Good location for our purpose
Room is technically ensuite but the facilities are so small anyone of a larger frame than us would have struggled. Our room was over the ball room where a live band played till 11 pm. Some people would have welcomed the free entertainment but had we known in advance we would have gone elsewhere as we had just completed the coast to coast walk and wanted to rest ready for our journey back the following day.

Breakfast was excellent and no request ignored, I asked for three poached eggs the second day having had the full english first day and found that too filling, so the eggs were perfect, thank you
Nothing to do with the Grosvenor, but the parents of children having free run on every cereal on show.

Location was great. Full English Breakfast was excellent , also included cereals, fresh fruit, toast etc, fruit juice, tea or coffee.
Having booked a small double room, we were delighted to be given a huge room, Inc a sofa.
Breakfast was at 8 am, 7.30 am would be better.

cosy room. super breakfast. music night with Steve and Kate always good. A handful of staff need to be trained in "hospitality"... smiling and cheerful banter is better than whispering and finger pointing. you meet all sorts. had no such issues in my 3 nights at the Victoria..
not a lot

The hotel was very easy to find and the staff were very welcoming. The room was enormous especially as we were expecting share a double bed and ended up in a quad room in the attic! Amazing. Beautifully decorated with a lot of thought into ensuring everything matched.
Nothing

Room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was good. The people were nice and friendly and it was easy to check out at the end.
The only thing that bothered me was that it didn’t have its own parking spots.

Spacious room. Evening meal was great and good breakfasts.
Water pressure in shower was low
3.5
The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. When we had friends around for a pre-dinner drink they accommodated us in the dining room as there were no more tables available in the bar. The hotel is located at the top of the hill that leads down to the harbour front and so we had great views down towards the harbour. It is also very close to the bus station. The room was small but adequate and had a good sized ensuite bathroom with a bath which was much appreciated after a day of walking!
Lugging suitcases up three flights of narrow stairs! And the breakfast was good but we always prefer buffet style breakfasts rather than waiting to be served at our table.

Great location. Great menu for dinner. Comfortable and convenient to the town. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was delicious and great value.
No parking. You have to find somewhere on the street or pay £6 for a 24hr overnight park in the public car park opposite.

Evening meals were very nice but a bit to much for us to eat a smaller option would be very could and help with less food waste. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice. Location very good lovely walk to Robins hood bay but a bit of a struggle coming back up the steep hill but there are plenty of seats to take in the view
The TV had only BBC channels so not much to watch.
The music from the bar was a bit loud as the speakers were touching the ceiling in the bar so heard every thump from it and lots of noise till 1am in the morning from bar customer's so not much sleep on our last night which spoilt it for us
