Communication with owner, spacious apartment, great location.

Sometimes noisy in street at night but we knew this before booking.

Large comfortable apartment in the middle of the town. Highly recommended.

This spacious and very comfortable apartment is in an excellent location near shops, restaurants and all the action! You can hear the noise from the streets at night as we were on the ground floor but the windows block most of this out. Bedrooms were big, beds were comfy, washing machine was convenient, and the kitchen / dining area was large. Located right next door to a lovely bakery, ATM across the street, and we walked to the beaches (and all the way along to the point). It’s a decent walk but it’s a good way to see everything. Communication with the host was excellent. They left us very generous welcome gifts. I loved staying here and I highly recommend this apartment. Thank you!

Loved every minute, felt like a local being in the centre of the old town in an old yet modern refurbished apartment wit

Rooftop terrace, we’ll equipped modern kitchen, large lounge, cool and airy feel, SO close to all cafes, bars and restaurants plus beach only 15mins walk.

The ONLY downside is the noise in an evening - not a complaint as it’s hardly the fault of the apartment or the owner - or even the people making the noise, just a consideration really. If noise doesn’t bother you it’s really not an issue , we managed to fashion some pretty effective soundproofing by just placing cushions in between window and wooden shutters in the bedroom and it sorted the problem, even for my other half who is an incredibly light sleeper.

Very nice apartment with privat rooftop in the midle of the old town, perfect for our family!

We were greeted by Jorge, a very nice host. The apartment was great with a very nice roof terrace. We lived in the middle of the old town with a short distance to most everything. Jorge answered all questions quickly, gave good tips and advice and helped us with ordering a boat trip. A place we can absolutely recommend!

We had a very good experience and nothing we didn't like.

Best place to stay in Lagos

Everything was perfect at Henri's. Jorge is a very nice person, and communication was perfect. All our requests were solved quickly, and we haven't anything to complain. The apartment is big enough for 5 people and has more than you will need on your holiday. The location is even better - you will be 100% in the city centre.

Nothing to complain. But, as you're in the city center it is normal to have people/city noise by night. Be aware of that.

No outlet close to the mirror in the bathroom (to use the hairdryer).

A spacious, well appointed apartment that provides easy access to all of Lagos.

The location was great! Near many restaurants and walkable to the beach and many other attractions. The apartment is very spacious. We really appreciated the drinks and snacks that Jorge left for us! What a wonderful thing to have a glass of wine after a long day of traveling.

It was a bit noisy at night from the club that is very close and the hotel across the street. But to us it was worth for the central location. We knew about the noise before we booked.

Spacious apartment in the city center convenient to everything .

We loved the rooftop area and the spacious apartment. Beds were comfortable. We were welcomed with fresh bread and cold beer and wine! Our organizer ,Jorge ,couldn't have been any nicer. He has the perfect personality to organize his guests and make sure they are cared for and happy.

I would have liked to leave windows open at night, but as we were in the middle of the town it was a bit too noisy to leave windows open. With windows closed the occasional noise during the nights was very manageable.

Very friendly host, extremely helpful. Nice greeting wine/bread/beers available :) walking distance to beaches, local bars, restaurant, supermarkt, etc

Toilet seat was pretty bad, didnt fit , kept falling down on our backs. Apartment was wall to wall with a very loud local bar , which made sleeping quite hard. had to use headphones and/or play white noise.

Impeccable

We’ve been booking accommodation through Booking.com for 25 years. Henri’s apartment was the best equipped of any we have visited, including wine and beer in the fridge when we arrived 😊. Host Jorge could not have been more helpful with recommendations and assistance with booking car rental and boat tour. Perfect central location for exploring Lagos on foot. Heartily recommend this place.

The only thing to pay attention to is that, if you are staying Friday or Saturday nights, the billiard hall downstairs lets out quite late and patrons are quite noisy until all hours. If this bothers you, bring earplugs. The rest of the week, the neighbourhood is very quiet.

Comfortable, homey, relaxing and convenient.

What didn’t I like? The location was perfect, the apartment had everything, the bed was comfortable, it was clean and Jorge couldn’t have been nicer. Did I mention there was parking - in a garage!

Exceptional

Location was excellent. Right in the city center, 1 minute walking to everything in Lagos. Safe, secure, and inexpensive parking is just 1 block away. Kitchen was a bit wonky but functional nonetheless. Apartment had all of the amentiites you could need, washer, dishwasher, fully stocked kitchen, A/C and heat in the bedrooms and living room. Great place for a great value.

The WiFi didn't reach to the kitchen, so it made it difficult to sit at the table and do some work.

Very fine apartment, in a great location. Provided with sense for detail and a lot of space. Price has been really convenient. Well equipped. Everything we needed has been there. Lovely.

Superb

Beautiful, roomy apartment. Tastefully decorated with comfy furniture and really nice art. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need. Sweet roof top deck with views. Within walking distance of almost everything. Loved the original tiles and quirky layout. Made us feel at home. The host was so great! We loved this place.

Only con to this rental was the noise at night.. There is a bar under the rear bedroom and it plays loud music until the wee hours of the morning. Had to go buy noise deafening ear phones to sleep. The other bedroom wasn't as bad. I think the other apartments in the building aren't affected as much. If you aren't a light sleeper, no problem.

we had a wonderful stay in Lagos at Henri’s apartment.

Honestly we loved everything about the property, location, apartment was very large, two bathrooms, extremely clean. The host Jorge was also very helpful and accommodating, especially when we had a last minute change of plans.

the only thing was a little bit the noise on a Friday and Saturday night, but honestly we were well aware of that in advance and brought ear plugs so it was not a real issue.

Just book it!

The hosts are some of the most courteous people we have met in a long time. They come and meet you directly at the apartment to explain everything and even recommend places to see. The balcony is HUGE and worth it, we lounged around it at night while our 3 kids slept. This is a family friendly apartment and definitely in the city center, accessible to everything lagos has to offer. Thank you for a great stay!

Jorge was an excellent host. The apartment was lovely and clean and well kitted out. Very comfortable living spaces and bedrooms.

While being in the city centre is excellent, the 24/7 vending machines across the road do attract a lot of late night revellers.

Well equipped and and very nice appartement in the old town of Lagos. Restaurants, beaches, stores, supermarket in walking distance. With Jorge we had a contact person who always gave support and also gave great restaurant tipps. Great praise and many thanks again to Jorge! Lagos is great, accommodation clean and well equipped, all shops around, beach close and nice .. all perfect BUT

Accommodation is on Main Street in the center with bars , means very noisy nights till deep morning. One bar is even in same building. Not possible to sleep without ear plugs! Don’t recommend for family with kids!

Excellent apartment great welcome pack roof top was superb.car parking just round the corner 1 minute and safe. was opposite one of the best restaurants I have been in food and service top notch.

Perfect location, very nice and big apartment. Terrace!!

you have to count with a noise at night as you are in the centre of everything. After 4AM it is very quiet place:-) You need to be one of them, sitting in the bar or have good sleep. We are the ones with good sleep.
