A wonderful romantic experience

Our stay was wonderful. The room was very beautiful. The check in experience was unique. A glass of rose and a greeting by the owner and winemaker. The grounds were very beautiful and we were blessed with a pair of storks nesting on the grounds. The food was delicious. We had 2 dinners there with 5 starters, a main course and desert. Dinning was in a beautifully appointed room and lunch outside overlooking the vineyards.

A beautiful haven of peace

Beautiful location and views, tranquil environment, superb food and wine.

My daughter would have liked to have a broader selection of drinks and more choice of food. but my wife and I were delighted with everything.

Excellent location and facilities, very cozy sand personal feeling

We just stayed one night and had a wine tasting planned. Was really lovely and very professionally done. The accommodation was top. The service was personal and very friendly.

It is in the middle of nowhere. Easy to get to, but from there is is not easy to find another restaurant for instance.

Highly recommended

Everything - we got a free upgrade, welcome wine, safari, ambience including fireplace. We had the Alentejo feeling. The dinner was extraordinarily delicious. Breakfast was sumptuous with freshly squeezed orange juice and lots of homemade products. We would definitely love to come again.

Great, secluded location. Room was nice and we got upgraded to a suite facing the pool. Started with a welcome drink, then spent the day at the pool, followed by dinner and stargazing.

Actually everything! the nature around and the amazing view from the room. highly comfortable room. recommend it strongly for couple trips and long stay

it is not that easy to reach out on darkness night. because there are no public lights on this road, it is a bit hard to drive coming to the property

We loved it here and were amazed by the hospitality and the premises

The place is absolutely stunning and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Initially we had planned on doing a winetour on the day of the arrival but it wasn’t possible and then on our way there we had a flat tire (careful with those back country roads). We arrived way past the opening hours of the restaurant and they stayed open just for us so we didn’t have to go to bed hungry. They even extended our checkout time and scheduled us for a tasting with the winemaker himself in the morning. That in itself was an incredible experience that I will cherish forever!!! The wines are fantastic and everyone we met from the staff was exceptionally friendly. Absolutely 100% recommended.

Romantic area. Staff with class.

The young girl at the reception from near Porto was fantastic friendly. And the man with gray hair working in the restaurant was so friendly! He also did breakfast. And it was amazing. The romantic wine fields and the atmosphere! Unique location. Big room, Beautiful view, the style of the hotel is amazing.

Way too expensive! I have to be honest... 250 euro per night for this room? Come on... Thin walls. I could hear everything from the neighbors.

Taste of the Alentejo

Very peaceful and unusual location with great views of surrounding countryside. Meals were delicious and were designed to give guests a chance to sample Alentejo cuisine which we thoroughly enjoyed along with the Sobroso wines which are of excellent quality - the Cellar Selection rose and red were excellent. The junior suite with pool view was very comfortable with a high quality bathroom.

Sound insulation between rooms is not good such that voices of people in the next room were quite audible.
