Una hermosa casa republicana restaurada en la calle real del Cabrereo.

Un lugar hermoso en uno de los barrios más tradicionales de Cartagena a solo 5 minutos caminando del centro histórico por calles muy seguras y limpias, es una hermosa casa muy bien conservada justo al lado del museo de Rafael Núñez. Tiene una terraza encantadora para observar el atardecer y una piscina muy lo no pis y cuidada sin contar con los variados y agradables desayunos. El personal muy encantador todas y cada una de las chicas que estaban en el día como la señora de la cocina e Inés son un encanto. El señor que estaba en hora de la noche siempre presto a recibirte con mucha amabilidad.

Muy amables las personas que trabajan en el hotel.

Instalaciones muy deterioradas y habitación sucia. Estuve hace 3 años y me pareció excelente pero no se le ha hecho a mi parecer ningún tipo de mantenimiento. El Aire acondicionado goteaba, los rincones de la habitación estaban sucios y llenos de pelos. La ducha estaba rota..... etc. Nos alojamos en la Suite y todos los armarios estaban cerrados con llave ya que los usan como almacén para los enseres de las otras habitaciones, cosa que me parece increíble. Desayuno escaso y pobre.

Great value, location, staff, and secure!

Beautiful hotel! Stayed in the standard queen room and appreciated the amount of storage there was since we were staying for a week. The hotel is strategically Located and very secure, they need to buzz you in and out of the property so I always felt safe. The staff is amazing, the breakfast every morning is fresh and changes everyday which is nice. There is a small pool and rooftops to hang out on. For the value I am so glad I stayed here! And they also had a great recommendation for laundry service in Getsamani. Also they have warm water!

Maybe more hooks in the bathroom area to hang towels and bathing suits.

Nettes altes Haus

Die Laken waren nicht sauber. Das "Frühstück" war einfach nur ein Witz. Heisses Wasser aus der Mikro, auf Nachfrage hat man sich doch noch dazu bequemt Rührei zu machen. Alte, harte Waffeln als "Hauptgang". Als mir darüber dann endgültig der Kragen geplatzt ist, bekam ich auch noch eine dumme Antwort. Und das für einen sehr stattlichen Preis. Wer verdirbt ein schönes Haus mit so dermassen schlechten Service?

Fußläufig zur Altstadt

Die Altstadt ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Es gibt einen großen Balkon und eine Dachterrasse von der man aufs Meer blicken kann. Dort kann man abends wunderbar in der Hängematte relaxen! Im Zimmer befindet sich ein Kühlschrank - die erste Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise die über diesen Luxus verfügt!

Es wurde gerade neues Personal eingearbeitet und daher war die Frühstückssituation etwas unglücklich...

Stay in Cartagena

Location is great, walking distance to the old town and to the beach. Good breakfast based on Colombian cuisine.

Hard mattresses on the beds. Cleaning needs to be requested at breakfast time. If you forget about cleaning, a room would stay unmade with unchanged towels. There is a surcharge for using a credit card. The surcharge is not mention on Booking.com

Diese alte Villa hat sehr viel Charme, aber man sollte mal etwas renovieren.

Frühstück war sehr gut. Täglich unterschiedlich und frisch zubereitet für jeden Gast.

Precioso hotel colonial

El sitio es precioso, la habitación es muy cómoda, tiene nevera disponible y agua caliente. El desayuno es muy variado y delicioso. La cama es muy cómoda. Nos dieron facilidad para usar la ducha, antes de poder hacer el checkin. Aunque inicialmente llamé y me dijeron que podía tener un costo adicional, finalmente no nos cobraron nada. No queda dentro del casco histórico, pero si muy cerca, para ir andando.

Aunque había televisor, no funcionaba la antena. Lo reportamos y no lo solucionaron. Tampoco nos importó demasiado, ya que no teníamos mucho tiempo de ver la tele.

Hermoso Hotel de Época.

Nos encantó la casona que está ubicada en un sector muy residencial de Cartagena y a 3 cuadras de la ciudad amurallada cerca de la Serrezuela. En el día puedes ir caminando sin problemas, en la noche se sugiere tomar un taxi. La casona es preciosa y desde los pisos superiores puedes ver el mar. El desayuno muy rico. La piscina es pequeña pero suficiente para pasar el calor y funciona hasta las 10 de la noche.

