The property is flawless from the outside and the location is great to have some rest especially with the swimming pool.
Our apartment was too hot 27 degrees when we checked in and the master bedroom has no natural light coming in. We had to open all the windows and doors to freshen a bit and we had mosquitoes coming in - very difficult to sleep.
Unfortunately the water pipe broke during our stay and we spent 1 day and a half without water, not easy with children.
Overall it would be good to modernise a bit the inside of the apartment otherwise it doesn’t worth the price especially during warm days.

Ein Traum von einer Anlage
Leider hat uns niemand in Empfang genommen. Sind aber trotzdem gut zurecht gekommen!

We stayed here 4 years ago and were delighted to discover it was available for our holiday this year. Beautiful building, manicured gardens. Pure Tuscany. We love it and will be back.
The fridge was very small for a family of 4. We had to shop daily if we were eating in and to keep up with the cold drinks

Beautiful countryside + view, historical apartment with modern equipment, history of the house, clean pool with clean watter for sunny days
Really bad access road suitable mainly for off-roads without advance info in apartman description. Door to bathroom not closing smoothly (ap. Virgo). Identity cards requested via e-mail (not provided), but still photographed by staff to be entered later.

Everything.
I would appreciate air-conditioning in the room.

The nearby towns and countryside in Chianti were stunning and the setting for the property was beautiful.
For the price charged, I expected a more luxurious apartment. It was initially very challenging to find the building which is located on a hillside up a dirt road. We had hoped to use the pool, but it closed early in the evening and opened at the 10am check-out time, so we were not able to use it.

Breathtaking view, on a hill surrounded by woodland and vineyards, with panoramic view on the valley.
Peaceful and authentically renovated with a careful eye to tradition, not forgettting modern comforts.
A pearl in the middle of beautiful Chiantishire.
There's no reception on site, to find the room is not that straigth forward.
Parking is not sheltered.

The heating did not work (only 18 degrees Innside) and unfortunately no further assistant measures have been provided by the hosts. The WiFi connection was very unstable, mostly not usable.

The location, the wonderful building & amazing views. The host was very helpful proving great recommendations for places yo go and see.

The location was beautiful and quiet. The property was extremely clean.
The property is somewhat remote on winding and gravel roads, good for beauty, not great for access to surrounding hill towns.

It was a beautiful property, spacious and comfortable, very clean, with great views overlooking the vineyards. The staff provided a baby bed and high chair for us, which made us feel much more at home.
We were really disappointed that the pool closed for the season earlier than the listing said. Our daughter loves to swim and we had picked this property over others in part because it looked like the pool would still be open.
The hill to get up to the property is very rough with a steep climb, loose gravel, and tight spaces. If renting a car, we would recommend choosing one with 4 wheel drive and ground clearance.
Since there is no restaurant on site and the apartment is a bit remote, we ended up cooking more meals than at other places we've stayed. We would have appreciated if some basic cooking staples like oil and salt were included, because they don't make sense for travelers to buy for only one week.

Beautiful place and excellent location for amazing Tuscan views of the countryside.
Nothing!

Friendly check in, very spacious apartment, beautiful building, lots of character. Within 25 mins lovely Tuscan villages. Cot and high chair for baby were both provided & well maintained.
The driveway. 1.1km driveway takes almost 6 minutes to drive up/down. Wasn’t very convenient, especially with a baby. I feel it should be clearly stated in the property description (or better maintained).
The bathroom. Although the rest of the property was very clean, there was lots of black mould in the silicone around the base of the shower cubicle.
Also we felt €4 (4x€1 coins!) per use of communal washing machine was a tad expensive.

Big and comfy apartment. Magnificent Tuscan views, great patio and swimming pool area.
Good internet connection.
Not as clean as one would expect from this kind of property.

great property, garden, swimming pool. nicely decorated spacious and very well equipped apartment Andromeda . very calm and relaxing place.
access to the property is difficult, bumpy gravel road for 1,2 km which requires to be better maintained. cleanliness of apartment can be improved in bathrooms kitchen and living room. no air conditioning neither shutters to protect against hot conditions in this area..also no mosquito net in front of windows or doors

It was perfect!
The road to get to the hotel requires a tractor.

Stunning location, beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. Lovely renovated accommodation and a relaxing pool area. Nice to have washing machine, make sure you have 1 euro coins to work it.
Needs to be very clearly stated that a car is essential. We arrived by taxi and realised that the nearest town was not in walking distance (20 mins by car). We needed to get provisions and asked the hosts for help with a good taxi service number and help to book a hire car. There was no help with either, our texts were ignored.
A B&B owner we found 1 mile away kindly worked with local people to give us food for our first night, this was humbling but also embarrassing for us.
We spent the whole of the next morning making many phone calls to taxi’s that didn’t respond/turn up, and to car hire companies that had no vehicles. Eventually EuroCar in Siena were able to help and brought a hire car out to us as we had no means of getting anywhere to collect it. Once we had the hire car we had a great time we just wish we had been helped out more by the host to do this.

Super clean! Very peaceful and quiet! Beautiful view!!
1. Roads to the property could be better
2. There could be at least basic cooking spices / oil
3. Bigger fridge would be needed for a family and a few days of stay
4. Breakfast would be great
5. Air conditioning will really be appreciated

Highly recommend this place. It's located in picturesque countryside. If you are looking for something quite, that's a perfect choice.
The route to the apartments is rocky but if you don't have a sport car, it would not be a problem.

We love our stay here. Words can't describe the view and the place here. We just felt in love with it a minute we get there. Our room has the kitchen, living room, dining area, and 2 bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The place is quiet and very relaxing. A must stay!

The house and the aera were so beautiful and calm.
It exceeded our expectations.
Everything was perfect!
For us it wasn't a problem, but you really need a good car to access the area as it is on a hill.

Beautiful place. Everything was clean and comfortable. Very relaxing. Great, peaceful views of vines and Chianti.
More remote than expected. Bad gravel road of several kilometers.

Perfect location
Beautifull surroundings
Very Clean
Kind hosts
Not all appartements have a proper terrace, some apartments share a terrace. If this is important for you, you should choose the right apartments.
Very bumpy road...

This place is just spectacular. It is truly a Tuscan dream come true. I would like to thank the extremely nice couple that is taking care of the house - they really tried to help us with every little issue we had. We stayed only a few nights - next time, I would book it at least for a week - there is so much to see in Chianti, and Casalta di Pesa is the perfect spot to stay. It was really hard to wake up at home, after spending those amazing few mornings in here :) Thank you!
The sofa bed was not really comfortable - but it was our choice to sleep on it and leave the rooms for other family members - the beds were really comfortable! There were some issues with the water, but it was not the owners' fault, and they tried to fix it as soon as possible. The road is not as bad as it seemed from the reviews - although we have an SUV, it may be a problem for smaller/sports cars.

Amazing view, beautiful pool, comfortable beds
Casalta di Pesa is up a very steep, loosely graveled path. Our car struggled with it. This is not the property’s fault - just something to be aware of.

Super calm, stunning views and bushes of Rosemary perfect to season your Florentine steak to grill on your own bbq that comes with each apartment. Tasteful decor and a very beautiful compound all together. We would happily vacation here again!
It’s far away from next town or supermarkets and the road up to the property is unpaved. We were happy our car had a 4WD. It’s quite a shaky ride!
The house is not sound proofed and you can hear every single word spoken in the entire house, which is not perfect when traveling with small kids.
We stayed for 10 days and would have appreciated a change of towels and also an in between cleaning of the house. Also a dish washer would have been super welcome.

The location
In the downstairs room a lot of light entered in the morning
