We loved this rental and our trip to the lake was perfect! The cabin was clean, the instructions from the host were easy, and the views of the lake were stunning. We spent the days swimming and enjoyed the fire pit each night. Being so close to the water was one of our favorite parts of the trip. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

This property is a clean, comfortable, rustic camp right on the lake. The view is beautiful and the property is quiet. The neighbors are very close so don’t plan on any kind of party. We will probably rent the property again. Charming

The cabin is a little old I will renew some things like the floors and carpets , but other than that it was a great place .

We had a great time at this rustic cottage. The view was lovely and the stonework at the lakefront was very impressive. The shoreline is pretty rocky with some zebra mussels so water shoes are recommended. We had a standup paddle board and it was perfect to get out a little deeper for a swim. The kids had a blast!

Summer weekend getaway
Beautiful lake view! Place is just as advertised! We went mid July and absolutely needed the many fans provided. It was very comfortable. We rode the ferry in, but found it just as easy to drive. Smell of cows did come through as others mentioned but moved quickly. We spent time in Burlington which was not a bad drive. We would return!

We will be back!
We loved waking up to the sunrise, the simple joy of being on the water 24/7, the swimming, the birds, the views. The beds were super comfortable and, even though it was hot outside, we were able to place the fans in strategic positions to cool the entire house down for sleeping. The fire pit was cozy and helped us relax even further. And while being "in the country", the local market was just .8 miles away.

We had a great relaxing time enjoying the beautiful view around a roaring fire in the fire pit. The cow smell every night was not pleasant but it came and left fairly quickly. It was not a game changer. We loved staying in the little cottage and found the beds very comfortable.

Beautiful!
The view is unbeatable. Totally gorgeous all the time.
The cabin is clean and accurately described in the listing.
The beach is rocky, as is the lake, so bring water shoes!
Even in July, the cabin was cool and comfortable. No ACs in the cabin, but we wouldn't have used them even if there were any. We did use fans just to pull in some extra cool breezes, since we love cold for sleeping.
Kitchen and bathroom were well equipped.
Beds were comfortable and clean.
Overall BEAUTIFUL location!

We loved the location and the house was very clean and well-equipped. The check-in/out process was very simple and the rates were comparable to the area.
Some notes:
The driveway is a bit steep, very narrow, and rocky. We had SUVs and most of us are pretty nimble getting in/out of our vehicles, but it wasn't the easiest especially the one time we had to run out at dark. If you have any less than agile family members you may want to take that into consideration.
Other reviewers have commented on the cow smell. Yes, it is pretty bad at times and we went during a cool weekend. The owners can't do anything about that, though.
We planned showers/dishes/hot water usage well due to the small hot water heater and didn't run into issues. It is something to plan for with longer stays, though. The bathroom is very small, but this is a camp/cabin. Some of us with longer legs/curvier bodies simply side-saddled the toilet and just accepted that the shower was going to be a challenge. Shave those legs before you get there if you care about that sort of thing. :)
I just can't say enough about the view we woke up to every morning. It was so peaceful to hear the waves lapping along the shore. If you are OK with a true camp/cabin then I recommend this location.

Cute little cottage on the lake
Spectacular view. Quiet, relaxing.
Only drawback was the cow smell when the wind blows toward as opposed to off the lake.

Perfect little lodge for our family!
We had a great time at Pearl Bay, the view vas just amazing! The lodge is old but very well maintained, our only criticism would be the smell of mothball when we arrived. We had a great time there, and we had the chance to meet some people that rented the lodge about 60 years ago!! It felt like being in an old classic, we had a wonderful time there and I would recommend it for any family looking for a quiet and close vacation together.

Awesome retreat with stunning views!!!
We loved this cottage. It is very classic, wonderfully rustic and exceptionally clean. It was a truly relaxing vacation and the fishing was great! We loved watching the sun come up and having fires in the evening under the stars. We loved the fresh country air and subtle breezes. The lapping of the waves on the pebble beach were so soothing. We loved the remoteness of the cottage; however, gas, food, bait, etc. are only 5 minutes away. We are already planning our return. Thanks for a perfect vacation!

Beautiful, quiet setting for cottage right on Lake Champlain; lots to see and do in easy driving distance, more than we could take in in 1 week. Great area for a holiday.

Quaint Cabin with Stunning Views
We truly enjoyed our stay in this home. You couldn't ask for a more stunning view. We woke early every morning to watch the sun rise on the lake. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and from the provided canoe. The beds were comfortable and the linens provided were plentiful and clean. There are houses close by, but the neighbors were friendly. There was nothing quite like sitting by a fire while listening to the waves crash below. A few nights, as a storm rolled in, we could smell a strong odor of cow manure, but it wasn't bad enough to keep us from visiting this house again. With a family of five, the five gallon hot water tank did require us to be strategic with washing dishes and taking showers, but we made it work. What we were disappointed with was the swimming. There was green algae/seaweed and too many rocks to swim past our knees. We visited the Sand Bar Park up the road and paid to swim. All in all, we loved our time at this home and made many family memories. Despite the few challenges, we hope to return again soon.

A great get away!
My family and I stayed here for a week this summer. We absolutely loved the location and the cabin. The view is amazing and the breeze off of the lake keeps one cool even in the height of summer. While I was a bit nervous about the 5 gallon hot water heater, it was never an issue. If we turned the knob to 12:00, the water was perfect. We wanted to get away, unplug, enjoy the outdoor, and have a great family experience. That is exactly what we got. We would definitely rent this property again!

A great camp in a great location
We have stayed here twice now and really love this spot for it's location, price and convenience. The only challenge we have found is that the smell of cow manure from the neighboring dairy farms when the wind blows from the west can be very tough to deal with. Great spot for boaters with a good dock and mooring.

Cozy and peaceful
Beautiful views of lake and mountains in where you can see miles. Small row boat on dock and gravel road out front to take long walks in which we saw wild turkey and deer. The cabin is rustic with all the accommodations of lake life, camp fire ring, picnic tables, s'mores and wonderfull sunrises. But within 5 minute drive to small grocery store and close by of several quaint local attractions.
