Bad bad bad!!!

No breakfast

Room not adequate-no kettle,enough towels, Pretty much NOT A GOOD PLACE TO STAY AND THE PLACE STINKS! No parking!

It was conveniently placed in building next to where the conference I attended was held.

Good basic accommodation. No frills. Well located -not far from station and pleasant walk along river bank away from traffic.

I suppose it would have been better if it had been possible to get simple food such as sandwiches and hot water (for tea or coffee)

Just lovely

Staff were very welcoming and kind, property is very secure and clean, my room was spacious and my bedding clean. Also a short walk away from local supermarkets and pubs.

The shower did not drain properly

Budget accommodation, rooms unbearably hot during the heatwave.

Convenient location and great value. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were very clean. Shower was great.

It was very, very hot. Even with the window open and the fan running overnight, it was unbearably hot. It was the middle of a heatwave, so not surprising, really.

All good. Advise to use JustPark Asda carpark for more affordable and easy parking (the public carpark next to it - not run by this accommodation) is a real pain as they need to be renewed early morning

Good reasonable priced accommodation

Staff was good and cooperative only hair dryer was missing which they provided as prompt response to my request.

The room walls were thin as i could hear constant mumble from the next room

Well located but prepare for substandard facilities

1.Location was good 2. Price was reasonable for the area 3. The building felt safe with fob entry in use everywhere 4. The 24-hour manned reception is an excellent idea 5. The lift is good and clean

1.The mattress was poor quality 2.The bedding wasn't clean and was not changed throughout our 4 night stay 3. The shower floods and the water goes all over the floor making it difficult to use the toilet as it's in the same cubicle 4. There's no kettle or tea making facility in the room 5. No TV in the room 6. No Aircon and room temperature can't be adjusted in the room 7. Carpets were dirty 8. Power points are poorly positioned in the room making difficult to dry your hair while looking in the mirror 9. Kitchen facilities which are shared, are extremely basic, and lacking in every sense. The kitchen was also dirty and was obviously not checked prior to our arrival. 10. The toilet paper (which was poor quality) also appeared to be rationed. 11. Poor ventilation in the shower/toilet room makes it difficult to see the mirror

if you want somewhere reasonably priced, clean and close to all travel links this is it

we always stay here when we come down for the rugby, very easy links into Cardiff

lack of car parking, disappointed that the huge pay and display carpark next to the accommodation had closed fire alarm going off at 12.30am !!!

Cheap, basic and not disabililty friendly. You get what you pay for.

You give them all your info via booking.com - this then needs to be duplicated in writing on arrival. Door buzzer didn't work so security couldn't hear me to open the door. when he eventually saw me, told me I should have rung the buzzer. £5 to pay for disabled parking (they don't take card payment according to the security guard on asking as I didn't have cash but the welcome sheet says they do not handle cash) - eventually agreed I could park FOC as really not sure how I was supposed to pay otherwise. Booked a disabled room, all emergency ties were cable-tied up to near the ceiling and unfortunately I didn't realise this until 4 in the morning after I dislocated my knee and couldn't contact security (phone was on charge on the other side of the room). Raised this on check-out was told they would investigate but did not take my details or the room details. Was advised that they routinely do this unless they are advised the room needs to be accessible - why would I ask for a disabled room if I didn't think that this might be a need? Bed was like sleeping on a wooden board, no padding in the mattress at all so slept with the duvet and my clothes under me to get some comfort. This was my second visit and certainly did not live up to my expectations from my first visit - can't see me being back.

Good

Very good price, very comfortable bed and a decent, functional room (including bathroom). I also had a nice view over the river, and the transporter bridge. The fan was a God-send.

I guess I was unlucky but there was a fair bit of noisy to and fro in the communal areas of the flat late at night (after midnight). And the communal lounge / kitchen didn’t smell good, I steered clear.

Clean, polite staff, no sleep guaranteed .

Place was clean, check-in went smooth, staff was nice, good location right by the town center and some nice restaurants close by.

Room and halls were so badly ventilated (if at all) it ruined the stay. Tiny fan provided in the room did not help at all.

The shower was really strong and the complimentary soaps and towels were a great touch. The reception staff were very helpful and they have a taxi booking service avaliable at the front entrance. The room felt secure through a key card system.

No milk on site and no milk in the vending machines. A late check in meant we had to have black tea for the first day. Room go quite warm and if you open the window the hotel is near a busy street. WIFI for guests switches off every 2 days and you have to register. Very annoying
