The house was in a good location and had everything we needed as a base for a weekend away.
The house is in need of freshening up. There was damage to the walls in the kitchen and the paintwork was quite marked. The house states that it sleeps up to 6 people but only 4 dining chairs. This didn't affect us as we were a family of 4.

The Kitchen/DIning area was well fitted out and spacious. We enjoyed spending time there.
SKY TV!!
The local beach was a treat. Totally unspoilt and beautiful
A little trouble finding the house.
Everything else was perfect

Beds were comfy.
Paying 150 pounds a night you would expect a working shower and decent towels. Towels were threadbare , small and old. Owner brought more.. but it was quality not quantity that was the problem. On checking back on other reviews the shower has been an on going problem tha just hasn´t been fixed. This is an investment property and not suitable for tourism. Needs maintanence. We couldn´t shower. This property is basic and souless.

Great location, a clean well-equipped and perfect holiday house for myself and my friends. We had a fantastic time and the hosts were really accommodating. Thank you very much.

Lovely local area, park and green areas to walk in were well kept.
House was clean and there were plenty of towels, toilet rolls, soap, teatowel, washing up liquid etc provided, as well as tea and coffee.
Owner was great, met us at the property, very accommodating and friendly, told us about local places to go etc.
Outdoor space was good but we didnt really get chance to use it due to the 8pm request to be inside.
Lots of places locally to eat out or for takeaway.
Could have done with more cups and glasses available to use, also a grill in the kitchen and more for cooking e.g baking tray, bread knife.
A chest of drawers to store clothes would be great.
Also an outdoor clothes line rather than just one clothes horse to dry things after a day at the beach.
Thicker curtains in the double room would have also been good as it was very bright by 5am each morning!
A second soda in the lounge would be a great addition for relaxing.
Neighbours could be quite loud at times with music playing and lots of noise in the middle of the night some nights - cars/bikes and possibly groups of youths meeting up.

The owner kindly met us at the accommodation and showed us round. The house is spacious, clean, nicely decorated and offering many home comforts. The kitchen had tea, coffee, salt, pepper, cleaning products etc which made the start of our stay easier. There is a home manual with info on the property, gadgets, taxi nos, restaurants etc etc as well as how they want the property left. We have family in Kirkcaldy and would 100% rebook this accommodation for future family visits. On a final note, the hosts could not have been more helpful or accommodating before and during our visit.
The shower pressure wasn't great and would drop even more if the tap was run elsewhere. Fine for a quick wash but both my myself and my daughter have long hair so it took longer than norm to wash. The TV was a bit tricky to master as there were lots of channels ie netflix we couldn't access. Neither of these things spoiled our stay and I'm sure if I'd have contact the owner they would have offered any assistance they could
