We loved our room in the hotel, it really felt like a treasure from the past. Everything worked well, and having a fridge and good air-conditioning in the room was an absolute godsend. Staff were attentive and friendly, we loved our stay. This place is definitely a hidden treasure, it's got so much old-school charm. Would definitely recommend.
Can't think of anything we didn't like! Maybe we could have done with a kettle in the room, but there was a bar downstairs and the staff were happy to provide things we asked for when we needed them.

It’s amazingly good value, especially in the middle of the tourist season, when getting a decent size room at a decent price can be a pain. Exis offer the choice of a large room with a small balcony (which I took) or a room with a jacuzzi. Staff are unwaveringly helpful. Rooms are very clean. There’s a very nice cinema nearby and the walk to the National Archeological takes in many shops from budget to mid-range (eg Zara, Badila).
It’s not the best of areas, though not particularly dangerous. It’s about 10 minutes walk to the nearest metro, but there are frequent buses and trams just outside. The hotel itself is slightly antiquated but in a charming, quirky way, but no problems. Breakfasts, if taken, are quite basic.

The room was clean and comfortable.
Ample clean towels and 2 pairs of white paper slippers.
The bed was a double four poster, which was also comfortable.
I paid extra for the spa bath, which was a wonderful luxury, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
No kettle in the room, or ability to have a hot drink.
I don't drink tea or coffee, but I do like to start the day with a hot water.
I ordered breakfast one morning. It was brought to my room, and consisted of orange juice (much appreciated), coffee, I don't drink it, a boiled egg with that very hard toasted bread, a packaged pain au chocolate, butter, jam, honey and marmalade. And a glass of iced water.
If they had asked me first, I would have requested a cup of hot water rather than the coffee. But that's a minor quibble.
At 6.15pm on three of my 4 days there, what I can only imagine was a female sex worker, possibly on-line?? was loud enough for the whole hotel to hear for about 10 minutes. Perhaps she thought that there wouldn't be any guests in the hotel at that time, but it was slightly off putting.
I didn't complain to the hotel, but I would have if I'd had children with me.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in in Athens, the place is very clean, and the staff is very friendly and treats them with great kindness and sophistication.

Great building, beautiful and spacy room, excellent staff
The bed was noisy and not comfortable. The area next to the hotel is dark and with foreign people.

Hotel managers are very good people. they are very helpful. There are bus stops very close to the hotel. I recommend it for guests coming from Turkey and other countries. On the last floor of the hotel there is a large and wonderful terrace.

i took the suite, like a beautiful old colonial mansion, super large jacuzzi and subtle hidden lighting. (Though it is old and a bit worn.) I enjoyed it. It might also be ideal for a romantic couple on a budget and who don’t mind the location; though there are two cinemas (one with English language) in easy walking distance. The staff are warm and friendly and very helpful.
There was some horrendous noise in some days from building works on the balcony of the floor above and the neighbourhood is not very salubrious (though I don’t think it is dangerous), yet the property is outstanding at the price, especially the suites., and the staff are very likeable.

We loved this hotel. It was a good walk into Athens around 30 mins but we enjoy the food so like the exercise. We didn’t have breakfast there as there are so many bakeries nearby. There was a good one next to the hotel so we got takeout and ate in the square by the fountain under the beautiful smelling orange trees. The shops at this end of town were cheaper and lovely to walk into town by them. Lots of public busses if you prefer not to walk. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the room regularly cleaned to a high standard. The shower was amazing with great water pressure. For what we paid the hotel far exceeded our expectations so very good value for money. We would definitely return here.
Nothing. We knew we were half hour walk from town when booking

Breakfast was as expected. Simple but satisfying, and in a convenient time. The room was clean and the towels were sealed, meaning sterilized, something i personally liked. Decorations, although minimal, added a nice drop of atmosphere to the room.
It was ok for a budget room. Breakfast could have had a little more variety, and covid safe protocols could have been implemented a little better.