Sólo tuvimos un problema y fue por falta de comunicación. Se sugiere pedir en la recepción del Hotel todos los días que te hagan el aseo de la habitación, ya que si no dices nada, ellos no asean tu habitación.

La ubicación del lugar, es un barrio tranquilo y nos permitía caminar al centro histórico. El desayuno que ofrecía y la atención del personal, siempre muy atentos a nuestros requerimientos. Nos permitieron guardar nuestros equipajes durante la tarde y el uso de las instalaciones fuera del horario del check out.

Cheerful staff and good location, easy walk to old town, food store plus beach. A good place to chill out, read a book.

No hot water in room, TV difficult to work and only one English language channel, CBS, on Pluto; breakfast coffee really bad and only powder creamer(!)

Beautiful historic building that's centrally located!

Beautiful building with friendly/helpful receptionists! It's just a short walk from the old city, and an even shorter walk from the Transportes Marsol bus station (which we took to Santa Marta). The house is beautifully decorated and has a cute courtyard with a swimming pool. Breakfast is quite nice. There's tea & coffee available 24/7 (and a receptionist is there 24/7 too). Overall, a lovely stay!

This is a hidden gem of a hotel close to the beach and the old town -we recommend!

This place was perfect for us as a base to explore Cartagena . We stayed at this hotel as a family. We really loved the breakfast which was served fresh and with different variations every day. The location was perfect just outside the old town. We could easily walk to restaurants and museums, and the beach.The best part was the people working there. They were all super helpful and friendly and we felt like home they helped us arrange what we needed. We could get a good sleep here only with a little noise from the nearby, karaoke, pub, but they stopped quite early😄 we recommend this small, cozy hotel in Cartagena! the building itself gives us sense of faded glory, but that only adds to the charm

Just small issues about the tiles on the floor outdoors getting dirty really quickly and the outdoor furniture was dusty, but we understood why after staying there a couple of days because the sand was coming in.

Pasé un par de días cómoda, y con ubicación lejos del ruido, pero a 10 minutos del centro caminando.

Lugar cerca pero no ruidoso del cetro. Nos movíamos en coche con mi hija de 3 años, sin problema. Desayuno era un poco limitado, creo que podría mejorar.

Mantener los espacios como jardín y antejardín un poco más limpios. Las sillas y piso estaban muy empolvados y con hojas.

A nice, cozy place away from the bustle of the old town but also not too far

Spacious bedroom, Comfy bed (perfect for two with plenty of space) Super friendly staff, Lots of common area (doesn't feel too crowded).

Coffee was really bad for Colombia standards, Some fixtures need a good deal of dusting (curtain rods, behind bed, bed frame, etc)

Excellent and Economical! One of the best hotels in Cartagena!

The location is 10/10. Located right outside the centro histórico walls, right down the street from the Serrezuela Mall. Even more important for me, it’s located right the street from Marsol, the best mode of transport between Cartagena-Barranquilla-Santa Marta. The hotel is great, my room was huge and everything worked really well. AC excellent, wifi excellent, hot water excellent, clean, nice bed. Great price as well compared to other expensive hotels in Cartagena. One of my favorite hotels. 10/10

The breakfast isn’t the greatest, but it’s a small boutique hotel so you’re not gonna get a big buffet. Still very good thought. Nothing else was lacking.

The hotel is a beautiful old colonial building. The room was spacios, and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was great. The staff was excellent, especially Jaime who gave us a warm welcome and was super helpful throughout our stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect option for Cartagena

This place is really a gem. The staff went out of their way to help us in whatever way possible. Diana, especially was always with a big smile and good advice. Our room -‘Brisa’was beautiful, with really high ceilings a spacious bed as well as a great terrace. The area where the hotel is located is quiet and relaxed, away from the hustle and bustle of the old town. Lastly, the setting for breakfast was great with varied food every day. Would definitely recommend.

This is not a 4 start hotel at all, not even 3. They charged us 3% extra for payment via card, not mentioned on booking.
