Super stay!

Terrific, friendly staff all over the resort. To be commended. Well maintained resort. Beautiful grounds. Childrens' entertainers and helpers at the kids club were excellent. Helpful reception desk team and whatsapp number for queries. Spacious apartments.

Infant pools quite cold. Would have loved more choice of perhaps porridge/ smoothies/ Weetabix at breakfast time.

Een ideale vakantie plek voor gezinnen met kleine kinderen.

Prima, rustige locatie. Erg mooie en schone appartementen, lekker ruim. Het resort is opgezet als een soort van dorpje. Alles is netjes en goed verzorgd. Prima zwembaden. Er loopt personeel rond die je vragen beantwoorden over hoe bijvoorbeeld de AI werkt of waar je de handdoeken voor het zwembad kan halen. Het eten is prima, en wordt regelmatig aangevuld. Iedere dag opgemaakte bedden (muv zondag) en iedere 2 dagen schone lakens en als je wilt, handdoeken.

Het is een echt 'kleine kinderen' resort. Met de daarbij horende herrie, rondrennende kids en chaos in de ruimte waar het buffet is. De eetzaal is groot genoeg, maar galmt enorm en is chaotisch. Een gesprek voeren is er niet bij. Dat zal wellicht minder zijn in de zomer als je buiten kan eten. Daarvoor was het nu (begin april) nog te koud. En voor meer rust kan je terecht in een ander, a la carte restaurant (niet incl) Voor mij was het bed echt te hard, zere rug na 2 nachten. Maar uiteraard is dat persoonlijk.

Carla Silva waitress is amazing lovely place

Perfect for my big family. We only come back after staying in Feb because of a very special waitress Carla Silva. She’s amazing and asset to the restaurants she was amazing with my baby. She made out eating times much more comfortable

The room only got cleaned on day 2 and 6. The towels only twice and one was when I ask for change of towels and bed change as son spilt drink. That’s the only linen change the entire holiday.

Very good Resort with little areas of improvement.

Staff was very helpful and polite and always one call away Lots of kids and sports activities. Free shuttle services for old town and supermarket. Very good architectural design of the resort. Very peaceful and safe environment and surrounding

No smart TV. Not many English TV channels. Sofa was not comfortable at all. and Lights in rooms are not that good. No starting satches e.g. sugar, coffee or milk in the kitchen. Lack of communication, no right information at the right time. Kitchen utensils not appropriate for a family of 3. Pots were to big for cooking. Tea/coffee machine was not supplied as per the booking.com website. Washing machine and tumble dryer was not supplied as per the booking.com website. TV was without YouTube, Netflix and Amazon prime, in today world of digital media how one can imagine to live without online platforms for entertainment. Resort doesn't have USB sockets. This days every family would have minimum 3 to 6 digital devices. It would be convenient to have USB wall sockets. 5 euros for a swimming cap for a free swimming pool is a indirect loot. Not enough CCTV camera in Resort. Dinner was very costly £32 person. It means £100 per day for family of 3. We managed the same food from Uber eats in £50 per day. Taxi to airport from Eden Resort from reception they quoted £60 but we managed to get it in £30 via Uber. If you keep milking your customers who has already pay enough money then they will never come back.

Would not go again

The apartment was good with all the facilities you would need. And was easy to get around the resort with all the bars, etc, in the same place.

The family pool was poorly maintained and not big enough to cope with the number of people in the resort. Not enough sun beds as the area to small around the pool you were on top of one another. Also, people saving sun beds with towels very early in the mornings and going to breakfast, etc, not policed as pool attendants not there till 10.00 am. I am very disappointed that there was also a stag do at a family resort drunk with bad language.

Enjoyable, but mostly because our children are much older so we could seek sanctuary

The Adult only pool was lovely, clean and peaceful. the food was varied and tasty, the astro turf pitch was a huge bonus to my son, free use only €20 key deposit. Staff were helpful and friendly, the mini market was excellent and the drinks in AI were brilliant.

The family areas, pool, restaurant, indoor bars, were very loud and crowded at times. only bar open during the day was the pool bar for a coffee, cold drink or snack rather than indoor ones with comfy seating, they didn't open until the evening. the walk to town is fine, the walk back is very steep.

Not all bars open during the day so unless you want to be beside the pool there’s isn’t anywhere for a coffee etc, we had 2 bed villa was lovely and modern but outside area not enclosed and our child is a flight risk so weren’t able to avail of the outdoor space, kids entertainment not on until 8pm, too late for our children

Albufeira star.

Everything. From the moment of arrival and the friendliness of staff we knew it was going to be good. Never a sullen face to be seen and all staff are exceptionally pleasant. My husband was ill for the last 2 days and the restaurant staff picked up on it right away offering to make up food package to take back for him. There is an adults only pool if you want peace but the family pool is better for entertainment etc. We were meeting up with friends who had their wee boy with them so we had a ball. We don't have children but we like to join in the fun. After all you're on holiday. Loved our room. Number125. Sun all day on balcony then at entrance door. Food aplenty and delicious. Staff are on the ball clearing plates etc asap so no cluttered tables. Very clean and orderly. Only a 10/15 min walk to the Old Town but there is a free shuttle going down and back or a taxi back is €4/5. Would definitely visit again. Washing machines are extremely handy too. I like to have most of my clothes washed before going home.

