Very good all round rooms food and staff

I could not sleep in the room. It was dusty, filthy and poorly kept, and the manager still had the audacity to take my money. Not fair at all

Convenient. Very friendly staff. Food pretty good.
Rather run down and not very clean, and the bed a bit lumpy, but very limited choice in worksop and this is good value.

great food and lovely staff.
shared bathroom and toilet but wasn’t a problem for one night and if staying longer would book a en-suite room.

Booked the wrong day online and manager helped me sort it, even lending me a phone charger as my phone was dead.
Lovely place. Great facilities and ran perfectly.
Having to leave.

The bed was comfy and the staff were friendly.
We were lucky enough to have a shower in out room but it did work properly so had to use the communal one which wasn't clean or up.to standard. The back of our toilet was leaking and according to looking at previous rates from years years ago has been leeking a very long time. The paint was peeling off the walls in the room. Lastly everytime someone in the hotel had a shower our room made a god awful noise, sometimes in the early hours. Room 5.

Very clean room, perfect for an overnight stay, friendly welcome, the shower room was quite small and tired but perfectly serviceable. The room matched my requirements perfectly and I would use again without hesitation.
In all honesty the only thing that really needs to be updated is the shower room. They don't serve breakfast however this was not a problem as advised of a great cafe for a full English.

None just a place to pasa a night.
The heating wasn't working very cold during the night.

Perfectly adequate stay. The room was clean and tidy and there was no real noise or disturbance from the pub below. The shared bathroom had everything you needed and the bed was actually really comfortable.
You have to remember you're NOT comparing this with a 4 star hotel. This is just somewhere to stay if you happen to be in Worksop for the evening.
There was a little bit of confusion where to leave the room key at the end of the stay - could be better informed. No breakfast options available either but again for £35 you can't complain for a safe night's sleep.

The room, staff and Price

staff were fantastic
food was great
unless I had room 15 I wouldn’t stay there again. i couldn’t even sit on my toilet as it had no room in front of it for legs
3.5
Pleasant professional staff - good size car park ( though people poorly parked taking up excess room - needs to be marked out) - good strength shower
Bed was awful - small room housing toilet, sink, and shower -

The welcome was warm and genuine. The room was a nice temperature and I had a cracking night's sleep.
Yes the rooms look very tired but what do you expect for £50?

First impressions were not favourable, the peeling paint and fading signs to the exterior were evidence of what was to come.
This is a public house with rooms, not a hotel.
On arrival, you check in at the pleasant public house bar, you must present a credit card to secure the room; if you do not then you will not stay, the booking conditions stated that there was no prepayment required and you pay when you arrive, however, this is not the case and the ‘hotel’ will take payment prior to arrival.
The upstairs accommodation is extremely run down, requiring a refurbishment and at least a very good clean.
The route to the room was via corridors of filth and uncared-for space, outside the room was a large pile of used linen.
The room allocated was right on the main road into the town, so residents will experience constant noise throughout the night.
The mattress on the bed was very old and stained, leaving me with a bad back. The housekeeping staff could not even be bothered to tuck in the sheets, pillows were also old and stained, and the duvet was awful. No bedside light, the only light switch was by the main door. No useable power points in the room made it impossible to charge phones or laptops.
The walls were dirty, the carpets badly stained and marked by iron burns, all surfaces were covered in dust, and the kettle was full of stale water.
The only place to sit was either on the bed or on a child’s stool under the television table.
Plus points were few but the television and Wi-Fi were good.
The head housekeeper is delusional and arrogant in believing that she is doing anything like a good job.
They do not provide any breakfast service at the ‘hotel’ and the place they recommended on the adjacent station has been permanently closed for three years. There is nowhere close by to get food in the morning.
The ‘hotel’ is not worth the price being asked for and is a place to be avoided at all costs, as the owners and management obviously

I had a coach trip booked and needed an early start. The place I usually stay at was fully booked on the Friday. My uncle used to stop at the Station hotel and said the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
I had a shared toilet/bathroom. I was next to the toilet and the door was quite loud when it opened/closed which woke me up so next time I might select a room that is en suite.

Nothing
Room. Bathroom disgusting to small not clean tiles dirty in shower bottom. Could hear boiler during night. Early morning swearing from workmen in yard. Everyone needs a breakfast.

No breakfast, but acceptable for the price.
