Comfortable room and excellent breakfast, Good leisure facilities.

Good location eith easy access to the motorway, excellent breakfast with lots of choice and really enjoyed the leisure facilities.

Is normally quite expensive and could only afford to go this time as there was an offer on.

Bedroom too warm and couldn’t have window open due to traffic noise

Location was close to my destination Convenient just off M5

Bedroom - no AC. Couldn’t have window open due to traffic noise and too warm with window closed. WiFi went off around 10:30pm Mattress was poor quality

The hotel was very good- just the attitude and response to a food intolerance error was poor and I

I was given food I am intolerant to despite clearly stating when ordered. I double checked when food arrived and the service staff checked with kitchen who said it was fine. It wasn’t. I told the duty manager who investigated, found I was given the food I’m intolerant to but didn’t feedback until I asked next day. I was ill all night and next day. I was not offered for the meal to be taken off bill but of more concern, this is worrying for those with severe food allergies.

Lumpy bed, had to eat in the foyer for breakfast as had a dog. Kids making more of a mess than the dog.

Comfortable rooms and good location.

Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and excellent shower. Housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly. Location is excellent for travelling around Somerset and devon.

Breakfast service was poor. Although the hot and cold buffet food was of a reasonable standard, the staff were very slow to replenish dishes, juices and glasses. Tables were left with remains of food as staff just walked past or stood around chatting. Both coffee/tea machines had messages warning that they needed cleaned and emptied but staff simply switched off the messages. Bar staff were attentive and friendly and bar food was reasonable. Prices for glasses of wine were high even by hotel standards.

Fabulous. Great great staff.

Convenience to entertainment nearby

Toilet continually flushing. But Zak holiday inn employee at 01.30am immediately came to my assistance and fixed! In a minute or so. Well done!

Swimming pool

Food. Soggy and very mustardy rarebit with dried out inedible leaves. Dry and tasteless scampi with bulllet peas. If we weren't so tired it all should have gone back. No one looking after dining room so we had to find someone at the bar to serve us.

Such an enjoyable stay - would not hesitate in using again

The breakfast and evening meal were good - plenty of choice and good quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for the airport bus to Bristol , stopping just outside the hotel

Ideal

When they realised I was disabled with limited mobility they VERY kindly moved me to a more easy to get too room. Almost all the staff were incredibly friendly and kind.

When I asked for my main with my starter, one of the staff very rudely answered (not knowing I was in ear shot) “well she can just wait”, then proceeded to slate other customers (clearly thinking they weren’t being obvious, yet they were), otherwise it would have been the perfect stay.

had a lovely three night stay in a very comfortable hotel.

rooms were very comfortable and food was good

that I had to go outside to reach the pool (only because it was raining!)

A friendly, laid back welcome.

The staff were very helpful, everything was simple, the pool and spa were great and breakfast was huge!

I had forgotten some toiletries which I couldn’t get at reception, despite a notice saying they were available. Very minor though!

It was close to my relatives who I was visiting it had very good facilities but unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to use them

Lovely and clean and comfortable.

clean, easy to get to, exceeded expectations of a holiday inn, nicer than a standard one, staff friendly, room spacious and clean and bed really comfortable.

Breakfast was the only disappointment. juice was watered down, ran out of bread and butter, sausages were full of grease. quite off putting. would still stay again however as hotel was great.
