Sehr gemütliche, tolle und saubere Unterkunft. Sehr zentral gelegen. Unkomplizierter Check-in. Bequeme Betten, gute Ausstattung. Küche kann genutzt werden. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen :-)

Die Unterkunft ist sehr hellhörig. (Zimmernachbarn, Straßenlärm) Wenn man sensibel bzw eher empfindlich ist, könnte einen das stören. Ich bin da sehr unempfindlich :-)

Mariana is a very dedicated host and looks after the place really well. The kitchen is well served with everything and there's a nice terrace where to have your meals or a drink. Superb location as well!

The location was perfect spent two days in Old Town and Marine. Close to many options and beach. Was a lovely stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Maria was very sweet and provided recommendations around Old Twon.

Great location, good facilities, comfortable and clean, good value. and quiet. Was really nice to meet Mariana when we arrived.

great choice for a base in Algarve

Very hospitable host, spotless clean, i had a room with shared bathroom and balcony and had to share with just one more room. location is great, rather in the quiet area of the old town, still a bit noisy at night though. lots of free parking spots in 5 min walking distance.

Very good location. The AC unit had the option to reduce humidity, which was nice. The owner was really sweet. The kitchen was well equipped (but no coffee machine).

There is only one bathroom for the second floor, so if someone takes a while, there isn't anywhere else to go. There was also sometimes people from other floors going. The size of the two beds room is quite small for two people as you can't really be two moving around at the same time and the beds are quite squeaky.

We had a great time

Very clean and cozy, friendly host, perfect location and a nice balcony. Communication and self-checkin worked very well.

A bin in the sleeping room would be useful and maybe more possibilities to dry wet clothes/towels, they didn't dry in our room. In the kitchen we missed a cutting board and a vegetable peeler (or in general a wider selection of kitchen utensils).

A lovely guesthouse in Lagos

The guesthouse is in a quiet square just inside the city wall. It’s easy access to everything (restaurants, beaches and surf shops) and in a safe area. The beds were very comfortable. The owner is really helpful and accommodating.

Amazing stay

Mariana is an amazing host. Her hospitality is unique and marvelous. The location is perfect, in the middle of the city. An apartment is great, bathroom is spacious, bed is comfortable, AC is working efficiently, there is nothing to complian for. We had amazing and comfortable stay.

Perfect location to stay in Lagos with a very friendly host

The host is great and she gave us great recommendations for places to eat, beaches to visit and activities to do. Her recommendations led to us experiencing things we would've never found ourselves and we enjoyed the most of the entire trip. The rooms and guesthouse itself are very clean and have everything you need. The location is perfect and everything within Lagos is walking distance.

We enjoyed a lot our stay in Casinha. It is in center of Lagos and real close to different places of interest and beaches, the owner Mariana showed us main paths to walk, it was very helpful! She also showed us a “secret” place where we always could find free parking despite the location in center. Mariana also gave some great recommendations for nearby restaurants, very good and not touristic spots. In addition, the rooms and shared spaces in casinha are perfectly clean, fulfilling all possible requirements. The facilities are new, but the guesthouse is traditionally decorated, it feels very warm and cozy. Unfortunately, there is no breakfast proposed at the moment due to sanitary rules, but we could use the kitchen with a fridge and all necessary utensils. We also enjoyed a lot the small terrace on the first floor, a perfect place for breakfast or a glass of wine. Although the guesthouse is very close to the most popular streets of Lagos, it is located at a calm place, we did not notice a lot of noise.

Strong smell and dark room

The room has a very strong perfume or detergent smell and we couldn’t get rid of it even after a full night air-con on. Our room was rather dark and small. In general, it doesn’t make you feel very clean during the covid time. The location is convenient and the staff is friendly.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The owner Mariana is the sweetest person. She took the time to give me great food recommendations and things to do. None of it disappointed. The room i stayed in was extremely clean and had everything I needed. The location was perfect. A 10 minute walk to a lot of great beaches. There are a ton of restaurants nearby and free parking. Do not hesitate to stay here!

I loved everything about this stay. Mariana was really nice and helped me with everything. She is very flexible and makes sure your stay is perfect. The rooms are lovely and everything smells really good in the building. The location is at a perfect spot: close to the center and close to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Great value for money, spotless little guesthouse in the center of town managed by a great person.

Mariana's guesthouse is a wonderful experience from start to finish. The location is in the old town, steps away from most restaurants and bars but also walking distance from half a dozen beaches, one more beautiful than the next. It's perfect as a starting point for exploring Lagos, which itself is a gem of a place. It has a super safe but friendly vibe, and there are more excellent restaurants than I can count as well as access to all kinds of great tours and experiences. The house itself is beautiful, very lovingly decorated and taken care of. Our room opened to the balcony, so it was gorgeous and bright every day. The kitchen has all you need to cook light meals in, and the shower in the shared bathroom was excellent. Mariana keeps the place absolutely spotless. It's one of the cleanest, most beautiful smelling places I've ever been to. She's very warm and super competent, on top of everything from Covid measures to giving you recommendations for anything you might want to do. I know this is starting to sound over the top, but in 2 weeks my partner and I felt absolutely spoiled living here. Mariana very clearly cares deeply both about the guesthouse and her guests, and we couldn't have asked for a better start to our travels. Will recommend to anyone ever visiting the Algarve.
