Een echt boetiek hotel
Een kleine, maar knusse kamer

Charming staff. Easy parking. Near Castle. Lovely interior. Great room and comfy bed, lovely bed linen. Great bathroom. Lovely outdoor space and dining room.. Breakfast couldn't have been better.
Sadly the view of the castle from the room, as shown on the booking site, had been permanently blocked by the building of a massive hotel right across the vista. We weren't warned about this before arrival so suddenly seeing it was a bit of a shock initially, but as the castle is two steps away a view is easy to remedy.
Also we were there at the weekend so didn't experience any building noise. And the room was quite hot but fans in room.

Staff were terrific and very helpful. It was very hot (hence not excellent for comfort) and they provided fans and would have also given buckets of ice to help cool down. Very nice room with lovely sheets. The food, including breakfast (which had good choice) was very good.
I prefer baths to showers but know I am unusual and it was fine for a short stay.

Stayed for my husbands 40th, great stay, staff were lovely, breakfast was really good, the Chapel room was just amazing and overall a fabulous time and will hopefully return in the not so distant future. Thanks, Emily
Smoked bacon I just prefer unsmoked breakfast was still amazing!

Calm relaxing ambience. Beautifully decorated. Friendly staff.
Nothing to feed back

character, decor and smell -
nothing - every little detail was thought about.

A lovely small boutique hotel, beautifully decorated in an old convent. The room was clean and comfortable with everything you’d expect.
The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful.
Breakfast was excellent with a choice of cooked options as well as cereals, pastries etc.
The hotel is right outside the gate to Alnwick Castle and only a two minute walk from the town centre.
Outstanding hotel and we would highly recommend.
Nothing really.

Fabulous little hotel, super friendly staff, excellent décor and wonderful location. Thank you so much for your hospitality - would definitely stay again.
There was no mirror near a plug to be able to use the hairdryer properly. Not the end of the world but maybe something to look at.

Stayed for two nights, lovely clean comfortable room with everything you needed. Really friendly and helpful staff. Location is great, 2/3 min walk into the centre of town. Breakfast included in the price which was really tasty. Short drive from Caster where there is a gorgeous coastal walk.
While there is a Bistro on site, it wasn't open while we were there. The staff made us aware of this very early on though and recommended other places. But just check if its open when planning your trip if you are planning on eating in the hotel.

The food was of the standard expected. Very friendly staff and excellent ambience.
Bedroom was somewhat small but understandable, since the building was previously a convent for very small nuns.
4.8
Not that I used it much but the TV was tiny and the channels wouldn't load.

The ambiance, just gorgeous, loved the dining room especially. Food really lovely, fresh milk for morning cuppa, always a good start!!!
wish the lounge and garden were dog friendly, I understand that dining area's are not appropriate, but I won't be able to visit with my husband and small dog, which is a shame as he'd love it, my husband that is.

Food great, staff really friendly & helpful. Very confy bed & shower was great. Excellent location right near castle. Nice garden out back also.
Slightly expensive but not too objectionable.

stunning property, we also ate in the restaurant and the food was exceptional
nothing to dislike. only comment is that we’d have
stayed for a couple of nights if it hadn’t been so
expensive. but that’s just about our budget
not about the quality of the hotel.

Room large and spacious
No staff after 9

lovely staff .. breakfast superb
unfortunately was given wrong information when I called the property . Disappointed we were not in a suite for my husband special 60th birthday. We thought the room was costly for what we got .

Breakfast was delicious! Lynn who was the waitress was a star! Nothing was a bother. She made us so welcome.
Nothing. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The shower flooded the bathroom floor - could be dangerous for disabled people.

friendly staff, comfortable bed, great location
dog allowed in room only, not allowed out on garden terrace, therefore unable to eat in hotel, unless you left your dog in the room.
