Location, external balcony, communication before and during stay, helpfulness of host, recommendations she gave
Steep stairs without handrail only concern

Perfectly located apartment in a quiet side-street, close to Piazza Vecchia. The apartment has good space, and a nice balcony with a view to the Piazza. The balcony is perfect for breakfast or a late-night drink. Great input from the owner regarding places to see in Bergamo, and restaurants. The shuttle-service (additional charge) from/to the aiport was convenient.
The aircondition has its limitations. It is quite noisy and is not very effective for the sleeping-area.

Great location for strolling the upper city. The apartment was clean and well provided with breakfast items, coffee, tea etc. The host was extremely accessible and helpful throughout our stay.
The air conditioning unit is in the living area but does not efficiently cool the upstairs sleeping area. The AC does not have plumbing to manage the condensate from the unit, so one is required to empty a bottle it drains into every few hours (note: it was very hot while we were in Bergamo, so we ended up using the AC unit more than we would have liked to). The stairway up to the bedroom is steep/narrow, so caution needs to be exercised when ascending/descending (particularly at night/in the dark).

Great location and service, and lovely old building.

The provisions which were left for breakfast were ideal and the location was exceptional.
There was nothing we didn't like although the stairs to the mezzanine floor could be made more safe by fixing a ballustrade.

Very well appointed and excellent proximity to the centre
Only the rain!

What a beautiful apartment, even better than the pictures! A lot of space, had pastries, cheese, juice etc. in the fridge. The location was right in the middle of the beautiful upper town, but at the same time very quiet. Really couldn't be better.
The visit was too short ;)

Location next to the main square in Bergamo.
Vaulted ceilings.
Kitchen was not clean (perhaps the previous guests left things dirty?)
Poor quality pots, pans, cutlery.
Be sure to run the hot water for a long time to allow it to heat up.

Cute
Stairs need grip and handrail accident waiting to happen

Fabulous cosy bedroom. Bathroom facilities, the bath is small but so relaxing not an issue at all. The character of the apartment is authentic, I would live there. Service is super friendly and we were allowed to check in early. We were left with varied food basket and fridge stocked with eggs, cheese, meats, juice, mi,k and water. Perfect location. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Location couldn't be better, very spacious and nice on the inside, loved everything about the apartment. Very friendly staff and very generous breakfast. I would definitely return
Only issue was checkout at 10am, but seems to be common in italy

Very nice host who provided us with the excellent restaurants recommendation. Location is just breathtaking, right next to the main plaza. The fridge was full of breakfast products, apartament was spacious enough, with a small balcony. Overall everything was great.

location is superb, less then a minute from piazza Vecchia. couldn’t be better. The studio radiates charm and character, has a little balcony from which you can watch people go by on the piazza.
For people with a disability or whom are less mobile I would not recommend because of the steep stairs inside the appartment and the shower being less comfortable

Excellent location, and extensive fixings for breakfast were available (eggs, prosciutto, cheese, yogurt, jam, breads, coffee, milk, juice).

Great location in the Citta Alta (upper city). You literally walk out the front door into a side street that opens onto Piazza Vecchia.
If you’re taking the bus from the train station, don’t get off where Google Maps tells you. You’ll be dragging luggage straight uphill from the city walls. Wait until the bus gets to its turnaround point at the top of the hill, and you’ll have a much more level walk to the apartment. Also, either the 1 or the 1A will get you there.

A cosy place exactly in the Citta Alta, you can see the Piazza Vecchia from the lovely balcony but it's quiet so we had a pleasant night. Nice and comfortable furnished apartment.
We just enjoyed it.

Paola, our fantastic host, met us at the airport. Easy journey to apartment with Paola advising of the best way to see the city and excellent recommendations of the local area and best restaurants. The apartments location was absolutely perfect. Right at the centre of the historic Citta Alta. Easy to navigate the town with spectacular views from higher points. Generous supply of breakfast items within apartment .. fruit, eggs, bread, cheeses, meats, pastries etc. Couldn’t have been better... Grazie mille Paola!

First of all the location, also the host - Paola very friendly, helpfully. Interesting place to stay - deserve to have an experience!
Maybe few more towels can be helpfully, also an shower it’s better than existent bath tube which it’s very uncomfortable.
