Very cheap nice clean place, surrounded by a lot of green. Very friendly personal with great service and amazing food. The lady told me glady about all their plants in their garden. They arranged good and cheap safari, transport for our next destination and we even got 2 bottles of water for on the way. Perfect place.

Estaba muy limpio, la cama estaba muy cómoda y una mosquitera muy bien colocada para prevenir los insectos. Había aire acondicionado que funcionaba fenomenal. El personal era muy amable e incluso hicimos con ellos el safari de Yala que nos lo dejaron a un precio muy competitivo vs otras compañías y con un jeep de los mejores. Es muy recomendable. Después de hacer el safari nos dejaron ducharnos sin coste en otra habitación (vacía) aunque ya pasábamos la hora del check out

Super nettes Personal, hatten noch alte Bananen übrig und durften uns davon kostenlos einen Smoothie machen. Auch haben sie uns dann kostenlos zur Bushaltestelle gefahren.

La Safari Inn ist wie im britischen Kolonialstil gehalten. Man sitzt im wunderschönen tropischen Garten auf der gemütlichen Terrasse unter dem Ventilator oder liegt in der Hängematte. Es ist ruhig und friedlich. Die Eigentümer sind unglaublich freundlich und organisieren perfekt und günstig die An- und Weiterreise, wenn man das möchte. Ich empfehle unbedingt über die Unterkunft eine Safari in den Yala Nationalpark oder den Bundala NP mit Menaka Safari zu buchen. Menaka hat sehr viel Erfahrung und ist ein außergewöhnlich guter Guide! Mit ihm haben wir 2 x Leoparden gesehen.
Die Betten sind schön groß und sehr bequem und das Essen im La Safari Inn ist sehr lecker und wird immer frisch zubereitet.

Excelente Servicio y bonitas instalaciones, nos dieron bebida de bienvenida, nos ayudaron con la reservación del safari a muy buen precio y al final hasta nos llevaron gratis a la estación de bus. Los trabajadores se esfuerzan porque uno se sienta cómodo y bien atendido.

Prima kamer met een lekker ontbijtje voor wat je betaald. Ook dichtbij Yala National Park zodat je kan worden opgehaald als je een safari wilt doen.

We stayed here for one night. Very good staff. They picked us up from the bus stop for free of charge .. The room and bathroom were very clean. Staff is very friendly . The food in the restaurant is also very delicious. In the evening we were given free bicycles to go to the city. They also arranged a jeep for us to go on safari the next morning at a very reasonable price. Their safari is excellent. They have a very experienced driver. If you are thinking of going on safari, this is the right place.

A very good accommodation. We saw their reviews on google and tripadvisor. After reading them, we decided to stay here. It seemed like a very good decision. We came with the intention of going on a safari with them. They gave us a very precious safari. We went on safari to see leopard. We were lucky enough to see four leopards. The driver is a really great person. We saw a lot of animals. The driver gave us very valuable information about the animals. The hotel staff was also very good. Everything was good.

We accidentally went the wrong way to town and ended up going down a drug dealer’s street and my partner nearly had her phone stolen as someone rode by! Make sure you ask the accommodation which way to walk to town, not the way google shows you.

Ich war dort mit meiner Frau auf einer Full Day Safari. Wir haben eine Shared Tour gemacht. Was uns besonders gefallen hat war die Leopardenbegegnung. Man hat uns darauf aufmerksam gemacht einen leiseren Jeep zu nehmen vom Hotel, damit die Tiere nicht weglaufen. Das hat sich auch gelohnt auch wenn es etwas teurer war. Vom Zimmer her haben wir ein Zimmer erhalten mit Klimaanlage und heissen Wasser. Anfangs hatten wir ein normales Zimmer gebucht, aber das Hotel hatte uns darauf hingewiesen ein Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und heissen Wasser zu nehmen. Dafür sind wir dem Hotel dankbar. Es ist wirklich besser ein klein wenig mehr auszugeben bei der Witterung in Sri Lanka. Wichtig: Immer Fenster und Türen schliessen. Diesen Hinweis konnten wir nachvollziehen. Das Restaurant im Hotel war zu Fuss leicht erreichbar. Es gab 2 Speisekarten. International und Sri Lanka Karte. Wir haben die Sri Lanka Karte gewählt, aber wichtig ist als Österreicher zu sagen weniger scharf bitte (Medium). Gegessen haben wir Kottu Roti. Das war sehr lecker. Die Wartezeit auf das essen war sehr kurz. Wir kommen gerne wieder

We can say that it is the best place we have been in Sri Lanka. There is nothing wrong with the place. The staff is very kind. The room and the bathroom are very clean. We were welcomed very well. They gave us a very delicious dinner. Especially if you want to go on a safari, this is the best place. A very good driver and a new and comfortable jeep. We saw two leopards and many other animals. We were really happy. They gave us a taxi to go to Arugambay for a very low price.

