Great for the price, good transport links, friendly cleaning staff.
I liked the location close to public transport, the room came with a fan which was perfect for this hot weather, overall it was brill for the price Special shout out to one of the people that was cleaning on the weekend of Saturday 17th, a gentleman, he was so friendly and couldn’t help us more! Credit to your team!
Room would have been with a window especially due to how hot the weather was. The lift is awfully slow

Basic felt secure. But beds need attention - Mattress covers etc
The receptionist was lovely. Although a bit weird to be asked for 2 photo proof of ID - I do not have any photo ID so she accepted 2 credit cards in the same name - given I had booked it just 30 mins before. The place was clean and bright with plants around to stop the white walls looking stark. The room was a good size but the train track was right outside and no net curtain or blinds at the windows so either had to close the dark curtains of flash those outside when dressing or after a shower ! Bathroom V nice and big shower with personalised shampoo and body and hand wash. Good towels and good cotton duvet cover. seemed to have a few people staying (encountered in the lift - but the room was quiet - no sound of others TVs or talking through the walls which can happen in some places.
The air con was broken and lights just flashing - they must have been aware as there was a cheap but effective fan in the room. Wasn't told this when checking in which would have been nice. especially given the hot spell when I stayed. The TV was stuck with subtitles and no way to remove ( I tried over and over with the remote) The bed ! ----- the bottom sheet was just laid over the mattress not tucked in so when sat on the bed it moved and the mattress could be seen. just lazy housekeeping.... The mattress was clean enough - a few minor stains but nothing too upset.... BUT there was no mattress cover - which meant that the top of the mattress was covered in bobbles where it had rubbed against the sheet and obviously humans in bed moving around. The these bobbles meant it was like sleeping in a bed of toast crumbs - I ended up putting a towel over the top of the sheet and sleeping on that. The bed also seemed to slope toward the head board which I didn't like so slept upside down - with my head at the foot of the bed and yes on the towel which was softer than the zillions of bobbles under the thin sheet. The noise of the trains did not bother me too much but it might others. There is no carpet so you have to take care coming out of the bathroom after a shower not to slip on the resin floor. There is a bath mat - so that helped, but other should take care as I did slip. Also high up dusting should be down at least weekly

comfortable, affordable london stay
comfy bed, central location, good value for money
bit noisy being right next to the train tracks but they did give me earplugs which did help drown out the noise.

Super, um London zu erkunden
Super Familienzimmer mit Stockbetten. Lage direkt an der Overground, super praktisch. Es war ruhig und sauber, Frühstücksmöglichkeiten, Bars und Pubs gibt es in der Nähe.

Second Time Not So Good
This is the second time I have stayed here when I arrive from overseas. The location to public transport, restaurants other fun areas is excellent. Price point reasonable for London. Room was small with shared bathroom, I never saw anyone else use it, everything was clean and it is what I booked.
It just felt tired. My pillow was paper thin and I had to ask for a second one. Toilet brush was disgusting, it sounds petty but we all have to occasionally use it and seriously they don't cost alot to replace. Look to the details Kip. I had booked a third a third stay but cancelled as there are lots of other choices.

Decent enough for just over £100 and very handy for train and entertainment venues.
The room was compact but had everything I needed for a one-night stay. The shower room was good. Aircon was present and worked well enough, although the room was on the warm side at allegedly 18DegC. I went to see The Pogues 40th Anniversary gig for Red Roses for me at the Hackney Empire and then on to the MOTH Club for the aftershow party. One of the best nights of my life, and the hotel was very handy for both venues and the train station.
Reception could have been a bit friendlier, but were OK. While I had a double bed, it was just me, but I'm tall, so slept an an angle. Not an issue for me, but would have been for a couple. Trains kept me awake on and off throughout the night, as while I was on the 3rd floor, I was overlooking the station. Windows weren't particularly sound-proofed, so I was woken up a few times.
