The booking and communication was good but somewhat confusing as the check in and check out times were different between the VRBO communication and Destination Big Bear communication.
The cabin itself was a nice looking cabin in a good location however it wasn’t clean and within a couple hours of being there we lost power to several outlets. The guest toilet is broken with chain falling off flush lever, dishwasher is broken, several bedroom door locks don’t work and downstairs heater broken. The heater and jacuzzi worked well and showers were clean. If a little money was put in this cabin for some of the problems stated above, this cabin would have been perfect.

Checking in at the office was simple and fast. Easy to get to because it was close to the cabin. Neighborhood is nice and calm. It’s location is close to many good restaurants.

The cabin was both cozy and breath taking. The beds were very comfy and it was very clean. The cabin was full of charm with modern amenities, we appreciated that they trusted my family and I to enjoy this beautiful jewel.

Nice cabin for family
This was a wonderful cabin for the family. The hot tub and the pool table brought lots of fun! The pictures were slightly misleading as it looks like there are no neighbors near the cabin. So the area that looks like it’s the garage is actually the neighbors garage instead. Aside from that everything went well! I do wish they allowed a keypad entry only instead of having to check in to the management office and waste time in line etc .

Plenty of room for multiple families. Clean with all the necessities. Hot tub and Franklin stove not operable (hot tub listed as inoperable). Beds not the most comfortable but plenty of them. Large open floor plan, big kitchen with modern appliances, Pool table, WiFi and TV with apps provided for a great stay. Location to lifts and town are ideal. Would book again except for the hot tub.

Beautiful Place!
Had a great time at this cabin! The pictures, although nice, do no justice in presenting how huge and spacious this cabin is. It's very nicely located and of course the Jacuzzi and pool room are a huge plus. The kitchen also comes with everything, fully stocked which I thought was nice. Overall had a wonderful time!

Loggy was a really great place to celebrate my 40th birthday with friends. The patio was a prime gathering spot during the day and the kitchen, living room, and hot tub were excellent spots for spending time in the evenings. We unfortunately didn't use the lower level much since the pool table is in very poor condition. I loved the quirky little paintings and accents around the house. There are a few things in disrepair, but that is to be expected in any older home. It would have been nice to have more than 4 parking spaces since people were arriving at different times, but we were able to find other parking options fairly close. Having a wood fire in the living room was a fun addition and I think everyone had a great weekend. Thank you for having us, Big Bear!

The house was sufficient for our group although we all agreed we would not rent this unit again. Here are just a few of the reasons why: one wash cloth in the entire house for 11 guests, no pot holders ( 1 dishtowel) in the kitchen, dirty and run down carpeting, creaking floors, lots of lights didn't work, back deck needed cleaning but no broom any where to be found, no vacuum to clean up if needed, pool sticks had no tips ( we played with the opposite ends), lots of trouble with TV sound ( it was way too low with the regular TV on and way too loud with a DVD on), kitchen tiles literally fell off the counter and you literally have to walk across overgrown weeds to get to front porch. It wouldn't take much to make this a place worth going to. I don't ask for much but I want the outside to be clean and manicured. I want there to be sufficient towels and washcloths. I want there to be pot holders to get hot dishes out of an oven. I'd love a broom and vacuum to clean up each day. With 11 guests, lots of crumbs and stuff gets dropped. How can you clean up after yourself without a broom or vacuum? In other words, you get what you pay for. Don't rent this place if you wouldn't be happy in a Motel 6 or real budget style place. Pay more and get something with more pride of ownership if you want it to be a special family vacation.

Very outdated, needed some good housecleaning but sufficient

Great place for a large number of people. We had a blast!
The house is large and homey. The downstairs heater didn't work and it took a long time for the refrigerator to cool down but we could handle the issues no problem. The staff at destination big bear was very responsive if we had wanted them to come out. I would recommmend the loggy for a large gathering with people you love.

Tired and worn, but a fun place
My first impression walking up the broken walkway to the front door and entering to worn out carpet was not positive. However, the more I was in the place the better I liked it. It was chock full of beds; with two or three in each of the four bedrooms, and with three full baths, it easily accommodated our group of 7 adults and three children. Our four year old granddaughter, upon walking around for the first time kept saying, "I just love this place!" I think her impressions were mostly colored by the full basket of toys in the bedroom with the bunk beds and a liberal sprinkling of teddy bears around that made it very welcoming for her. On Saturday night, we had another three adults and four more kids over for dinner and the place swallowed the whole group, with the teenagers downstairs playing pool and the adults sitting in the living room/kitchen. Plenty of room for everyone.
The two four year olds loved the downstairs where they could hang out with the teenagers but watch their own movie on the downstairs TV.
The kitchen appliances are new and work great. Bring your own fry pans if you are particular about that, but the knives were good and there were plenty of silverware and dishes to serve our 17 people for dinner Saturday night.

Planning on returning!!
I would first like to start by saying that we had an absolute blast in Loggy!
I had very many concerns, such as is it accurate to the pictures, will my entire group fit? While the house itself on the outside is gorgeous, the inside has it's own charm, it may seem dated but it gives the place a homey feel. Not once did we feel like we rented out a strangers house, we felt right at home. The location was perfect we wanted to get away from it all and although we had neighbors we felt secluded. The service from the employees was phenomenal, we have a group of 13 and had very many questions and opinions, but through it all the staff was friendly and very patient with us. The property was very clean and maintained. We all slept comfortably which was a huge concern of mine, the layout was perfect the kitchen upstairs with a living room and the pool/ entertainment room was downstairs even though we were a large group we never felt crowded! The 3 decks/ balconies offer excellent views and a true cabin feel. We did not really go out into town except to buy stuff we were missing, instead we decided to stay home enjoy each others company both nights we drank a couple cold ones played a couple rounds of pool and even watched a movie or two and although we didnt go out we never found ourselves bored which is awesome! I 100% recommend this place if you're looking for charm, space, and are on a budget! Worth every penny! Not to mention my group and I are considering heavily on renting Loggy out for my upcoming birthday in mid August if its available!