Great place to stay. Everything here is very good. In particular, if you want to stay here, you should reserve a date early. Because this place is always booked by people. The rooms were very clean. The staff are very good people. The food is very delicious. I want to say more that we went on a safari from them and it was excellent. The driver and the jeep were very good. We saw leopards and many animals. Also they have a taxi service. The prices are very reasonable. If you guys are coming for safari, this is the place. 100% Recommended.

Świetnie zorganizowane safari. Byliśmy jednym z pierwszych aut. Kierowca bardzo sprawny, uprzejmy i zaangażowany. Pokój rezerwowaliśmy na jedną noc i spełniał nasze wymagania. Cena przystępna, klimatyzacja sprawna (było bardzo gorąco więc polecamy tą opcję), smaczne posiłki za rozsądna cenę. Śniadanie jedzone podczas Safari, z pięknym widokiem na zawsze pozostanie w naszej pamięci…

Na zorganizowanym Safari kierowca był niemiły. Nie jest to wina obiektu, ale psuje trochę cały odbiór.
Problemem jest zamawianie jedzenia - bez względu na porę słyszeliśmy że jest too late na śniadanie, lunch czy kolację, ale finalnie udało nam się zamówić po małej wymianie zdań.

Lovely home stay in Nature. The room was very spacious with good a/c and ceiling fan. The bathroom had a decent shower for Sri Lankan standards with hot water.
They lended us two bikes for free for us to cycle around the area (highly suggested!) - the area is surrounded by rice paddies, the lake and numerous stupa temples. We enjoyed the cycle to town, as it is not located in Tissa.
A few supermarkets nearby.
The dinner was handy to have in location as I wouldn't have walked at night to town.
It was also quite good and very cheap.
They offered us fresh pineapple juice on our arrival which was highly appreciated
Easy to book the safari with them with pick up at 4.30am to be among the first cars in the park. The driver was a nice man and was able to spot a leopard for us!
We didn't have a chance to really enjoy breakfast as we booked the safari with them and had breakfast during the safari. Because we were on the move it wasn't the richest of breakfasts. Some warm drinks would have been appreciated.

Das Personal war meist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als unser Tuktuk bei der Abreise nicht starten wollte, haben sie uns geholfen.
Insgesamt kann ich das La Safari Inn leider nicht empfehlen. Das Badezimmer wurde vor unserer Ankunft nicht geputzt. In der Dusche klebten fremde Haare. Die Toilette roch stark nach Urin. Das ist aus meiner Sicht ein absolutes No-Go. Gleiches gilt für den Fingernagel, den ich in meinem Saft gefunden habe. Als ich das Personal darauf aufmerksam machte, haben sie sich nicht entschuldigt. Der Saft wurde mir berechnet.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen all unsere Wünsche erfüllt.
Etwas abgelegen und doch ein Stückchen weiter entfernt von Eingang des Yala Nationalparks. Die Safari im Yala ist nicht zu empfehlen. Das liegt nicht nur an der Unterkunft. Der Fahrer von der Unterkunft war etwas hektisch und nur darauf aus den Leoparden zu sehen. Deswegen ist es wahrscheinlich ratsam vorher mit dem Fahrer zu sprechen auf was bei der Safari wert gelegt wird. Aber generell ist der Yala Park so überfüllt, dass man mit den Safari-Autos immer um die beste Sicht auf die Tiere kämpft was die Safari etwas unentspannt für einen selbst aber natürlich auch für die Tiere im Park macht.

Everything corresponds to the description. In the afternoon, before arriving, I asked to be included in the group for the safari at 4:30 in the morning and everything was done, it was very convenient. Everything is as in the photo. The room was quiet and comfortable with a ceiling fan. I was lucky with the safari, there were only 2 people in the jeep besides me, the leopards unfortunately were hiding in the depths of the park, but they saw everyone else, I was killed! Advice, it’s better to take the first half of the day, it usually rains in the second, but of course check the forecast. Safari now costs $55.
The owners are very caring. There is a restaurant, very tasty and reasonable prices. Great place for a couple of nights!

The property was perfect for what we needed, organised our full day safari for us and the owner was very friendly. Sajee our safari driver was absolutely amazing, found us every animal in the park and knew exactly where to go for different things, a lot of experience even took us to a Hilltop temple after the safari which we never even knew about!

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, wir werden sogar von der Busstation abgeholt. Frühstück wie Abendessen waren sehr schmackhaft und vielfältig. Die Organisation einer Safari war kurzfristig zum fairen Preis möglich. Wie die Safari selbst abläuft hängt allerdings von Fahrer ab, unserer war glücklicherweise darauf bedacht dem Gedränge der Jeeps aus dem Weg zu gehen.
