Great stay in Chongqing

- spacious luxurious hotel room with great city view - very good breakfast with lots of options - great location to explore downtown

- there was a slight cold smoking smell in the room although it was a non-smoking room, I would have asked for a room change if we stayed more than 1 night

Estancia excepcional en el Glenview

El Glenview plaza hizo que nuestros días en Chongqing fuesen una gozada. El hotel contaba con un desayuno extraordinario y con piscina, gimnasio. La ubicación es inmejorable cerca del metro y en pleno centro de la ciudad próximo a muchos puntos de interés solo caminando. Con respecto a la habitación, solo podemos decir que fue una gozada, en el piso 23, con unas vistas increibles y muy confortable, equipada, espaciosa, limpia. En definitiva, una maravilla y volveremos a este hotel si recalamos de nuevo en Chongqing, ciudad que nos fascinó!!

Very nice hotel and excellent value. Staff were friendly and attentive and the room was kept very clean.

Small hint of cigarette smoke in the room despite it being a no smoking room.

Beautiful hotel with great staff and incredible location in Chongqing. Flawless experience.

- The hotel looks fantastic, and my room was perfect (clean, spacious, comfortable, with a great view) - The staff was very friendly and helpful, including in helping me book a great trip (thank you again) - The hotel is perfectly located with a subway station only a 3-4-minute walk away. The metro line itself is really convenient. - Plenty of restaurants/shops in the area, including some great Hot Pot spots, and a nice market-like street closeby. Just a 10-15-minute walk from Hongyadong, where on the platform you can find an incredible view of the city around sunset time (and also food on the lower floors). The walk on Qiansimen Bridge in the early evening is great too. - The view from my room was great, and enhanced my Chongqing experience. - Great value for the quality of my stay. - No complaints, highly recommend based on my personal experience.

excellent hotel with convenient location

The hotel is located conveniently in the centre close to all attractions, with easy access and roads are relatively flat. The staff are amazing including the cleaning lady. would stay here again if I visit the city

Location is superb, so many food options nearby and very easy to get around!

Nothing! If anything at all may just be the waiting time for elevators but it really wasn't a big deal compared to the pros.

Exceptional

This is an older hotel but don't be deceived. The service is absolutely brilliant. Everything is superclean and works exactly how it should. The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. At breakfast they are very helpful and the price is a great deal if you reserve at check-in. Gym good and a nice pool with good changing facilities..

There wasn't really an evening place to relax open in this area of the city at the time but it was close to when this city had its Covid peak. Probably places opening up again now. Restaurants all open and you can get a taxi if you want something like live music.

Top service and quality at a great price.

This is one of the best hotels that I've ever stayed in because of the value for money and the standard of service is outstanding. Don't be deceived by some of the older decor of the hotel because it is impeccably looked after and staff cannot do enough for you. You will feel happy and relaxed because everyone is so friendly and helpful from the door staff to the room cleaner and restaurant staff. This is what service should be like everywhere! Got a great discount on breakfast which was always excellent. Well done Glenview team!

It's hard to think of something about the hotel. At the time I was there this area was coming out of its peak Covid point and some local venues like music.bars etc were still unavailable even though all restaurants, malls etc were open.

the electric oven is faulty and my travel moka pot end up useless. wish one day they could provide capsule coffee machine

Very comfortable and quite in the room

Everything was well done. I like the quality of food during the breakfast. The service staff is very polite and kind. The hotel is near shopping malls and restaurants with local food and European taste. Very clean, warm and comfortable room with beautiful view from the window. Thanks to hotels staff for their kindness all the time during staying.
