Wonderful experience and I can’t wait to go back!

Location, excellent staff - front the gentleman opening the main door, reception, bellhop, cleaning staff - all were delightful!!!

Great Hotel and Restaurant in a Fabulous Location!!!!!

There was a gorgeous view of the cathedral from all of our balcony windows. The bed was quite comfortable and the room was very quiet. The bathtub was luxurious as well as the toiletries provided. I loved the towels and the robes.

It was quite hectic checking in and checking out. I wonder if there could be a way to stagger it so there weren’t lines of harried travelers in the lobby. Although the staff was quite helpful and very kind the lifts are tiny, slow and very busy. We were always waiting for an elevator and opted more than a couple of times to take the stairs. The bell boys/ door men didn’t open the doors for us or help us with our bags unless asked which was a little surprising given the price point! The service should have been a bit more attentive.

Great place to stay for a 2 nights. Anything more and it may become problematic.

Very central. Everything apart from Barceloneta Beach, Sagrada Família and Parc Güell is within walking distance.

No pool, no gym. No bar area with tv downstairs to relax (Does have a rooftop, but it is always overally crowded).

perfect!

This property is in the best location . It is very walkable , the Hotel is right across the street from the cathedral and the square around the cathedral is happening. You are surrounded by shop, bars, resturants, and the beach is about a 15 minute walk as well . It's perfect ! Highly recommended

I would definitely stay here if I go again to Barcelona.

I have stayed there before and loved the hotel and the location. It did not change or disappoint me after a few years. It is very expensive for Canadians 1157.00 for two nights with no charges to the room but that is the price. The view is excellent, roof top a nice touch.

I was a little disappointed we could not get the room earlier even though I wrote ahead and I am a travel agent and past client as we were on a cruise ship and arrived earlier. However it was very busy and I understand.

Great hotel, could offer coffee in rooms daily not just on first day, considered room price

Location style facilities

They had only one provision of nespresso capsuöes for one day in the room (370 euros per night). They never replenished😳 you had to buy it feom day 2. I think offering some coffee, even soluble, and tea, in rooms is a minimum standard.

테라스 있는방인데 너무너무 그림처럼 아름다웠습니다 위치는 정말짱이고 공항가기전에 호텔에서 택시 미리 불러주고 너무 친절했습니다 종소리 난다고 했는데 귀마개 끼고 잤는데 하나도 안들렸어요 비싼호텔 요번에 많이 예약했는데 가장 마음에 드는 숙소였습니다

화장실이 너무 오픈되어 있습니다!

Un endroit magnifique qui attend la fin des travaux

Sa situation géographique

Nous trouvons inadmissible que lors de la réservation nous ne soyons pas prévenus des travaux de 8 à 17 h et de ce fait la terrasse supérieure était inaccessible. À signaler également que l’insonorisation des portes des salles de bain était défaillante et audible dès l’aube.

Great location, close to quite a few tourist attractions, close to the metro/train station. The hotel was spotless, best breakfast we ever had, staff is very helpful and friendly. We had an amazing citybreak holiday. Thank you.

Schöner und entspannter Aufenthalt mit der Familie, würde jederzeit wieder buchen, klare Empfehlung!

Das Hotel hat einfach eine tolle Lage, direkt bei der Kathedrale von Barcelona. Die Zimmer sind toll ausgestattet, die Betten sehr bequem, das Bad ist gut ausgestattet mit Toilettenartikeln, Bademänteln, Schlappen etc. Das Restaurant ist auch sehr gut mit wiederum tollem Blick auf die Kathedrale. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend!

Exasperating Disappointing Overpriced

The old city center location and open view of the cathedral enjoyed during our previous visit cannot be taken away and explained our recent four day choice of the top level balcony view "suite"

This once stately hotel with magnificent location across the plaza from the Barcelona Cathedral is unfortunately a four star facade now housing a two star operation. Balcony must be understood to represent a 12" projection without chair space and the cathedral square now daily entertains a cacophony of crowds, skateboards, vendors, stereo-speaker musicians, buskers etc until the late hours of the day. Closing the windows merely accented the noise of the ongoing interior construction (until noon on Saturdays) and lack of AC (after April says management) and causes you to contemplate the complete lack of any room decor (excepting a flat panel TV) while enjoying your allotted two day coffee supply (after which you must pay a 12 Euro replacement fee even if staying four days) A glass of wine would be enjoyable though there are no wine glasses nor any ice and phone request found a minimum 10 Euros would be assigned to any room delivery. So you use either of the two 4 person elevators (one of which was inoperable on day of departure with our luggage from top floor) though find the hotel also was providing public access to the partially reconstructed terrace (no enclosed seating) by the same elevators with a line-up on the street for such entry. A new I-PAD system had been provided in the rooms for hotel communication though we found the send function inoperable and discussion at the desk provided the ongoing response that it was not their "department" but would relay concerns to "management". Extreme rains on our third day led me downstairs at 8:30am to request an umbrella though advised they were already taken, and when asked how many they actually had, was refused an answer. Some amenity description mentions "soundproof rooms" though in the bathroom you would swear your neighbour was seated beside you ; and there is no fitness facility (except for the stairs) and no pool other than the bidet.

fantastic stay

The Hotel is in the center of Barcelona. So there are a lot of sites and restaurants in walking-distance. The staff was fantastic!!! They were friendly and helpful, gave us a room-upgrade... The room is modern and good designed, with amenities like nespresso-machine and tea-maker. We loved it and will return.

Nothing like the pictures was not notified about construction right next door the smell of sewage was coming from the shower and sinks notified staff who stated they would correct it but never did

Basically enjoyable stay in Barcelona. We will look forward to come back and visit again but maybe another hotel.

Not really soundproof and also the aircon/heater was not working properly. We turned on the aircon for both rooms and in the morning both rooms became heater instead which make the room too hot we had to open the window to let the hot air out of our room

A beautiful hotel in an excellent location

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Our family room was a great size for 4 of us and a good sized bathroom too. All of the staff were lovely and the breakfast buffet was excellent.
