The very quiet Gardens, the lovely breakfasts, beautiful empty beach, lovely pool and courteous attentive staff. We had a gorgeous room with an out door, roll top bath. If you're looking for a quiet beach, this will hit the spot. The waves are strong so probably best for confident swimmers though you won't have to be an Olympian! The main house is also gorgeous with an airy colonial vibe. Evening meals can be taken at the beach restaurant over the road ( not a busy road). The place is gated with a 24hour watch for the security minded. Various swings, hammocks and board games dotted around. Peacocks, bee-eaters, monitor lizards and chipmunks abound. Heard a Coppersmith Barbet but didn't see it. Fruit bats fly over at sunset. Heaven!
That I couldn't stay longer!

beatifull large plot. looks absolutely charming. also the pools is spectacular, albeit not temp controlled. on side cooking local dishes was very tasty.
limited food, drink menu. apart from the look of the location when we visited there was not much acitivities on site nor the surounding area to do. great for 1-2 nights woudl not reccomend longer stays unless its like company retreats.

Our stay in Handun Villas was amazing. The rooms were very clean. And The staff was very helpful. Helped us to organize TukTuk and even cross the road ro beach. The beach is empty, you could rarely see someone passing by. Like a holiday in paradise with peacocks around.
Wifi speed could be stronger.

The reception area is nice as well as the pool.
The room I was given hadn’t been used by a guest in quite some time. The bathroom/shower room did not drain properly so there was a massive puddle at all times right at the door, requiring me to wear shoes or try to step over the water each time I went to the toilet. Not all rooms have safes and the one in my room was not working. The remote to the air con also didn’t work so I had to climb up onto a table to switch the unit off at the outlet or otherwise be too cold. There were never towels available for the pool. The breakfast was a very basic version of an English breakfast and the staff did not offer menus or an explanation as to what was available. Coffee is instant and dreadful. The restaurant across the street is grim and constantly full of insects due to no fans and minimal covered areas. They also were only able to offer a very small portion of the items on the menu and has no alcoholic beverages.

A beautiful colonial property set in stunning grounds with monkeys roaming around at the start and end of the day. A very comfortable bed with excellent AC.

The room and the pool.
There was no choice of food and beach restaurant was closed (website misleading). No staff in the evening or night. Someone’s undergarments hanging in common gardens.

Lovely villa in the middle of a large beautiful garden with singing birds.
There is silence and peace around.
Great pool, large spacious rooms with outdoor bath. The whole area is a treat for the eyes
The staff is humble, well trained and does everything for your comfort.
Booked for three days, I decided to stay for a longer period, did not want to leave anymore

We like alot the property, like a personal home, very big, and the pool was amazing.
We didn’t like the accomodation, we stayed in a standard room. The tv didn’t work, the bathroom was a little bit unrestored. The property need urgent restoration, the pictures are old, when the property was new. Now is very different.

Property is on a massive land and the villas are very spacious. The environment immediately relaxes you. Right across the road, the Tallala beach is a hidden gem it was almost empty and left like our own private beach. Plenty of board games and activities to choose from. And the BEST part of it all was that property is Pet Friendly. And the staff were extremely accommodating of our dog.
Everything was great, but I think food options and quality could improve. Food itself was tasty, but expected more.

Good value for money in a lovely area. Set well back from the road with nice gardens. The rooms are basic and have everything you need.
Bathrooms could do with an update or a deep clean.
