Hidden gem for families in Kyoto

Large room was spacious for our family of four. Loved having a little eating area off of the kitchen to relax in after a long day. Front desk staff was super helpful and always greeted us with a smile.

Long lines for laundry. Dryers took forever to dry clothes.

A perfect place for us

Everything! It is just perfect for us, a family of four. The room is big and well designed, everything is high quality and feels new. Quiet, great location and helpful staff.

Great stay, good location near all the sights and bunk beds were fab for the kids.

Modern, clean and kitchen facilities were great. Staff were very helpful throughout, especially in booking a noodle making experience for us.

The rooms were so hot, the a/c was intermittent at night, very odd.

Lovely, spacious and family friendly property.

Close to local train, convenience store across the road, within walking distance to Gion and other tourist spots. Lovely property. Very comfortable and spacious for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 older children) very family friendly. Helpful and friendly staff.

Absolut perfekt!

Hervorragender Aufenthalt im Hotel Mimaru Kawamarachi Gojo Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in einem der großen und wunderschön gestalteten Zimmer zu übernachten. Alles war makellos gepflegt und die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir von der außergewöhnlichen Hilfe des Personals bei der Suche nach einem verlorenen iPad. Sie haben sich wirklich ins Zeug gelegt und uns dabei unterstützt, das Gerät schnell wiederzufinden. Das Personal war insgesamt unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, was unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte. Wir können dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Family Friendly, Foreigner Freindly, 5 Star Staff

Firstly, the whole team were very helpful and approachable with a very special mention to "Mac" who went above and beyond to help us, staff could all speak English which is a big plus for foreign travellers, we've stayed in multiple hotels/villas/apartments within in Japan and found this was by far the most approachable front desk. Hotel has all the amenities you need for self catering and a number of items can be requested for free if required. Honestly can say the team at this Hotel is 5 star keep up the high level of service 👏

ベットが多くそして個室の寝室もあって良かったです。

お風呂に洗面器と椅子が欲しかった。子どもたちが立って洗うのが難しいため。あと壁かけラックが洗面台に一箇所ありましたが、部屋の所々にもラックがあると便利だと思う

非常推薦很適合家庭旅遊

房間空間非常大，很適合帶小孩有廚房要熱食物也很方便行李要全部攤開都不是問題，一樓還有小孩的遊戲空間很友善前面就有一間很大的超市很方便因為在京都租車旁邊前後都有停車位也有當日上限非常方便，很推薦有租車有小孩的家庭可以住這邊最主要的就是他房間空間很~~~大

Just amazing 😊.

Never have we been treated like this! We’ve lived in many hotels over the years but the staff at Mimaru left us speechless. Everyday when going or coming back they warmly greet you and have a friendly chat with you, give you tips and suggestions on activities and are just plain enjoyable to hang out with. What REALLY surprised us was the deep kindness of Risa and Mayu who went the extra mile to make our 8th year anniversary truly special! They’ve heard about which our favorite drinks were so they got them for us, along with a lovely gift (something we were looking to buy ourselves but now became even more special!). This all took us by great surprise and we are deeply thankful. Thank you for an amazing stay and once again thank you Risa and Mayu for making our special day even more special!

Very happy with the stay with a family of 4. Highly recommended. 1 to3 km walking distance to places

Spacious Room, Location, Easy check in, Great Staff, Laundry facility, Market right infront, able to cook in the room to try local produces.

Parking around the area can be expensive if leave after 8am but seem like a normal thing in the area.

Fabulous stay in Kyoto. Warm, friendly, inviting and perfectly located. Highly recommend.

The accommodation was excellent. Comfortable and spacious enough for our family of five. The location was very convenient with a supermarket across the road and convenience stores nearby. The staff were wonderful and were friendly, responsive and accommodating. Perfect for our stay in Kyoto!

My only suggestion would be to include a tea towel in the kitchen. That’s all.

一定會再選擇入住MIMARU

這次旅行有6天都入住MIMARU。飯店設計很有質感且符合人體工學，不管是插座的位置、放乾衣服的架子、雙洗臉台，處處都能感受到飯店的用心。雖然距離地鐵站有一小段路（步行大概10-15分鐘）但房間比市區中心的飯店都大上許多，很適合家庭出遊，三四個行李箱能全部打開。飯店也有烤箱、烤麵包機、火鍋組供借用，在房間煮食非常方便。飯店員工服務也都很用心，面帶笑容讓人感覺舒適。下次旅行會再選擇入住MIMARU, 謝謝招待。

Charming, lovely design, good facilities.

Nicely destined room w kitchenette, great laundry, very nice atmosphere and charming, super helpful staff. We would definitely stay again.

Location is convenient if you are happy to walk / take the metro - it’s a bit out of the centre. Having said that, it’s an easy 16 min walk to/from Kyoto station and the same into the town centre. V convenient fresco supermarket around the corner.

非常好，非常推薦，在大阪也是入住MIMARU，之後去日本都會找這個品牌

可以煮食，特別週末京都吃飯排隊好耐，可以在超市自己買和牛回酒店sabusabu，超市雜貨鋪非常方便

沒有不滿意的，真的非要挑剔就是客廳燈光有點暗，但是不算是不滿意的地方

一泊ではもったいない、できればもっとゆっくり滞在したい。

新しい施設で思った以上に広かった。もっとゆっくりしたいと思うくらい、室内の居心地は良かった。子どもたちが二段ベッドに興奮して楽しく過ごせました。

近隣にコンビニがなかったことくらい。
