A good place to stay to explore the local area

Very pleasant owners greeted us. We were given useful relevant information about the area, such as how to travel by bus into Oxford, bus times and frequency, where we could eat supper locally. We could park and leave our car safely. Nothing was too much trouble.

A lovely place to stay just outside the city centre

Lovely welcome by hosts who were very helpful in advising us of the public transport. A bus runs into the certain of the city only a couple of minutes away. The room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was lovely with help yourself service to cereals, toast and yogurts. Hot croissants, hot chocolate, bowls of fresh fruit and eggs were available to order. We had a relaxing staff. Thank you very much.

Good stay

Friendly and helpful host

Breakfast ….. asked for choice for first breakfast then presumed the same choice for the next day. Nice selection of cereal, fruit and yogurt but hot croissants bought to the table straight away with the boiled eggs instead of asking when we would like them.

We visit Oxford often and this will be our number one choice in future

Brian and Siri were the perfect hosts who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The house was spotless and everything possible had been done by way of precautions against Covid. The continental breakfast had everything one could possible want to set you up for a days sightseeing. The bus stop for a 15 minute journey to the city centre was only a two minute walk away.

That we didn't stay longer. Two nights was too short a stay in this home from home.

Oxfordb&b is run with care and consideration for its guests.

This b&b is in a quiet location, south of Oxford, easily accessible by car from all main routes. We were able to park in the driveway and take a bus into the city. The owner very kindly supplied us with helpful maps. Our twin room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. A variety of cereals, fruit, toast and croissants were provided for breakfast.

Fabulous B&B

Beautifully presented property with great facilities. Our room was spacious and the bathroom and shower one of the best we have stayed in. The breakfast room was a delight and the breakfast offering a great start to the day. Siti made us very welcome and was a great host during our stay, delivering our eggs prepared as requested with a smile each morning. While a suburban location the bus into Oxford is only a few steps away. Great value for money.

There ws nothing to dislike about our stay.

Everything about this B&B was spot on. Hosts extremely friendly, we felt right at home. Location was ideal and the ability to park was an added bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here

Fabulous couldn't have asked for more, central location, lovely hosts.

The Oxford B&B was fabulous, great location for getting into Oxford. Bryan was so welcoming, excellent map and tips about where to eat, local pubs and bus routes. Everything you could want for a stay.

Great place to stay for a short visit to Oxford.

Location really good. Easy to catch a bus into Oxford. We also walked in along the river which was really nice. Quiet location, no passing traffic. Had use of kitchen at all times so could use this to have a meal in the evening if we wanted to. Breakfast was fine. Stand alone shower which I prefer, rather than one in a bath. Welcomed on arrival and given lots of useful information and maps.

A short break in Oxford

Welcoming and friendly owners. Helpful advice given. The guest house is in a quiet location, a short walk from the village and the local pub. Comfortable and well decorated rooms with a separate seating area provided.

The bus service from the village to Oxford in the morning was very good. However people should be aware that the late afternoon and evening service cannot be relied upon.

Home away from home.

Bryan and Siti are excellent host and the property is a gem. They want out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyed our conversations with them. Breakfast kitchen was lovely and well stocked. Quiet village just before Oxford itself.

Comfortable B&B in a lovely quiet location close to Oxford city centre

Location was perfect. We walked into Oxford along the river. Our room was comfortable and warm, breakfast was great with a good choices. Bryan was very welcoming and gave us really helpful local maps.

No frills, safe, clean and good place to stay

If you're looking for 5 star hotel with 5 star facilities pls move on. If you're looking for a no frills, safe, clean and nice environment, then this is the place to be. The hosts were friendly, kind and helpful. Their home is clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is simple but it worked for us. I would definitely stay back here again.

We got the top floor (which is kinda like an attic) so the roof was sloped. We kept knocking our heads at various corners, and we're not very tall. If you're tall I'd recommend you get the rooms at the lower floors. 😂

The people who ran the b&b were very friendly and very helpful they told us what bus to catch to go into Oxford and gave us some maps of the city.The bus stop was 2mins walk away.The b&b was in a great location 10 mins on the bus into Oxford centre. The breakfast was very good.The room was very nice also .
