An older motel in central location that’s great value for money.

Great rooms and beds but a more modern bathroom would make a massive difference to this family room and finish it off nicely. I liked we could unhitch camper and leave out the back knowing it was all fenced in with security gate. Loved the buffet dinner after a long day driving and Carnarvon was our half way 1 night stop over, however a buffet breakfast from 7am would be good and add to the value of staying with you guys. Unfortunately you can’t change your location as the locals walk to and from town but I think fence around the remaining building would add value.

Unfortunately we were in one of the family rooms that had windows on the road with no fence protection and we didn’t at all feel safe when the locals would walk past and start fighting and arguing, plus the fact cars were driving fast up and down road and at times spinning the wheels. We didn’t sleep well even though the room was nice and beds comfortable we didn’t feel safe as no fence barrier like the rest of the facility and thinking a brick could come through window or car lose control and come through the wall. Another thing aswell when booking on online at booking.com and other sites it states that it’s a large double bed and why not just say a queen as I was sure what a large double was I booked a room with an extra bed just in case.

perfect for our one night stop. would definitely stay again .

It was very clean and neat. I loved the gated security of the place and the location . Fabulous location and very handy having a place to eat and drink on our one night stop. It was just perfect for us .

Would definitely recommend - provides secure parking - good sized room - comfortable and affordable

Would certainly stay again. The restaurant was great and the staff friendly.

The room was big and roomy

There was nothing to complain about. The only comment I would say that there was a toaster but no plate or knife if you wanted to toast bread.

Wow, pleasantly surprised!

Our stay at Carnarvon Motel was amazing as soon as we walked through the door to check in. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I asked the wonderful house keeping staff where the laundry was and they went out of their way to walk me directly to it, bonus was the washing machines and dryer had a card option rather than just cash. We stayed in a family room which was perfect, with single beds in the main part and queen bed just behind it in a seperate section. The bed sheets were soft and very comfortable, room very clean. We had dinner at the motel restaurant, wow! I was pleasantly surprised to see a CLEAN high chair for my 10 month old daughter and it was a padded high chair. We’ve travelled Australia and it was the first high chair that wasn’t filthy dirty. Absolutely amazing hot plate steak, and buffet sides (salads, veg, kids meal) ready to eat and very fresh, delicious. Great arcade games to keep older kids entertained. Loved our stay so much! Bonus was we had plenty of parking for our camping trailer, in a secure fenced parking area.

Nice room, good facilities and good location

The room was huge, and nice and cool. The bathroom was perfectly adequate too. I appreciate the the owners left a note stating what they were working on in terms of upgrades, and that the place was undergoing some updating. Shower pressure was lovely and strong! Bed really comfortable.

We stayed in Room 1 which is right on the road. Normally this is ok, but it was noisy and there was a group of people who got off the bus outside the room early one morning. Then we heard scratching on the Air-con unit which is outside of the security fence area and think that the crowd were drawing on it. Advice is to ask for a room away from the main entrance to avoid noise. We didn't feel unsafe at all but the noise did keep us up

The room was very spacious. They closed the gate at 8:00pm so we felt safe. The room was dated but clean. Only carpet needed special cleaning.

A pleasant stay in a well-=priced friendly motel

All the staff were warm and friendly. The facilities in the room were good and represented value for money. The bed was very comfortable. The hot rocks meals in the dining room were delicious and the buffet was good.

The internet was slow and weak most of the time.