Not didn't like but a tea towel and brush/shovel would be very handy.

Ideal resort for young families

The villa was amazing with everything we needed, the kids pool was ideal for small kids, the staff were all really friendly and helpful. The location is great, just 10 mins or less from the old town.

The kids pool doesn’t open until 11am which made no sense as it wasn’t manned by a lifeguard, lots of kids go for naps in the middle of the day plus this is when the sun is hottest so it was really annoying. Dinner doesn’t start until 6.30pm which was far too late for us so we only ate there once and went elsewhere after that. For that reason all inclusive wouldn’t be suitable for a lot of young families. The buffet was also quiet small with limited options.

Perfect resort! So clean! Happy and helpful staff!

Absolutely amazing hotel! The staff are so helpful and the 4 bedroom private villa exceeded all of our expectations. Big thank you to the staff working on 4.11.22 who helped us with our baggage to the villa! Thank you we really appreciate it and so excited to book our next stay next year

Exceptional

Good stay

the restaurant was offering various choice and was tasty ! The rooms are pretty big but you can see that the accomodation was used for a while. The facilities are good also ! this is really children fiendly

the baby stair protection was not steady at all. The frame was falling off even after a technician came to repair it. The entrance door could not be opened entirely as it got stuck in the middle. The AC made a huge noise, so we didn't use it

Superb stay

Food was consistently good, and definitely worth it on the AI. Not an enormous variation but more than enough to keep a group of 10 people happy for a week. Would be great if they had speciality themed nights to go along with it or more access to the restaurant in quieter periods. We had a clerical error with our booking of the restaurant as it was closed for half the week and had to go unexpectedly when it didnt suit us but the staff were very apologetic and the food was suberb. Staff were so friendly all the time, they were very accomododating to my Dad who needed some mobility support. The facilities were fab as were the four bed villa we stayed in. Made use of the spa and Thelma was amazing. All in all a great resort and holiday. Thank you Eden!

The baby pool could be open earlier -11am is quite late for kids and the loud music at the main pool bar could be turned off earlier. Pool was quite cold but understand that's probably time of year.

Great resort. Staff could not do enough for you. We stayed at a villa beside the adult pool. The resort is mainly focused on families. Main pool is mayhem but the adult one was lovely and relaxing. Whole place exceptionally clean and well run. Cold water stations at the pools, good beach towels provided were a nice touch. You have to request blankets, the beds only come with sheets. Beds were very comfortable and even the couch bed was great. Shower was fantastic but there's a big step into the bath for it. Villa was huge and luxurious well worth it. We went all inclusive for last three days which suited us. A nice mix between gorgeous meals out in the old town and then the buffet for last few pool days. There's a free shuttle bus to town throughout the day and get a taxi at night. At night the taxi cost us 6e which was grand and plenty of them.

The only fault was the nightlife at the resort. Grand if you've kids but if it's just adults you have to go out each night. And the ants, leave crumbs on your counter and you'll know all about them

Stayed room only but added on breakfast a few times. Dinner we thought was expensive at EUR30 pp and our 5 year wasn’t free (kids don’t eat much!) Lovely pretty hotel. Main pool quite noisy, maybe play the music in just the afternoon. Kids small pool great, clean and well thought out. Room huge and clean. Shuttle bus to the town and beach good and polite helpful drivers. Entertainment in the evening needs looking at and put in one place. Keep the kids entertained while the adults can relax in ONE place.

Entertainment in the evening and the area for it. Multi areas are confusing and don’t allow for adults to enjoy their evening. Reptile night stressful and chaotic for example.

Rooms are beautiful and staff are lovely. Drinks are great especially the cocktails. Brilliant if you need a place to go away and chill. Free bus to old town is a bonus if you wish to visit the beach or shops

The stay at the resort was pleasant and comfortable, very kind and patient staff

The majority was clean and tidy, I would improve the cleanliness of the bath itself, the controls and the handles. I didn't notice the lifeguard in the pool.

Great family holiday

Spacious and clean accommodation, regularly cleaned. Close to amenities of the town.

Nothing we didn't like although may be an idea to offer an all inclusive drinks option instead of drinks & food. We didn't want to eat in the buffets and instead are in the town's restaurants or cooked in the villa. Villa was also missing quite a few items of kitchen equipment.

Superb

The villa was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and charming, the food was great, the adult pool was almost deserted - an oasis of tranquility, the kids pool was lots of fun with music and constant drinks and snacks available. Wonderful!

Very enjoyable

My kids loved the pools especially the one with slides. Entertainers were great with the kids and encouraged them to join in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely relaxed atmosphere at the pool.

The 1st accommodation I was given had ants and the management resolved my complaint quickly and satisfactorily. The 2nd accommodation was immaculate compared to the 1st so not sure if the villas tend to get more attention cleanliness wise or if we were just unlucky. It wouldn't put me off staying again.
