Comfortable accommodation for a good price.
Location is just a short walk to anywhere.
Jason, the host, is extremely helpful.
The porch is where everyone gathers to relax and plan the next hike.
The toilets could be a bit better.

Best location right by river and in town, super clean hostel (one of cleanest we've stayed in ever), nice communal outdoor space, Jason who runs it is super helpful and friendly. Nice privacy in beds with curtains and outlets/lights by bed. Overall one of best hostels I've stayed in and best value lodging available in Taman Negara.

Beste Lage, direktes Angebot Touren von da aus zu buchen (war immer in kleineren Gruppen als über NKS), superschöne Aussicht von Terasse und Zimmer aus, super Leute, Jason! :)

Clean, comfortable and in the best location. Jason is a great host and made sure we were taken care of during our stay!

Chill hostel hangout with basic amenities but great location outside the park and one of the best views in town! Free coffee/tea was a perk and seemingly the only place in town that sold beer which was a bonus! Also, Jason, who runs the hostel, is great!
It’s a hostel so shared, dorm-style rooms is always an adjustment. Shared, single showers and bathrooms are basic but clean. Communal hangout space is outdoor patio, which we really enjoyed using, but just limited space in general.

Nice place, excellent location, lovely host.
6 bed dorm is very small and little space for all the luggage. 4 bed is perfect.
Lockers would be great. Area to hang out quite small and very hot in the afternoon.

Lovely little place in prime location to both enter Taman Negara and watch it from just across the river. Hats off to the one man dream team Jason - the place is spotless, fab advice and hospitality and didn't hear a bad song in the communal spaces 😄

The location of the hostel is great, right by the river & entrance to the National Park. Jason can organise tours for you (generally cheaper than what the bus companies try to sell you on the way in) and give advice on what areas you're able to visit by yourself for free. The hostel is kept very clean & a nice comfortable stay.

Amazingly well-maintained place by one-man army Jason! Bathrooms were neat and regularly cleaned and the beds were spotless. Had a great stay here for 2 nights. Jason is courteous, sweet and will help with literally anything. Especially if you want to book any activities in the jungle. A+.
No ATMs here so don’t forget to bring cash.

One of the nicest places I've ever stayed at. The location couldn't be better, and the hostel has an amazing laid-back and chill vibe to it. All the rooms are facing the river and the jungle, and you get an unbelievably beautiful view right from your bed. Jason is an amazing host, who really gets out of his way to help the guests with everything they need. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, there are soap dispensers in the showers, and coffee and tea are provided for free. If I ever come back to Taman Negara, I'll definitely stay at Wild Lodge again!

Host is really kind and helpfull with everything! Rooms have ac which is nice because of the jungle heat. Host is very considerate about safety for travelers. Bathroom is basic but clean with hot water! Atmosphere with other travelers is so nice and very easy to meet people to do activities.

Jason is a great host and helps with your needs. I booked my cave hike with him and he choose a damn great guide - Emi :)
There wasn't anything I didn't like apart from the snorer in my room on the first night...but hey that's unavoidable.

It was a great hostel with good vibes and many tours available.
The owner is frindly, funny and he really cares about his hostel.
The location is good and you can refill your water bottle.
The room is small but the AC works perfectly, so nothing to complaint about it.

The location was perfect! Best in the village by far. Jason was great, welcoming and warm. He was there any time, for any need. We will definitely return. It is a shame that the top beds do NOT have curtains or any privacy but the bottoms do.
It was also a little bit of a shame that the bottom beds are reserved first for females or at least we heard the suggestion that the females go below. In a world that we live in today, I do believe in equality but yet I understand the notion of chivalry is still prevalent in Asian culture. Only having an outside communal area meant is was quite tough to battle Mosquitoes whilst having a late night conversation. There was no room for inside expansions so not sure how to combat this but thought it was worth noting! It really was perfect for ours needs and not much to fault.

The host is lovely, very attentive, helpful with all details, engaging with all guests, can help with tours or transfers etc; room was nice, basic, clean, comfy bed, beautiful view over the river, close to bus/boat service, hot and cold water available. I recommend it!
Toilet a bit old, but no big problem.

Best hostel in Taman Negara! Jason is a terrific host and can book all your activities. The dorms are spacious and comfortable with AC & fan, hot water for showers, and drinking water/tea/coffee available all day. Amazing location overlooking the river where the boats depart. Highly recommend!

The host was shutting down the hostel for the weekend because he needed time with his family and to rest. I just wanna say I admire this a lot. He made sure that, even though the hostel is closed and we had to change hostels, he made sure we could refill our water bottles at the reception, in order to reduce plastic waste. This says a lot about him. Thank you!
