers gather at dawn and there’s a lot of noise until 1-2 in the night when they go to sleep. It also faces the main street and cars, motorcycles and even the big garbage truck wakes you up super early. The propery is pretty far away from all major touristic objectives (and we knew that when we booked) but we relied on the public transportation … which was a mistake. That bus never arrived when it should. Just a heads-up from this perspective.

Perfect for us to explore lake como via foot and boat!

Was very happy with our room with giant beams and double balcony’s. Staff super friendly, breakfast good, and room/bedroom kept very clean.

As some guests have mentioned, a bit noisy at times as room was by the main road. We also had some very heavy rain downpours and storms whilst there, but this is of course out of control of the hotel. Location otherwise was perfect and at breakfast, we were given the option to eat outside (so we could avoid sitting in the windowless room other people had mentioned).

lovely rooms, clean and comfortable with a beautiful view! Very nice owner and cafe downstairs serves a full breakfasts! very close to the main tourist cities and great restaurants. 10/10 recommend

an acceptable address for a rather low-budget

a rather pleasant stay with a nice staff and good location along the Como lake , a clean room and a small bathroom in neat condition as well

old style , overheated ! bedroom on the highest floor with bad noise insulation from road traffic and neighbours' rooms

The room was small but very comfortable and cozy. I Liked the big windows and the small balcony with view from the lake. Just enough for two people. The breakfast was served in a private room in the back of the bar on the ground floor. Not just a typical breakfast with pastry and coffee, it was a small Buffett- loved the pancakes with fresh fruits. The only suggestion would be a small fridge

Extremely friendly staff. Nice location, a bit off the beaten path, but with easy access to Lenno and Tremezzo ferry docks. Nice bar / restaurant downstairs frequented by tourists and locals alike. Also a very pet friendly place!!

absolutely loved this place, what a gorgeous little place to stay. the owners were so lovely and accommodating. breakfast was really good, very close to bus stop and short walk for a swim and bigger town. highly recommend, couldn’t love it more. aircon great

We loved our stay there :-) Perfect location in the middle of the lake, from where you can take ferries to Bellagio, Mennaggio ( Its necessary to walk to the port around 1 km) Bus stop is few meters away. There is a small beach some 5 minute's walk away. Pleasant room with a balcony and nice view of the lake. The room had aircon, so the noise of traffic is not a problem with closed door/ windows. Small café or restaurant with few simple food, good coffee. Breakfast was good and sufficient, the staff nice. I liked the place, it was lively and full of locals, which I like when being on travels.

Okay enough for a night on the drive back home

The room was nice enough and luckily air conditioned. We found the parking before we managed to find the actual accommodation. Checkin at the bar next door!

Sadly, there are very few nice eating opportunities in walking distance and so we had to drive to find dinner. The breakfast in the backroom of the bar was mediocre. The building is situated along the main road which has traffic until late into the night which it is possible to hear through the windows. Didn't keep us from sleeping. But for this the price was too high in my opinion.

Good

We were very well received! The room was nice, with a great light and we really liked the area. You can stroll around and you can use bus or ferry to cross the river. You also have a really Nice place for dinner just 2min walk.

Good place to stay at Lake Como

Very nice place run by a friendly family. If we come back, we would be happy to stay here again. Location is very convenient to access main tourist places. Small local beach, a food store, authentic restaurants, bus stop and hiking paths are in immediate proximity. Breakfast was good enough (continental style), excellent coffee and a great atmosphere. The room was small but clean. Cleaning and new towels were provided every day. In general we would recommend this place for a nice Como experience.

Having such a cafeteria in a hotel was absolutely great! Stuff was extremely nice and helpful and the location so close to the lake is absolutely outstanding (balcony view <3) I'd love to come back! :)

Mediocre...

Friendly staff, decent breakfast , free parking space.

Very noisy . Noise coming either from the street or the neighboring rooms. Total lack of insulation. The mattress was quite hard and uncomfortable and the linen -although clean- felt rough and dated. Breakfast was normally served in video-games room !! How awkward ! Thank God ,we could sit outside in the veranda !

Nice place

The personal is super nice, they give great advices. The breakfast is super, discovered pretty good pastries. Early check in, lake and parking very close, lot of good points.

The road around is quite noisy but I think it's everywhere like that around Como Lake.

Good place to stay

Very good breakfast! Car parking was okay, as they had reserved spots next to the road.The room was very clean! Mezzegra is a relatively small village, but a few good restaurants are in walking distance.

The rooms were a bit noisy, however during the night this was no problem. All was quiet. The rooms look a bit old fashioned, but were very clean.

Great stay

We had a great stay at Azzano Holidays B&B. Perfect parking facility and very friendly people. Coffee at breakfast was delicious. The room was clean, cozy and got tidied up every day which also included clean towels which we didn’t count on. Was a nice surprise!
