Exceptional stay at Hotel Erzgiesserei Europe

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel! We arrived late on a Friday evening and were worried about dining options since the hotel restaurant and nearby places were already closed. However, the staff allowed us to order food and use the restaurant area to dine in comfort. This thoughtful gesture made our late arrival so much easier. The hotel is impeccably clean, and the breakfast was abundant with plenty of options to satisfy every palate. The restaurant area itself is beautifully decorated with traditional Bavarian wooden elements, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that we truly enjoyed. The staff deserves special mention—they were incredibly polite, friendly, and always ready to assist. The location was excellent, within walking distance to the city centre and just a 5-minute walk to the bus station for Memmingen Airport. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich.

Schöner Kurztrip

gutes Frühstück, die Lage ( eine U-Bahn Station vom Hbf), das Zimmer ist groß gewesen

Die Duschbadewanne, die Kante ist ziemlich hoch, man muss aufpassen das man nicht ausrutscht. In der Nacht Geräusche ( wahrscheinlich durch die Klimaanlage).

Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder!

Wir als 5-Personen-Gruppe waren ja nur für 1 Übernachtung im Haus und haben uns in jeder Beziehung wohl gefühlt; besonders zu erwähnen noch das überaus freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal an der Rezeption und im Frühstücks-Service.

Es war nichts zu beanstanden ....

Would recommend and would stay at again for a next event in Munich.

The location and the staff were great! We liked that the room was spacious with big mirrors to help us get ready for a concert simultaneously. The breakfast buffet was also nice.

The bathroom plumbing was a bit strange but overall okay and clean.

Exceptional except location for “city walkers”

Breakfast was fantastic. Many hot and cold items to choose from. Location a bit of a walk from train station

Location is my only drawback as we walked everywhere when we were in a city

Be careful with narrow parking places, but on the other hand - be glad you have one just on the spot.

the location, the breakfast and the friendly staff

the pillows were terrible and it would have been good if bottled water could be provided to guests as there were no nearby shops; the restaurant was also closed when we stayed

The hotel in general was satisfactory. The breakfast was in general okay. I have to notice the friendly service one waiter every morning (unfortunately I cannot recall his name). The room was clean and warm and the bed was big enough and comfortable.

When we arrived at the hotel we had to face a very unpleasant welcome from the receptionist. We tried to pay with our visa cards (as we always do), but the receptionist claimed that our cards could not work both mine and my boyfriend's. She talked to us like we are some kind of fraud and after that we were trying to find the nearest ATM to withdraw money (meanwhile minus 6 degrees outside)!!! I even thought that I will sleep outside this day! This was very suspicious because we always pay with our cards and it could not be possible both of our cards to be problematic. By the way ours cards worked in the ATM and for the rest of our trip. 1st time in my life I encountered something like this!
